It's insane that the Ultra is 2x as expensive as the 7 with the same internals. You are paying for "looks" and a slightly bigger screen...
Bigger battery, but if you paid more than $250 for the Ultra you are seriously doing something wrong.
and the "looks" is not that much better. even worse, it's uglier than the watch 7 tbh

I'm glad I got the titanium silver.. it's just gorgeous.. and for $193 after trade in galaxy watch 4 classic + military discount and all the other discounts, was a bargain 💪🏽

It wasn't all that long ago that I was scrambling to get the watch six classic 47mm. Now before we know it the seven is out but it's only in 44mn and now the Ultra is double the price. Just wondering how much smaller the 44 millimeter will be compared to the 47mm watch 6.

The new chip is absolutely amazing I rock both ecosystems normally cannot stand an Android watch I am loving this watch so much as much as my stainless steel Apple watch it's amazing You're going to love it!

How is the battery life on the ultra? have you activated all the health options like continuous heart and continuous stress tracking, sleep, and always on display turned on?
Without AOD on and heavy use im getting a little over 2 days
@enginethatcould5257 I have been reading various battery usage reviews, and I have noticed that some users have reported that their watch's battery does not last more than a day, while others have claimed to get just over two days with the same features enabled. I believe that there may be some variation in the performance of different watches, and that some may not be functioning as well as others.
Samsung claims that the watch can provide up to 60 hours of regular use with the always-on display enabled, and I was hoping that this claim would be accurate. Your seems to be doing fine.

Το ξερετε οτι το watch 6 ,υποστηριζε φορτιση (οταν δεν ειχες τον φορτιστη του η ασυρματο φορτιστη ) με το να το βαζεις στην πλατη του κινητου σαμσουνγκ γκαλαξυ φλιπ ?(το κινητο το φορτιζες με κανονικο φορτιστη κι οχι ασυρματα ,κι ανοιγες την εφαρμογη και το ρολοι φορτιζοταν)
Ομως το warch 7 δεν υποστηριζει ασυρματη φορτιση ,βαζοντας το στην πλατη του κινητου!!!

I was actually pretty pissy when my Ultra came in and wasn't the Gray Titanium. It was the Silver Titanium. But I'm glad. The silver gives it bit more character and profile than the Gray, which is basically all black. Overall the watch looks... "aight". It's a watch... Features are an upgrade. The speed of OS is faster. Standard band sucks... Not a fan of sweaty waffle wrists. Band prices are redonculous. Cheap, if you go 'questionable'. But yeah... I thought this was going to be 'massive', 'bulky' and 'heavy'. I hardly notice it there, which is a plus. I guess, all my years of wearing Nixon 51-30's, finally paid off. LOL

I ordered the grey and got the grey today. I'm glad it's basically black. I had the black 6 classic.
@ibby81ae You can expect between 1,5 (with really heavy usage) and 3 days (with light usage) so in average 2 to 2,5

I bought latest Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra mainly because I want to have something that tracks my step count every day, without having to have my cell phone in my pocket all the time...
Following problem happens to me every time...for example, when I wear a watch and a mobile phone at the same time, and they are not connected via bluetooth, and I take, for example, 1200 steps, (the number of steps is almost identical on the mobile phone), after that I connect the watch to the mobile phone via bluetooth and suddenly another 200-300 steps are added to me in samsung health app and then it says about 1400-1500... how? why? it's obvious that something is not working well with that synchronization.
what is the point of having two devices counting steps if they will always add some non-existent steps,,,
can I use clockworkmod on this?
Love my Galaxy Ultra..........just waiting for the black bands........got mine a week before it said I was going to receive it, can't complain. So far, so good.....I'm thinking in buying the white one......with the Samsung card though, 24 months interest free......
I passed on the Ultra because there is no Wi-Fi only variant (SM-L700) right now, which would have been slightly cheaper than the cellular variant. I would wait until next spring to get it so that I can prepare for next year's Galaxy Watch One UI 7 beta.
(One UI 6 is the current version for the Watch 7 series.)
I have both, the watch 7 44mm in green for $29.99 and $189.00 for the Ultra in Titanium Silver, both are great watches, the 7 is a lot more confortable and looks incredible good, the in silver looks very attractive.

The Ultra, they give me $350 and I select the student discount, the price was $600, $50 discount and some point with Samsung pay

ok i noticed the watch 6 7 screen looks slight bigger than the ultra ok the 6/7 is 44mm rhe ultra is 47 so how can this be im not paying 700 for a smaller screen reason i say this i have a screen protector for the ultra and placing it over the watch 6 its smaller
Samsung has nice deals, my apple watch 8 is worth 200 towards the 7 and 300 towards the ultra. I went with the 44mm 7 because they basically do the same things and even spending 350 felt like a bit much.

Does anyone have any experience with getting the LTE function to work? Some say you need a second mobile plan, others not. I bought a second plan but could not get the ultra to scan a QR code from the carrier. Both Samsung and carrier were unable to get it working.
Super weird. I have the Galaxy 6, 44 mm, LTE and it worked the first time. The Samsung app would not do the job for you?
@villafontananorte no, it didn't. When I go into the Wearables app, then Settings, then Mobil Plan... it just clocks saying "Finding more about your plan..."
@larryag99 im on the phone right now with Verizon sometimes your provider might have to set some things up

@famz010 I use Mint Mobile. Mint says they don't support watches, but their parent company T-Mobil does. Mint says I needed to buy a second plan, and I did, but now Samsung says the Wearable app can not accept manual input for provider data. Both are passing the buck.

I got the Watch Ultra since it was dirt cheap at $229.99 and disabled the gimmicky health features on it so it should get 5 days worth of battery life just like the watch5 for general use. I care less about the gimmicky health options on the ultra as I got the Ultra to replace the watch 5 pro since they both have the same size battery. The nice thing about the Ultra is the performance is not as janky as the watch5 pro was.
How did you get it so cheap? It's $650 right now on samsung website. $230 seems a bit expensive, but at least somewhat affordable, and reasonable to how much work goes into making it. but $650? that's highway robbery!

I got the ultra and realized Samsung needs a new UI. Ultra is a watch 7 with a bigger battery and a siren🔔 . I will keep it because they gave me one heck of a deal for the 6 classic. still think they should ditch the bezel for an internal circular screen in square. Thanks again
I kept my watch6 classic, but did turn in my watch5 pro for the Ultra as the performance on the Ultra is not janky like with the watch6 and the watch5. I like the fact that the Ultra can get 5 days of battery life as I personally don't use the health options on it as I use my smartwatches for general use, so the new hardware and the same size battery like the watch5 pro should offer better battery life and performance. for $229.99 The watch Ultra is perfect for my needs.

You should see a lot of videos and compare or check them in a shop... I took the grey/orange but eventually find the silver/black better... Also depends on your tastes and fashion style!

Just received my watch 7, they sent me the free fabric watch band but didn't include the actual band for watch😡😡. They're sending me a promo code for a free watch band😊
I had the same situation! Customer service said that the fabric watch band was the only band included! I told the rep I thought i would have the actual band as in the product photos plus the free promo band. They said no. Bummers!
