This is spellbinding. I’ve never heard my favorite Warsaw Concerto played without an orchestra. It is equally if not more powerful. There is something so poignant about this piece, originally written for a WWII Film, Dangerous Moonlight. Bravo to this extremely talented young woman who captures every nuance. This is such a privilege. Thank you so much for sharing this. It pierced my heart each time I hear it.

Casualmente estaba buscando ejemplos de este concierto de Addinsell para ESCUCHARLO como suena terminado, en su versión de solo piano, porque tengo ganas de empezar a leerlo. Yo lo conocí de chico por un disco de vinilo que había en casa, de la orquesta de Ray Conniff. Y bueno, pasan los años, uno estudia desde los 14 años mas o menos, y hoy gracias a la tremenda herramienta que es Internet se pueden escuchar muchas versiones. Valentina lo hace maravillosamente bien, por ejemplo.
Uno muere por tocarlo, pero conseguir tocar con orquesta no es fácil.

Tänkte jag skulle själv studera in detta stycket, men jag kom inte så långt: fingrarna orkade inte, Fantastiskt stycke musik. Bra att ta fram på nattkröken efter en god middag tillsammans med vänner för att imponera.

If she is that good, how come she needs to check the music score while playing. This will interrupt her feeling. When I compared that by Valentina Lisitsa, I could tell the difference right away.

She played both the orchestra section and the piano section together though . Yes music is always performed best memorized.

This and Rach 3 are absolutely no comparison... Like Rach 3 is infinitely more difficult than this. Obviously, I am not saying she cannot play Rach 3 (I do not know).
You are right about Rach 3.It is the most challenging for every pianist.If she can play the Warsaw Concerto with this magnitude. I think she can also handle Rach 3.
