If she does end up as Mulan, I'd prefer if they made it Battle of the Bastards-esque, intense and dark, rather than a musical like the original, because the basis is that it's a war movie.
jake frost I'd love to see her as Mulan too! She's awesome! But I think the resume needs to be able to speak English and Mandarin fluently. I'm quite not sure if she speaks Mandarin at all.
Highly doubt whoever they cast will need to speak fluent Mandarin. The movie will be in English just like the original. They might put some throw-away Mandarin words in there to add authenticity like they threw some French words into 'Beauty and the Beast' but any actress could easily learn those before filming.
I can't wait to see Colleen and Misty meet up and become the MCU Thelma & Louise.

I liked Colleen Wing more than I liked Dany Rand, also fire the fight choreographers for Iron Fist, Daredevil's fight scenes were great but Iron Fist's looked more like Just Dance 2017.
