I am making a mashup, but I don’t understand how to adjust the BPM of the vocal stems (copied from another track). Originally, the BPM is slower, but when I add them to another track, it almost doubles in speed. I tried different options from Temp lane (Auto and also Manual).

Officially you can not submit the mashup if it is longer than 8 minutes. You can always raise the overall tempo to shorten the track ;-) Yes we have more lag issues. With the mashup contest we push for lots of sample sin all 5 lanes and with stems all over the place. We look into these issues as we speak and come with a big speed update early next week.

They are in a special area since they are not free to use. If you create a new Armada project, you will see those tracks. Or you can open your existing mashup project, of course. ;-)
I have a question regarding the 2 tracks minimum requirement. If I have selected 1 main track, and then a second track just to extract the vocals from it and then delete the second track... will that be accepted? Because I don't want to transition into the second track, I just want to use the vocals from the second track and put it over the first track which is the main track. So I guess the question is: Does the 2 tracks minimum means we have to also create transitions in addition to the mashup?
Is it possible to use the AI in your software then mix and edit in Ableton, for the competition, I've paid for the full version of the DJ studio, but its a bit if a pain
You did not need to pay to enter the competition. We extended every trial with 2 weeks for people entering the contest. You ar enot allowed to use Ableton. Everybody has the same gear, same samples and same software.
It only works within DJ.Studio with the 20 tracks provided. But you can seprate every stem or sample you need from those 20 tracks and come up with an uber cool mashup. DJ.Studio is for free during the contest period.

Fading, clipping, cropping and moving around is a pain. everyting moves. The track keeps playing from another point if you click somewhere in the track. Also, the effect rack keeps freezing to the point that I cant do anything with it. Is this a known issue?

Why you guys tutorial always using 120Bpm to 130Bpm songs all the time I’ve been following, but I never seen you any other genres always them fast beats. Let’s see you making tutorials with 90bpm to 100bpm please 🙏

Please contact support in the bottom right corner of the app. You mixed up double and half tempo on the grids.

this might be a silly question, do the vocals you might use in another track have to be in the same key??
It depends on the notes sung ;-) If you think your not off tone then your fine.

Downloaded dj studio, as well as the armada tracks but upon reopening dj studio I can't find the armada tracks in my library any ideas

1 track + 1 sample is fine. Not that you will be a winner but thats working already ;-)

Nowadays the drums and the base have much more energy than the old songs. Thewas hardly compression in the 70s and 80s. Production was different.
I'm sorry to have to say this, but the download of the tracks breaks down every time. Sometimes at one per cent, sometimes at 30 ... unpredictable.
