Great talk about hitting those "threshholds", definitely an interesting unit. It's similar to gates in that sense, but unlike the gate, it has greater per tankyness per gold but low damage. It's sort of a reverse gate, which needs protection and has very high damage

I played a few classics the other day, at 2000+ elo, everybody is playing lock-in crabomancer haha.
I ended playing 2 games with GuitarCheese and the man is building only crabomancers. :D

it does not, only 1 starcaller aura works. but you can magician a starcaller for double the aura power

I still don't fully get crabmancer as a unit. He's definitely terrible on impact waves like 2 /4. i think it is a situational unit like Gates that snowballs strength when you are ahead. But bad vs long starves or when behind
