One of my fav things about this game is all the little hidden things. I’m hoping the prequel they’re currently working on has similar fun things to find!
Have you noticed any requirement to getting the black beetle to spawn? I've been rerolling Corsus for two days now and I've never seen a black beetle. It has been red every single time.
I'm pretty certain the beetles only spawn in the Whispers dungeon and the Strange Pass, and I'm pretty certain that all my black ones were in the Whispers dungeon but honestly I wasn't keeping track at all so I'm definitely unsure. I know Razzmatazzz's save analyser sometimes picked up the beetle spawns when I tried it a week or so ago, so it might be useful to use that - I assume it'll have been updated and refined a bit since I last logged in?! Sorry I can't be more help.
I am not entirely sure that they respawn if you hit the checkpoint - you said "if they do skitter off - you can go back to the crystal and reset and try again" - I don't know if its just me or I misunderstood but one of mine skitter off and hitting the crystal did not reset it :D EDIT - Turns out if you go to a BIG crystal and then back to where the beetle was then you get another chance :) but the smaller crystal did not work for me.
I try my best not to look at videos about this game. When I do though, I am always excited that there is someplace that I have yet to explore or come across.
Same. Generally I try to he as thorough as I can and at least try stuff out before I look up how to do it. My desire to collect shit over rules my pride.
Unfortunately it is random which beetle spawns. I believe the Hall of Whispers is your best bet for beetle spawns but that doesn’t mean it’s exclusively black beetles. I don’t know if Razzz’s save analyser tells the difference between black and red beetles.
Just did some quick research and apparently a beetle of some type will always spawn in the Strange Pass so that’s something to look for. In 1.95.15 of the save analyser, Razz does mention adding extra nuance to the beetle detection. Obviously this only helps if you’re playing on pc, but on console at least you can always look for Strange Pass.
That's the Butcher's Flail for most of the video, iirc. Got from the Butcher in Corsus with the alt kill (which is the one when you hide in the pot I believe.)
Can i make the infector spawn at the overworld after resting at checkpoints over and over again?Cause i dont see one anywhere, dont have the dungeons that people informed me that they spawn either and dont wanna reroll the map cause i want to do the queen-npc poisoning thing
In the Circlet Hatchery, when you blow up the hanging blue cocoon sacks, make sure you kill every single wisp that flies out of them. Don't let them hit you. Once you've cleared all of the sacks, you'll get the Trait (and the ring if you didn't already get it). I think there are six sacks.
There are two kinds! I tried for ages to get the guys in the acid pools to infect me but they just killed me. Took me a while to realise there are a second type that look slightly different.
Adventure Mode. As per normal in Remnant, not every event/dungeon shows up every time. Sometimes you'll have to keep rerolling until you get what you need.
@@demajen How do you use the analyzer? Played about 200 hours on my console before any content updates and just got the complete edition while it was on sale. Gonna try and talk my buddies into completing the story on nightmare with me just so they can realize how painful the game can be. And after they're broken talking them into Apocalyptic will be all the easier. I'm a good friend btw.
There’s an enemy who looks similar to the infector but it is in fact a different enemy. The enemy you’re looking for glows bright green not the normal yellow glow of the more common enemy which I believe is what your encountering. The infector will swipe you but if you stand still it will eventually grab you.
I’ve noticed that fextralife’s Remnant wiki isn’t as up-to-date or comprehensive as some of their other game wikis. Strange Pass is definitely a dungeon in Corsus Adventure Mode. I believe it has a cave mouth style entrance.
I just got to corsus and killed the guardian. Logged back in trans the game crashes for the first time. Lost 6 hours of game play and it brought be back to rhom before I found all the glowing rods. Promptly deleted the game. Lore is dryer than saw dust and I’m not searching whack maps for those rods again and relating all that bs. Can’t believe it took me back that far and deleted my progress. What a fkn waste of time
Important Information! The Rattle Weed mod can draw the beetle back out after it hides!
For real
confirmed
Man that rerolling is like rolling dice
It's worse xD
Thanks mate this helps a lot didn’t know about the trait lol 👍🏻

Same problem here I’m getting red beetles only

Bro. Thank you soooo much. I thought I had to re roll. But I can just spawn kill him for 3 of the armor pieces
This is great, thank you for the guide! haha ofcourse it is RNG and you have to kill it 3 times to get the armor.
Took me soooooo long to find the beetle for the last piece :-/

I’m getting only red beetles how to get black ones

What's the Mele weapon are you using?

Good shit my dude.
if u kill the beetle is there any way to reset or do u have to keep reseting the adventure and be lucky to find the same dungeon ?
If you’ve killed it, resetting is the only way I’m afraid.
@@demajen yikes, thanks fo the info
Are you daniel rottonborough ? My good dir
Hello, how u have trait: Exocation?

Hmm, when I tried to get infected by one of those green guys, killed me like all the other guys that can grab you

Your health was not going down..
???
How did you get to these locations? is it an adventure mode or storyline? I bought DLC, but still can not meet the boss Iskal

I searched 2 h for this infectet Mother...... but he did Not spawn bullshit of an Game cant do Progress now
What system you on?
My one actual complaint for the game is horseshit like this. The amount of luck it takes.
Yup, agreed. I could never play it on console. At least on PC I can use the world analyser to ensure my time isn't wasted.

Strange passage? I can't find it in the wiki

Too much work ffs. This is padding to the max.
