Wow ! Bartok and a Tribe called Quest. I'm a black composer and I know and play Bartok (he was a fantastic pianist as his Scarlatti records tell us and that 2nd piano concerto. This video made me decide to discover a Tribe Calle Quest. Jazz has always been in my environment (Thelonious,Bird,Dizzy,Miles ( but now I have a new music to explore . Charles Wuorinen didn't think everyone was worth listening to but we are a new generation !!!
