- Welcome to another episode of squishy makeovers, where I transform ugly, used, old, dirty, cheap or unwanted squishies (donated by my subscribers) into my own creations. I repair, paint and cut away for hours on end to complete these. Hopefully you like them. Get used to lots of rainbow and sprinkles, because I am addicted to both!

1. CAN I SEND YOU SQUISHIES?
So many generous people have sent me their unwanted squishies so I actually have a lot to work on already, BUT if you desperately want to, you can request my mailing address in the email ALLLL the way at down in the description (sorry for the traveling), make sure to read the disclaimer down there as well.
2. ARE SQUISHIES RETURNED TO THE SENDERS AFTER THE MAKEOVER?
No. These squishies are sent as donations to the series because they are damaged and/or no longer wanted. Everyone has been informed in advance that squishies would not be returned.
3. WHAT PAINT DO YOU USE?
I use fabric paint. Fabric paint is meant to stretch, so it is perfect for squishing! Any brand will work fine, but I mainly use Tulip. You can find it at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, A.C. Moore, Walmart, Joann Fabrics, and Online.
5. WILL FABRIC PAINT CRACK?
The matte fabric paint is more likely to crack after lots of squishing. Slick fabric paints never crack. But there are benefits to both. I usually mix the two paints together to get the best of both worlds.
6. CAN I USE ACRYLIC PAINT ON SQUISHIES?
I would not recommend that. Acrylic paint will either make the squishy hard, or it will crack and flake off very easily.

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 28 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try).

Ninjas in black is a myth. They wore whatever would help them blend in: disguises during the day, dark blue at night. Moriah's ninjas are perfectly dressed to blend into the crowd of made-over squishies.

As soon as I saw the squirrel I was hoping she’d get picked. Darla and her rainbow acorn definitely did not disappoint.
Fun fact, ninja's actually originally didn't wear black. Background actors in Kabuki theaters wear that all black costume. They would be the people moving props around and not supposed to be noticed. Someone came up with the idea to have a ninja "blend in" to the environment by becoming a background actor and jumping into the middle of a scene to surprise the audience. It apparently worked so well that ninja's became associated with the black costume.

Ever since I learned that real life ninjas wore normal clothing because they were supposed to blend in with crowds, I haven't been able to rationalize why they're stereotyped to wear all black in pop culture. Thank you, now it all makes sense!!

Hey Moriah! Idk if you'll see this but I just want to say that I started watching you when lock down started and you inspired me to continue drawing and try to improve in my art. In 2021 I started to go back to school and my drawing wasn't very good but I still continued and you helped me develop my own art style along with many other well known artists. Last year (2022) my progress and skill in art has improved by alot. You inspired me to try out new things that I never did before and I just want to say that I'm a huge fan and I love your videos. The first time I saw your channel I immediately fell in love with it!

Idk if she’s doing this already or has already done it not online but I would love to see a mini me room makeover. I know she’s protecting mini me from the internet, which I’m proud of her for doing so bc whackos are on here, but doing like a cute room makeover for her little one would be so fun! She doesn’t have to show mini me but another room makeover is so fun to watch. And plus I feel like she would go all out for this room because cmon Mama Moriah would be the most creative and fun mom ever. MORIAH YOU SHOULD PAINT A CHESS BOARD WITH LITTLE PIECES YOU SCULPT AS YOUR CHARACTERS! Basically one character for the pawn, another for the knight, and so on! I love your work and hope you will consider doing this as even though it is a challenge this will stretch you as an artist.

Maybe she could use more of those wooden peg dolls as the chess piece bases? Then she isn't hand sculpting an entire chess piece and just has to add the little details like pickle's spikes or georgie's pineapple leaves

6:29 actually no! traditionally, ninjas wore light grey/blue or civilian clothes. the people who wore all black were *drumroll please* THEATRE STAGEHANDS! yes you heard right. and one day the stage crew wanted to ✨️switch it up a little✨️ and so "stabbed" one of the main characters of the play and sank back into the shadows. and ancient Japanese theatre-goers associated the surprise attacks with ninjas, so how do you tell a stagehand from a ninja? you can't until they ✨️stab you✨️
