Although it was the peak of tourism season, we were pleasantly surprised to discover these deserted beaches where we had the whole place to ourselves. It was almost unbelievable, and we couldn't help but marvel at our good fortune. We couldn't fathom why these hidden gems remained unexplored despite being so beautiful and accessible.

I wonder why there is no one to be seen since these places were all quite beautiful. I love the fact that turtles can be seen in these locations. 🥰
These beaches seem to be less frequented due to their secluded location and lack of amenities. However, we consider ourselves fortunate to have them all to ourselves. It's an added bonus that we can enjoy the natural beauty without any disturbances.

As much as I hope that these beaches remain pristine and less frequented due to their remote locations and lack of amenities, I can't help but feel grateful that we get to savor the tranquility of having the entire beach to ourselves. It's almost surreal to have such breathtaking views and seclusion in one place!

Those are all stunning beaches. Kind of scary about the Navy ordnances though. You seem to always find the most beautiful, out of the way places.
These beaches are truly remarkable! The Navy has been taking steps to clean up any remaining ordnance and make the area safe for visitors. As far as I know, the risk of danger is minimal, or else they would have closed the beaches off entirely. Thank you for joining us in our quest to find less-traveled destinations. It's always a treat to discover hidden gems like these!

Puerto Rico beaches are so beautiful! I’d love to visit there to relax… How’s the public safety in the country?
Good question! We only transited via the main island (of Puerto Rico) so I can't answer for that part of our trek. But, where we stayed, in Vieques (a small island off of the coast of the big island of Puerto Rico), we felt safe. Like anywhere else, it is nonetheless wise to keep a watchful eye on your belongings when on the beach.
NIce video! As "secluded" I would add Navío and take out the Mosquito Pier... just my $.02 :)
You have a very good point. I was on the fence in including it in my countdown. I chose it because of the possibility of seeing turtles there and also, every time we went there, we were alone - it felt like we were on a secluded beach. So sad. Such beautiful, off the beaten path beaches, yet humans are so resourceful at finding ways to leave plastics there.
It's disheartening to see how plastic pollution finds its way into these delicate ecosystems. However, we remain optimistic that we can find a solution to prevent this problem from escalating any further. Let's work towards eradicating this issue before it becomes irreversible.
