- Kayak fishing and camping on the Clarno to Cottonwood section of Oregon's John Day River. This section covers 79 miles which our group paddled over the course of five days and four nights.
More info on this section can be found on the American Whitewater website here: www.americanwh...
Intriged by your choice of yak for that river, but you are up to obviously, love bass fishing, yak fishing and fly fishing, so keep it coming, tight lines.
Haha, yeah I suppose there are better tools for the job these days. I just didn’t want to be bored in a raft, and the Moken certainly kept me entertained. Much more lively and responsive in whitewater than I thought it would be!
All hail Smoosh!!! Awesome video dude 🤘
#longlivesmoosh

Nice video, good toons.. who is the first band for the intro?
Thanks Braxton! That would be Joe Marson.
sure looks like those John Day smallies are a ton of fun. Gorgeous scenery too. Who is the band playing in the second song of the video (bluegrass type song - starts at 5:55)
So much fun!
The band is called Kuinka - song is “Gold”
@@sethezekielwest awesome, thank you Seth!
Nice, kayak + rapid + fishing + camping just what I'm doing. Subscribe!
Thanks for joining the journey!
What lure were you using on your spinning rod before you switched to your fly rod?
Black rooster tail with silver blade - works on pretty much every thing when the water visibility is poor!
So we’ll done!
Thank you 🙏
