- These three young guys met in a cafeteria, found they have a common love for singing, and formed a trio! Having only sung together for about 6 weeks, everyone was curious how it would go... And man, did it GO!
Join me as I analyse their lovely ensemble singing in this unique rendition of one of my favourite pop ballads of the last 20 years.

Yes, they said they grew up singing in a church environment, hence, the organic manner in the presentation and affectations.

Well yes, when I watched it the first time by 'happenstance', I was subdued by the real gospel in their voices, church babies as they called themselves. At some point you think there's more voices than you can see on stage. Great performance, want to hear more.

Exactly. Black Church is a master class. Them choir directors are extremely strick but nurturing. They don't play AT ALL. Not the piano player at church. From kids choir on up. You better let the spirit use ya but ya better not mess up this song for the Lord! 😂😂

Have you ever seen the full audition of Collabro? They had been together only about a month before going on to AGT. The sang a song from Les Miserables. They were amazing and went on to win the year they competed. Music is a universal art. If you love music, it will speak to you somehow. Also, at least one has a wide vocal range. They all sang tenor - high tenor, not falsetto - during their individual lines, but one of them sings bass in harmony. Solid bass. I just can't figure out which one it is.

Great voices but they didn't win so you have to question the voting audience. Many great voices on TV shownever make it to the end. Case in point. Johnny Manuel!
