      Please leave Disney out of this. Disney is the killer of true creativity. I know because I have personally seen the way they operate. Their movies are highly formulaic. Jacob is NOT.

(Sometimes the things we really like are made by people we can hardly stand. That's the grown up world. LOL)

    Though not as harmonically or rhythmically complex as some of his other reimaginings, this one is _orchestrationally_ complex.
    And damn, if that orchestration isn't good.

      It makes sense. The harmony and rhythm are _so_ well done in the original; if he wanted to bring something new to the mix, he had to expand the sonic palate into a wider, more comprehensive interpretation. The result is fucking *stunning*.
      This man is a genius and a gift to mankind in the most trying of times.

    Genius ... with a big happy heart!! If more people find "their voice" no matter what they are good at or like ... the world will definitely get much better! The lesson he sets: don't be better - just be you - being that no one else can do that for you. Jacob makes me smile .... his music expresses his happiness.

    You know, personally I’m not even a big fan of the type of music Jacob makes but there’s something about it that makes it a real listening experience even tho you don’t like it. Maybe it’s the feeling that the guy behind this really is a genius.. I really don’t know but what he does is really impressive
