- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- Full building steps of this "expert level" BPK Model's 1/72 scale plastic model kit of Boeing E-7T Wedgetail scale model aircraft as Turkish Air Force - "Peace Eagle" livery. Building, detailing, painting. Step by step, all the stages from the first piece to the last piece. All extra resin details sets, photoetch parts, canopy masks, decals are out of box. I have only used pilots from other kits.
Hope you like.

Wow now that’s a lot of anntenas great job 👍 21:12
Many thanks! 👍👍
The C-40 has been kicking my ass since last November.
Not an easy model. I wish you luck on your build 🍻
Amazing work. The fit of the large parts was incredible. The overall look was so clean. Your work with placing the decals was a masterclass.
Thank you very much for this nice comment! 👍👍
Absolutely stunning, loved it 👏👏
Jason 🇬🇧
Many thanks👍👍
Great Job Ugur!
Thank you so much my friend 🤝🤝👍
Nice work! While your builds a re top-notch, I feel like I must comment on your videos: The quality of your videos is excellent. They are a pleasure to watch and re-watch. Thank you!
Hearing this motivates me even more. Thank you very much!
It looks gooooooooood!👍
Thanks a lot ! 🙂👍👍
U need to fined Tamiya extra thin cement or Mr cement or MEK if you can get a hold of that less sanding and rework .
Did you try to build this model before? I have all these cements, but these cements are specially design for Tamiya models, i mean almost perfect fitting, quality plastic so no need much sanding.
@@ugurkenel plastic is plastic my man Tamiya has the best molds and they are the ones to follow in manufacturing. as you sand the panel lines go away so i stick with the thin cement group that are faster drying , and CA glue for epoxy parts.
Plastic is definitely not plastic, Tamiya's plastic is much different and adheres much more homogeneously with its own adhesive. I definitely understand what you mean. But you can never, ever glue such a body with Tamiya extra thin. Because I would never want to destroy the panel lines.
By the way, the drying time of the CA glue I use is 15-20 seconds, and Tamiya adhesives become sandable after at least 4-5 hours.
Thanks anyway.
Yeah…no. This kit needs a lot of work to get aligned and cleaned up. Glue is not the issue.
@TheModelGuy Also there is no male-female joint sections on fuselage, so if i use weak cements, cracking of fuselage during next steps is most possible.
Great build, can i ask what was the pencil you were using for panel lines?
Thanks a lot! @gazzasb1
The pencil I use is a normal 0.5 lead pencil. It doesn't have any features. I even use my daughter's school pen most of the time🙃.
When I don't want to apply a wash and darken the color of the model, I always draw the panel lines with a pencil.
Hi ! Amazing work ! thank you very much ! 😊 16:09 do you really just gently sand on decals or have you applicated a varnish before to not damage the decals ? if I do this on my models i just ruin them !😂 how did you do ?
Many thanks!
Before and after decal, sanding required or not, i always apply good coat of gloss varnish to protech them.
On this model, i have sanded surface to make more smooth, because this model was shiny.
I missed second part of question.🙂
How i did. 2-3 layer of gloss coat. Tamiya X-22 is good for it. at least 24 hour drying time. Then i use sponge sandpaper, Tamiya also has some sponge sandpaper. I damp it and sand surface. Just to make smooth surface, not like sanding putty.
thanks for your answers ! it's very clear ! 😊
How about make a model of Su-30MK of Viet Nam Air Force. Its will be special
Why not. It would be nice. But i need a SU-30 modelkit for it.
@@ugurkenel I think Su 30MKI version is perfect, not correctly as the Mk II in Vietnam but anyway, ít a best choice
I dont have it. I first need to find that kit.
@@ugurkenel If I were you, I would go with Hobby Boss or GWH. Dont use Kitty Hawk because the plastic quality is too bad
@chithanh2901 I will try to find it, thanks.
Are there any markings for the Rep of Korea Air Force?
There is only two option on this box. Turkish and Australian. You can check from their website. “Big Planes Kits”
Engines exhausters are not very realistic, you could apply some heat colours
Excellent work! Do you find that with all of the sanding of the fuselage and wings, do you get sanding dust on the inside? If so how do you deal with that?
Many thanks!
If you watch again, you will see a blue microfiber cloth near model always. I keep it always wet. Also i always sanding my models wet.
I always soak the sandpaper in water and wet it, then sand it, and clean it immediately with a wet cloth.
There is absolutely no dusting or it is minimal. This is my way 😉
@@ugurkenel Thank you for sharing, this is most helpful!
Anytime my friend!
I cant decide if i want to build mine wheels down or wheels up, unless i can figure out a solid solution to being able to do both. Fantastic build Ugur
Many thanks !
I also built the P-8 model of the same company and finished it with the landing gear up, as you said. I made this model (almost the same fuselage) with the landing gear extended. Now I can compare both. I think I like it better with the landing gear down.
Everything about this video is perfect. The building, the image quality, the chill music. I love it!
Thank you very much !! 🤝
Very impressive build with a great result. Thank you so much for the time and effort to share this via UA-cam. Awesome!!
Thank you so much for your nice comment !!
🤝
Elinize sağlık çok başarılı. Modeli hangi internet sitesinden tedarik ettiniz acaba?
Teşekkürler. Direk kendi siteleri var. “bigplaneskits” olarak bulabilirsiniz.
Now THAT is a beautiful model! Really nice!
Many thanks !!
Üstad yine mükemmel bir iscilik ortaya cikarmissin eline saglik
Çok teşekkür ederim. Çok uğraştırdı ama sonuç güzel. 👍
Amazing model kit and craftsmanship❤
Many thanks👍👍👍
I like your works.please build a F-16 !
Thanks a lot. F-16… why not 😉👍
@@ugurkenel looking forward 😍
Fantastic build - and an inspiration to start my kit when it finally arrives! Lots of useful tips - I will already put some super glue aside already as the BPK plastic is not the easiest to work with ...
Congratulations on a super model.
Many thanks!! @LucColin
I strongly recommend you that make a lot of dryfit before gluing fuselage and wings as i did. Need trimming, cutting, sanding… But in the end, you achieve the best possible harmony of parts.
Good luck on your build, and ask me whenever you need help via my other social accounts.
Fantastic work here, you did a great job, I've been waiting for my copy from the Ukraine. Cheers.
Many thansk !!!
Good luck on your build. Keep in mind that a lot of dryfit before gluing is essential for this model.
Your skill level in getting the fuselage to fit so perfectly is EXCEPTIONAL!!
Many thanks, most the hard works didnt recorded to not bore you 😉👍
how always, incredible work.
Just watch and take notes.
Many thanks, nice to know it works for you.👍
Nice AWAC plane!👍
Many thanks mate 😉🤝
Awesome model and impressive skills!
Many thanks! 🙏👍👍
Elinize kolunuza sağlık... Güzel bir çalışma olmuş.
Çok teşekkürler👍👍
Hiç kaçmaz hemen izlenir 👏👏👏👏

Make a model of a Brazilian Air Force plane pls
Why not.👍👍
finally, such a majestic and beautuful kit.
The final result is incredibe and your modelling skills never stop impressing me.
Who's the next plane on the bench?
Many thanks!
Next model is most probably Argentinian Mirage Dagger 48 scale. 😉
eline sağlık hocam
Çok teşekkürler👍
Beautiful build as always. Can I ask. What glue do you use for cementing the fuselage halves please?
Many thanks.
I always use (i mean %90 percent ) CA glue, name is Pattex ( red one ).
It dries in 10-15 second and very strong. Especially for these kind fuselage parts, it is only one option to use.
@@ugurkenel thank you for your kind reply 😊
Cheers😉👍
Fantastic! Beautifully built and a real pleasure to watch.
Very well done.
Many thanks!
I'm so glad to hear that!
Very nice! I do have a feeling that the photo etched parts you glued under the pilots' seats were meant to be unfolded as the seat mounts.
Thanks a lot!
It is cockpit seat rails, provides seat movement forward-back and to the side, to make pilots able stand up for exit. But all those details will never be seen anymore :)
A masterpiece! All the best for You! ;)
Many thanks ! Same for you :))
Impressive. Very nice model with excellent finish. Congrats.
Thank you very much!!
Beautiful video and superb building as usual! Congratulations !!
Many thanks !!
Magnifique, très beau montage, super 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thanks a lot🙏👍👍
Great job. When i lived in the state of Washington, one of my model meerings was at the Boeing Museum Of Flight just south of Seattle. Right next to the museum was the final.spot for this type of aircraft and the PO8 Poseiden. One day they had a bunch and it was fun figuring out where they were going. One day i saw aircraft going to India, Turkey, Britian, Saudi Arabia, Australia and Japan. Just a cool thing to see with all those brand new planes
Many thanks!
It must be very nice. I would like to be there and see it live.
Superb work and results. Remarkable
Thank you very much!!
very nice work. Did you make the panels with just pencil or did you use panel line?
Many thanks!
On this model, only drawing with pencil, no wash.
Which grey did you used?? Why didn't you used a normal oil wash? Awesome job!
I used Vallejo Model air 50/50 mix of “USAAF Light Gray”and “USAF Light Gray”. Names almost same but color are different.
I never use oil wash, i mostly use acrylic wash diluted with water. On this model: these TuAF planes are new and colors are super clean. If i apply anykind of wash, most probably, color of fuselage will be darken 1 or 2 degree.
Güzel çalışma 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Teşekkürler 👍👍🤝
Muaazzam bir iş olmuş elinize sağlık
Çok teşekkür ederim.
Great , thank you sir
Thanks😉🤝🤝
Peace Eagle for a war fighting machine? Doom Eagle would be more appropriate.
Magnificent workmanship

Thanks a lot ! 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻
Sehr gut geworden 👍👍👍
Thanks a lot👍👍
Excellent work!🍀
Many thanks🙏👍👍
It'd be cool if the E-7 had the anti-AA/SAM laser point defense system in development by Lockheed Martin mounted on them.
Yes indeed👍
well done, fantastic E-7, congrats
Thanks a lot !!
Beautiful work! I got some good ideas, watching your build.
Thanks a lot👍👍
Beautiful job.. 😍
Thank you👍
Excellent work!!!!
Thank you ! 👍👍
Beautiful result on a difficult kit.
Thank you very much 😉👍👍
Perfect work 👍
Thanks a lot!
🤩🏆💪👏👏👏
👍👍👍🤝
fantastic model
Many thanks!
Great Build! congratulations! does it fits inside of one of those small Ikea glass vitrine shelves?
Thanks! No. It is too big for that. Maximum 48 scale jets can fit in that shelves.
Where did you purchase the 3D printed cockpit seats from? Beautiful build sir! I just purchased a BPK 737 800 kit!
Many thanks!
These resin seats comes with this box. I think they added more spare resin parts on their new box.
Very nice model airplane but normally i love the Israeli Air Force IDF between Turkish & Israeli air forces. Between Turkish & Hebrew. Nice plane.
Thanks!
Harikasın!
Teşekkürler!
😏
👍
What 737 version would this be?
It is based on B737-700 but it is not converted from 700 version, produced as E-7, i mean structure of fuselage, wings, engines(generator sections) etc. different than 737-700.
@@ugurkenel ohh okay then I’ve been looking for a 737-300 1/72 but can’t find one and also wanted to know if you do commissions builds?
@osirisalvarez9323 bigplaneskits.com is selling 300 verson, you may check it on their website.
I have no time for commission build, sorry.

CA on clear parts, yikes. Did you treat them with floor polish or Just Like Glass from Perfect Plastic Products?
Not floor polish but i airbrushed clear varnish-smoke mix to the canopy. I also protect.
@@ugurkenel Thanks, Maestro.
