Though not as harmonically or rhythmically complex as some of his other reimaginings, this one is _orchestrationally_ complex. And damn, if that orchestration isn't good.
It makes sense. The harmony and rhythm are _so_ well done in the original; if he wanted to bring something new to the mix, he had to expand the sonic palate into a wider, more comprehensive interpretation. The result is fucking *stunning*. This man is a genius and a gift to mankind in the most trying of times.
I like that he uses the word "reimagined" instead of "covered" cause "covered" just really doesn't... cover it ;) At first no pun intended but then it was.
Genius ... with a big happy heart!! If more people find "their voice" no matter what they are good at or like ... the world will definitely get much better! The lesson he sets: don't be better - just be you - being that no one else can do that for you. Jacob makes me smile .... his music expresses his happiness.
