What about if you just bought a new TCL Roku
Tv from the yester year use to plug in attach an aerial and just work with a little tuning and of course us children as the human remote control. Then came the smart tv that only work until no firmware or apps get updated. Not so fooking smart are they. I know you can buy a dongle but thats extra cash until they stop being updated. Then we go on the merry go round again. The joys of TV advancement.

Doc, thanks so much for the update. I have brand new Smart TVs so I won’t be effected. Otherwise, I would be pretty 😠 angry. Do you know why they are doing this? They have already lost a bunch of customers for other reasons. Now their customer database is really going to decline. Not really smart idea.
I use the free legal apps and paid subscriptions third-party apps or little iffy so I just don't deal with third party what I mean is sometimes They work and sometimes they don't

Have you tried “side load launcher” or a custom launcher like wolf launcher? One or the other let’s me see all mine

Yep the same thing happened to me, my daughter subscribed to Netflix family, I split the bill with her and used her password all worked fine for a year but it now stopped working on my tv so she cancelled it

Try a known url you know works on any page and see if it loads

I very rarely use Netflix. They are so liberal I can’t stand them. My husband uses it on his Apple phone. If you have screen mirroring you cam can still big screen it.
