Sabina, minority leaders are first elected by the people not appointed. Mitch McConnell is an elected US State Senator. House Minority leader McCarthy is an elected house representative. Unelected officials should not try to usurp the power of the people through the backdoor by having opposition leaders force their will as representatives in national matters. Its "extra constitutional".
Just a quick correction; McCarthy is the house speaker while Steve Scalise is the house majority leader. The republicans hold a slight majority in the house.

The truth is Sabina and majority of the Jubilee Party members, apart from a few sulkers like Kioni, have all along belonged together with their political colleagues in KK rather than Azimio, both ideologically and psychologically. They were only dragged screaming by Uhuru into Azimio, due to his own personal differences with Ruto. They respected Uhuru so much that they could not say no. They know very well where they belong.
