The fact that this is an hour video breaking down ss4 shows that this season is literally the 2nd best season we’ve ever had. Also it shows that Izzy is putting all of his energy into making us happy.
For now the season is shaping up to be quite decent, most seasons of fall guy's are good at the start but fall off in quality near the later half, let's hope this season breaks that trend!
Hey Izzy, I just want to say that I absolutely love your analysis/discussion videos The ss2, ss3 and the worried about ss4 ones are all incredible, with this hour long one being no different, even being better No one else is doing this and Ive ALWAYS wanted to see videos like this with fall guys because they make some changes that no one talks about, but you go in depth so much here and it's just fascinating to watch I can tell that a ton of effort has gone into this and it's really payed off. This video is genuinely one of the best I've seen in a while and absolutely one of the most high quality videos I've seen in a long time Sorry for the long message lol
I just kept on adding and adding to the video as time went along, video was going to be like 47 minutes originally, felt like it was never going to end, and I didn't even mention everything which is crazy. This was just a great video, I never knew I needed an hour long fall guys ss4 video lol. Also as a part switch user, I can confirm that the skins do look a little shinier and nicer. Also the part with naming the changes with the credits was so random but funny lol😂
Heard the performance of the switch port has really improved according to other commenters, skins being shiner is a global change meaning every port sees them the same!

This video was a mess in terms of sections, at some points I had a structure but had to rerecord dialogue and add new voice over stuff and said screw it lmao, video was originally going to be 47 minutes, this was after the initial voice over was edited down too. Will say adding a new obstacle isn't a fix but more like an addition lmao.
If they ever brought back SS2 or space variations of original maps, their camera intros would go crazy. I can imagine that Low Gravity Full Tilt’s camera intro would be very stunning
Finally, the IzzyTorium movie On a real note this was an absolute treat to wake up to, probably my favourite video made by you. As regards to everything said about Creative, 1000 budget is a lot more than I thought unless your making obstacle heavy round where you’ll only have like 50 budget after your level is done, I personally don’t have too much of an issue with budget, I think it’s fine. Idk if this is a bug, but for SS2 rounds with shortened timers, the end of the intro music has some instruments missing (PS5) which is a shame cuz I really liked that part of the song. I completely agree that the new maps are generally bad, Square Up in particular sucks because it’s a RNG heavy and hard to catch up on round, the newer maps seem to have the same issue especially Prismatic Parade. One of the things I like doing is watching the credits after completing a Season Pass, I haven’t been playing much this season so I haven’t noticed how much longer the credits are, congrats to everyone who got promoted. Discovery is something that is genuinely needed and they fixed the publishing issues. One of my favourite features is being able to update old maps, I even made a whole level based on that mechanic (3090-0231-4557)
The maps just feel to samey, I do wish mediatonic made a few maps with unity or found a way to combine unity with creative mode so we'd get the best of both worlds but what can you do. I've made 2 maps and its super basic I wouldn't call them good lmao I just made them to test out creative and it was fun making them to be honest after an hour I got the hang of the controls. The new finale just feel to punishable especially firewall finale.
@@Izzytorium Agreed, they seem to be going for quality over quantity and are just adding anything that could be fun, I’ve seen many community maps better than the MT ones already, highlights include a Dragon Map, A house map, A Crane map, and A Cave map. I think the only way they could salvage this is to A) ignore bigger community member maps unless they are actually good, and B) highlight their favourite 50 maps in a single playlist at the end of the season for a week. I would like to try your maps out and potentially even rate and give feedback (people are starting to know me for that) if your ok with that.
Ok but are you ok man?? 😂 This was so in depth and we're not even that far into the season. Hope you took a nice long break after this lol. So.. I'm mixed on the new season. A lot of the updates you mentioned about what they've done to old maps like giving them some upgrades and improvements and stuff, I'm happy to see that. It was definitely needed and gives it a fresh new feeling, and I think the quickness between loading into a round helped with that too, almost changes the gaming style overall because you're not having to spend like 20 minutes on a solos round just to get blastball as the final lol. I also like the way they've arranged the new fame pass. You're right, everything feels smoother when using the interface. It's about time. That being said... I'm really worried about the future with the devs using the same creative mode... First of all, it's hard to deny the switch kind of ruined this game. The fact that SO many original maps are in the vault is insane to me. Maybe it was wishful thinking but I genuinely thought there would be more unvaulted. It feels like they've done basically nothing to work on those maps, and I personally don't feel like the new ones compare, at least not yet. Most of them are so bland and boring and almost all blend together. It's like see saw got depressed. The basic "digital" theme is in my opinion a way of getting out of giving much detail in the designs. There's a choice of pastel, pastel, or pastel. Cube, triangle or cone. 🥱 The ltm selection going down to basically one per week is kind of crazy to me after they had finally started doing 2. They seemed to have taken the criticism of "too many repetitive ltms" as "please give us less ltms at once with a longer span of time in between" 🙄 I think they thought people would be really into the creative modes and I do enjoy some of the player made ones but I play fall guys mainly for the original maps, and now solo show is mostly the new stuff. That's kind of boring in my opinion. Thinking about MT no longer working to fix their vaulted maps and only filling the game with the new stuff is so discouraging, so I like to think they'll EVENTUALLY get around to it..? Idk. Maybe I'm being too negative. I'm still playing the game anyway so it's definitely not too bad. Grear video man. And congrats on all the new subs. I look forward to more of your ss4 content. 🎉
Finished making this video on the 26th of May so definitely going to take a break lmao, Honestly them making LTM's weekly is a way to hide the fact that the they were getting repetitive, since the LTMs were getting rotated every few days its easier to notice the same ones popping up time and time again but now you won't notice it as much, at least the average Joe won't anyways, kinda smart not gonna lie. The new theme is kinda meh, however we don't have all the maps yet so maybe they could make some maps with the new that could be incredible but that could be wishful thinking on my part. @@Izzytorium No, the new theme really is just boring asf especially compared to old themes. That’s something I hate about newer FG seasons, yes their themes are higher quality but they’re so much less imaginative than older themes (excluding SS2). The Original theme was unique and colourful, the Medieval theme’s focus on purple was a fresh take, the Winter theme… exists? the Future theme has some genuinely interesting buildings and the circuit grass is imaginative, the Jungle theme is actually a lot more creative than on a surface level, especially those floating gems and totem poles, the Party theme is by far the most creative with the floaties, carnival rides, and that giant rollercoaster (though I kinda wish there was an actual cart in there). But now we just have a very basic Stadium, A dome which is kinda cool but also been done a lot for games that don’t want to do swimming mechanics and the Digital theme is by far the most boring, just a boring cyan skybox with some purple lines and reused (I think?) advertisements. SS2 was pretty nice though and the Halloween theme was a quite literal treat

What's funny is that this isn't all the changes, some of the vaulted maps changed which you can only access if you play "The Vault" LTM that's in customs I didn't do that cause those maps aren't in the base game lol. Definitely one of my best videos!

Yup Jukio Kallio is listed in the SS4 credits, I would've mentioned it if he wasn't! Also didn't know about the bug, I use a controller while playing so didn't notice it lol

We have encountered several glitches. 1: When I start my game it freezes up with the touch pad graphic and I have to restart. 2: Our dive buttons have failed on Tiltawhirl multiple times. 3: 3 times we've grabbed the crown on Fall Mountain and it said we won but on the results screen we didn't get the win. Thanks again for thoughtful and thorough information.

Great video once again ^^ i noticed this season, that a lot of times that i respawn on almost every map is that they respawn u turned around to the start , instead of the way u were going. Myself and others also had internet connections problems on the midle of the show or finals even worst. Other times the game just crashed and close the window game , but the sound of the level staid xD. I think they corrected this already, very rare now. Usually i dont have fun playing new season maps, they are boring , short, cps and so on.... as u already said. They must create a MAP of the day, that maps are selected on Clubs maded by users that subscribe to have acess and give acess to ohter club menbers. Easy way to find maps, i play a lot of trackmania and also create some maps. Thanks again cheeerssss
I've had the crash happen where the music is playing but the game isn't on quite a few times but with the 10.1.0. Update that doesn't happen to me anymore thankfully. Hopefully they add in some form of discovery for Creative asap!
14:44 Izzy basiclly the timer was added at the start of SS4 but removed temporarily so the patch notes refered to the timer coming back not at the start of the season
The longest video I've ever made in my UA-cam Carrer, had multiple failed channels before this one, and none of the videos length has come close to this one, also my most edited video as well! not going to lie and say I'm not nervous on how the video is going to perform haha
I tiny little addition I noticed that wasn’t mentioned in this vid was that the bollards in Roll Out and Roll Off now have bouncy physics. Granted, they don’t bounce you very far, you can tell they added this once you hear a sound effect

I didnt double check about squads or duos that u said BUT I double checked the solos maps AND we have 46 maps and if get out 3 maps which is bean hill zone , hoop scute and puzzle path we have 43 MAPS in Solos . I personally prefer NOT having Team Game Modes in Duos so if its the same maps as I said in Solos we have 46 maps in Duos as well . THATS , NOT , including the new 57 maps MT made in Creative so NOW we have more maps than we ever had before . By the end of the season we ll have 103 maps . IMAGINE when the Still Unvaulted rounds get UNVAULTED . We will have EVEN more than 103 maps which is INSANE ❤️ . Just somes corrections . GREAT video 💪🏼
Where did you get 46 from? When I said 37 maps I meant 37 regular maps and 20 maps are creator made maps, so 57 maps in total. As a switch player something new I’ve noticed this season is that switching tabs on the Home Screen is less laggy now. It used to pause, load, and then you could do stuff but now it’s so much faster.
When you were talking about the intro music carrying over to the countdown on HexR and HexT, they actually changed the audio to match the camera sequence.
I've noticed it in those 2 maps, in all the other maps it was the same as usual, so wasn't sure if it was an overall change or not, thanks for letting me know!
The best part of the new intro is that you can see the entire map on the span of 4-9 seconds! Also, as a fan of hex a terrestrial, the new wall on hex a terrestrial is way better and more intense. The reason they changed the slime's speed boost was because of the strat where you can get to the invissible wall(skip is still possible, just harder)
As a switch player, our notable differences are: Less crashes, game not entirely on life support now Overall better stability in terms of lag unless we're running on a hotspot Otherwise, it's more or less the same exact thing everyone else has. There's not much tech specific to our port that is present/is fixed, but the one I frequently see and use myself is jump-diving on flat slime floors

43:10 OMG, that's what I needed. I build my levels on PC, but half of the time I had to use my keyboard and controller. I mainly use my controller on PC, so when I reset my keybinds, it fixed the issue as well on PC
There's a few little things that I have noticed this season. -Notice the 15 upward punchers variant in Tundra Run? I remembered that some of the punchers were not lined up properly. Now, they did align all the punchers this season. Just a minor detail. - This is in custom show but when I played Xtreme Party alone yesterday, Hoverboard Heroes (a vaulted round) was still in that show! I'm guessing they never changed the round pool? Also, what the heck happened to the pinball flippers near the finish? They move slower now and I'm not getting flung as far as before. So, that's probably why they vaulted it. -Slime Climb in regular Squads... one time I wasn't in the slime nor even reached the finish line. The round was awkwardly over. I know this might've been the same as Xtreme Squads but I think it's a bug. -I think they changed The Swiveller a bit with the variant when the platform doesn't move. I think the fan got slower rather than normal because I timed out on that variant this season. I think that's about it. Although, the season looks great, I've been getting so much disconnections throughout the game. :P
I haven't gotten the swiv variant this season, I did get it once in SS3 and it was a lot more difficult then I thought it be so good on them for slowing the fan down. I never noticed the 15 punchers being misaligned before, good catch!
20:06 --> I've also noticed that the booster in speed slider slows you down at first, however, if you take it from a side (you have to be at one of the edges of it), it won't slow you (at least it doesn't for me).
I've watched the whole video and it was amazing! Other than the credits part, the whole video was great, I've learned alot of things. Blastlantis as an example, I didn't know a single change before u listed them, so that's awesome.
Well it is a 1 hour video so not there are going to be parts you feel meh or don't enjoy but glad you liked the majority of it! And if you came out learning something you didn't know then that's a sign of a good video.
It hurts so much that still we only have 2 maps from SS2 Hex - A - Terrestrial and Pixel Painters. I was hoping we gould get the return of Starchart and the squad/duos exclusive final Tip Toe Finale. Hope that at some point SS2 gets justice
27:30, the reason on why you'll still have the boost at the end is because they increased the temporarily speed timer, i think before it was 5 seconds but now they've increased it a little, i noticed this while playing track attack, but i could be wrong tho
Was a challenge making this one, it was originally 47 minutes but extended it as I learned more about the season and its changes, was going to upload this a few days ago but thought to wait till the weekend to give the video more time to shine, just hope it was worth the trouble lol
I think the bigger reason that 360 dives were removed completely and not given to everyone was because its simply not an intuitive mechanic. This game is meant for everyone and especially with the introduction of creative race finals with slime slides, it would suck to be a casual player watching others doing weird movements on the slides and gaining a lot more speed than you, and you would have no idea how or what they were doing
Didn't think about it that way, Joe Walsh one of the lead designers of fall guys did make a post saying if they should make it a feature or not so it was on the table but seems like it wouldn't be feasible.
@@Izzytorium I suppose it does make sense, If a kid or a bean with deep skill issue plays the game, they most likely not be able to take full advantage of the movement, and with complicated move like the 360 dives, it's essentially just not very noob friendly isn't it?
I don't even know if they've changed anything on Lost Temple, but one thing is the same for me for sure. A stutter to an instant Disqualification due to beans getting a headstart while I would freeze for a microsecond every a couple of seconds or so. I think it still happens to me due to the amount of obstacles is happening but then again is likely the case for most older laptops
@@IzzytoriumOh it happens to me ever since the start of SS5. I think it really hurted my opportunity to get a crown back in pre f2p era especially since Lost Temple was a common finale. But to be fair, it's likely just my old gaming laptop's case having thermal throttling issues as well power throttling issues (Laptop lacking enough power consumption) According to the GPU-Z monitoring tool I did remember saying this in your Discord server about this issue I've had and tried fixing it eventually by removing thermal throttles with CPU undervolting, Jet Engine Loud Cooling Accessories and adding a battery after realizing it also needed more power. In the end it still lacked power so very demanding places with many resources like Lost Temple causes huge stutters. I do admit that lessening the player count overall to 40 really helped with overall performance and the changes in the color pallette in most Old maps really gives it that smooth performance placebo unless those simpler colors actually made fg smoother for potato pc and switch players alike.
Definitely one of the longest videos I've made! My all 60 FG maps video is a compilation video so I don't really count that tbh, but this is the first time I've edited a video this massive, lost my mind my a few times at the sheer length of it 🤣 but got through it in the end, was well worth the effort imo.
Saw another comment on switch differences, so ill name some ones I've seen myself: - Game Lag while switching menus seems to have dimmed very down - The glitch where you couldnt see other beans outfits has been slightly fixed, since the outfits load faster - Creative and maps actually seem to run pretty smooth from my experience - Game stays at a constant 30FPS on SOME maps now i havent played much on switch, so i may update this later
i havent played much of the new season yet, but from what is mentioned in this video it seems like an alright update. im glad the intros for a lot of levels have been shortened, because im impatient and always thought they were a bit unnecessarily long. creative mode is great, but like you said in the video its a shame you cant find people's levels without a code and i hope something will be implemented soon to change that. as for the new maps added, i think theyre fine but to be entirely honest they dont feel like normal levels, im not sure what it is but they feel weird. they arent bad, just seems out of place imo (but i havent played them much yet so maybe my opinion will change once i play more) anyway great video i really like the long content
Them being in the sky and having stuff basic blocks and not unique items crafted to fit the level is kinda the thing that makes the level feel a little off at least to me anyways, but some maps have exceed my expectations not gonna lie, especially the creator made ones like boom blaster trials and tornado trials for example both are hard maps but I enjoy the challenge.
49:38 It was true. For the patterns on the switch, every pattern before ss3 was in low quality, so anything that was from ss3 was in normal quality. And that was patched in ss4. 2:30 The likely reason why those 2 rounds were vaulted was because of a glitch with wormholes that kept sending you back to the wormhole after you go in it. (Mostly when the player has desync) For the elimination board, there’s now Xs on the eliminated boxes, added in ss4. 11:31 I watched a new video and you can still get on the arch, but now it bounces you like a bollard to make it harder to stay on. 14:36 This caused a new bug that allows you to stand on the hexagons without disappearing when the wall reaches the smallest point. 22:02 It was like this in The Vault show in customs in ss3. 29:18 This sound already existed in the game since ss3, but it never made the sound on hexagon tiles or rollers at the time. --------------- *Switch Port Only:* When you make a creative round and publish the round, it shows an error message and says it wasn’t saved, and when you exit, it doesn’t show the “under moderation” icon. But it’s actually saved in the game, just not visually. (Still not patched) --------------- One strange thing that happened to me 2 weeks ago this season was that I actually got my Switch to run at 60FPS on a TV, instead of 30. I was trying to write the description of a Creative round on handheld, and then when I connected it back to the TV, it loaded for a few seconds and then it was boosted up to 60FPS, with higher brightness than usual. I’m not sure how and why this happened, but I then played it for a few hours, and 0 issues happened while playing at 60FPS. When I played it the next day it went back to 30FPS. @@StarCheesyNever noticed the sound while diving in SS3, guess its cause my SFX is set pretty low but good to hear it wasn't in Hex and Roll Off so I wasnt completely wrong lol. Switch at 60 isn't something I thought was possible, so interesting to hear and that you had no issues as well.
I did get something wrong and that's 360 diving is still in the game, and you can go up the arch in Blastlantis but you'll start to bounce and can't stay ontop of it but all things considered going up the arch isn't viable now. Nontheless glad you enjoyed the video!
At around 23:40 when you were talking about thin ice not being in the game the actual reason it wasn’t in the game was because the intro was going off to the side of the map into nowhere. I still don’t understand how that was a big enough glitch to get them to remove it
I heard that puzzle path and hoop chute were vaulted because of issues with the wormholes. And those two were some of my favorite maps in the game so I'm sad they're gone.
Another comment said the same thing, I just thought they got rid of them cause the game already has too many race maps but after further inspection that reasoning is stupid. A glitch makes more sense.
also 360's are not removed and they are onyl nerfed so they don't give as much speed. My ps4 friend say he can 360 now and i for some reason can 360 with 60 fps. Idk if they made 360 for everyone. Also blast lantis arch now ragdol and bounce you so its harder to stay there
That reminds me I have to make my end of Season video about SS4, guess at this point I'll just wait for when the season turns a year old and do a retrospective video on it I suppose.
SS4 ended when they stopped doing season's aka the 10.3.0. update but yeah you could make the argument that 11.0.0. would be the "end" of SS4, I just think releasing the video on its 1-year anniversary would do well in terms of views, people love that kind of stuff, ya know?
37:40 so even in SS5, SS6, etc all we're gonna see are creative rounds? If so I'm really annoyed about that. The Unity maps just have a certain feel to it. While Creative maps feel really clunky.
With the way Joe Walsh worded it during the creative construction broadcast he said they would use creative to make the maps going forward so would have to assume future seasons would use map maker, all the maps for SS4 will be made in creative. Oh yeah Joe Walsh is the lead developer, pretty prominent figure in the fall guys scene.
I don't know if it's only me or not but I think there are other things has changed in hex-a-terrestrial as well. Sometimes when you walk or jump dive you can accidentally touch the nearby tiles much easier than before. I'm pretty sure only hex-a-terrestrial has this issue because when I played hex-a-gone I can jump dive without touching the nearby tiles.
Well _technically_ I didn't lol, the builder is the yellow hat and I wear the worker skin which is the pink hat. Will be mooching off there sucess either way 🤭
Mostly I like SS1 to SS3 introduction, because it's easy to see where some obstacles are in the map. In SS4 the introduction is very fast, where people can't see where they need to go, but unless if some other players know they will follow them, also there is some SS3 introduction from another maps too.
I suppose, however after playing the maps a few times you know where everything is, and let's be honest some of these intros were way to long like leading light for example.
IIRC, hex-a-terrestrial is the only SS2 round to have it's intro music ALOT changed in sound effects and is much shorter so it doesn't carry to the countdown sequence, so i never noticed the same music in the 23:08 part, however the camera is correct.
Pixel Painters & Hex A Terrestrial are currently the only 2 maps in the game, I haven't played the vault show that's in customs but yeah HAT intro is the only to change, Pixel Painters still has the same intro.
An hour of fall guys changes, gotta give the man a party for making a video this long about what has changed from ss2/ss3 to ss4. Lets hope there are still bugs that will be patched. Also it is good for cabined accounts to make a level but not publishing, and not been able to play players maps in custom lobbies.
Wait cabined accounts aren't able to play other players maps? that's quite odd, you just need to paste a code in, but I guess they don't want kids going online trying to find maps to play and coming across weird content, that's just my guess.

I often think that S8/SS2 was the game's most ambitious to date with it's massive and innovative maps, basically hitting its scope peak, and things could've gone just right if released when the game was still in only 2 platforms. I guess the new technical issues that emerged when going multiplatform and later with the release of S8 is what caused most of the cut corners (with those specific S8 maps being the first to leave) and change of direction in the general scope with longer seasons, Creative, map rotation, etc. Add this to MT getting allegedly understaffed too, and we've been left with the infamous content drought all while Creative was still being worked on. So I'm not very mad about all of these issues since the core gameplay is at least still very fun. It's just that the lack of communication from the devs or publisher is indeed leaving many players baffled. Anyway, many are concerned that future developer maps won't stack up to the originals because of Creative's current limitations, but I think proper judgement/comparison should be reserved by the time more features and modes get added. Think it like a Mario Maker situation, its initial release compared to now in MM2 post-updates feels like something more limited and far less complex. But yeah, I wish the best for FG since it's the most fun, carefree and cozy game I've seen in a long time, and custom maps should indeed leave it with plenty of stuff to do (a lot of them fill a single player FG niche btw). We just have to wait and see how this new tool gets expanded / improved and how the rest of the game moves forward.
Definitely, SS2 was ambitious and don't think we'll get a season like it, which is a shame I did like most of the maps just the way they handled things was what made me not like the season. I'm going to wait and let them cook before I make any judgements on creative mode, I did enjoy using it which is a good thing as the foundation won't change so having a good foundation is necessary, it's not difficult creating, a bit of a learning curve but after an hour I got the hang of things.
Well not every change unfortunately haha, feels like I did but I missed quite a few like stompin grounds where the rhino will do its dash attack while on the disc whereas before it would do a light thrust. Might make a follow up to this one but that's still something I'm thinking about and not set in stone. The credits was something I thought of doing at the last minute during the scripting phase and knew it was going to be a long video just not an hour long 😂 we'll anyways thank you for the love, really appreciate it Frost
@@Izzytorium I think also 1 more thing missed Tiles in hex a terrestrial used to delay in fading based on your ping Now they fade immediately at all times when stepping on them (if you ever had ping issue in that level 😅)
@@Izzytorium well, I play with potato internet and my ping is nearly always between 90 to 120 ms on eu server (it has the best performance for me) On hex a terrestrial, tiles used to have a little bit delay for me while stepping on them, nearly 0.3 to 0.5 sec unlike hex a gone and hex a ring, even sometimes used to play on us server with +200ms ping and it delayed even more. On ss4 all 3 hex rounds feel same at least for me, beacuse they all fade as soon as I step on them
Just to make sure I understand this, if you had bad ping and step on a tile in Hex A Terrestrial it wouldn't crumble right away? But with the season 4 update it does?

10:00 Nope, 360 dives are still in the game, you can even do them with 60 fps. You just need slanted Lillys, that are slanted in the direction you are moving. You can make the setup in creative, you just have to spam-dive, and eventually, you will get it.
Huh interesting, only place I see slanted lily pads is in the ending part of the map, but that can change depending on the variant. The 5 side to side pad variant is probably what you're talking about that's also the default variant. According to the patch notes Previously, players were able to exploit FPS on a computer and get “speed boosts” when using drums on levels like Lily Leapers. We have significantly reduced the ability to do this. Thought they didn't want to say they patched it to suppress outrage but it seems like they just reduced it, any speed differences with 360?
@@Izzytorium I discovered 360 dives on a Creative map, where the Lillys are in one line. Idk if this works on Official maps. But I got a speedboost from the 360. I was just holding forward and slightly touched the right button and my Bean made a 360 dive. Very strange. But I could not do this every time I tried, maybe because this is frame perfect. And sometimes my Bean made this 90 degree dive, that you can see on some Speedruns. From that 90 degree dive I also got a speedboost.
51:30 The cool thing about playing on pc is that you can watch Videos while the game is loading. Therefore I don't get affected that much by loooooong Loading times
There is a bug in Full Tilt X when it's a late Round with 3-4 Squads that should qualify it can sometime happen that the person that came first wins the game and also hus Squad even if there are people from other teams left

With multiple show selection it would be random on what show you would get, with this new show selector you have to change shows manually which is just one step.

43:22 On PC, you got very strange keybinds, like the Esc menu on the button G, but the play button was also on G, so could not test your map unless you pressed publish. But after resetting the keybinds, everything was normal again
Mediatonic fixed a Bug where if you go to the Controller key binds, it would softlock you, if there wasn't a Controller connected. This was a thing since SS1. If you got softlocked, you had to force quit (alt+F4) the game.
Explains why I can sometimes see the player cap and sometimes I can't. Most of the time it shows the 1 number for me, very interesting thanks for letting me know that. In SS3 and prior it would always show 2 numbers.
How do you feel about server owl lying about ski fall, roll ON and slimecraper being "unvaulted". I was so excited to play slimescraper because i hadn't played it since SS1, but for 1 week straight in DUOS i had NO LUCK. it so unfortunate they lie about maps being unvaulted (BTW: good on you for a 1 hour video!)
As mentioned in the video not the first time they did this sweet Thieves was unvaulted at the start of SS3 but got vaulted mid way due to people going into dead servers and farming wins, they didn't tweet saying it was gone. Could've been a mistake listing those maps but they should've corrected it as soon as possible just feels scummy to me not gonna lie.

Honestly this was somewhat of a good idea on MT's part but it definetely confused people as they never explained how it worked. I mean logically when you see a bomb you go "ok throw it near the player for most knockback/damage", when it does the opposite of that you go "what" *(Theory part, take it with a grain of salt)* I think this was also to make Blastlantis more intense, the arena is so big and have so many safe zones that its even harder to knock out people. It's not impossible but certainly harder than it is in Blast Ball. While it wastes less time (a good thing in general), they look like last minute additions. I wish they just sped up the intros they had by 2x or maybe 1.5x instead of making new intros that kinda look meh This is nitpicking yes, but i kinda miss the charm they had like "here's what this round looks like". IT DOESNT EVEN STOP ON THE ROUND IT PICKS. 23:37 I have Lithium (Level Loader) (previously known as Frantic Explorer, by kota) I can confirm that you were not able to dive slide on Thin Ice tiles in SS3, i guess Thin Ice was just vaulted for the sake of vaulting. I can talk for hours about creative made levels but TLDR This game will be ruined if they keep making levels within Creative. They are nice but they DO NOT MATCH UP to the unity made levels, even best of the best rounds in Creative are no match for what they made in the past. I do not like ANY of the finals, they are not difficult but they are too punishing.
According to a commenter thin ice was vaulted cause the intro cam sequence was broken, it wouldn't show the map and go off somewhere else, can't confirm this and it was only 1 guy who commented that so I'd take it with a grain of salt, good to know that you couldn't dive on the tiles in SS3, did say it was my theory as I wasn't sure and thought dive sliding was why it was vaulted. As for the cutest friend skin mediatonic made a blog post and it said this. "Hello Kitty is not alone in the ‘dome. We’ve crafted the Cutest Friend Costume, a Hello Kitty-inspired Outfit that players can unlock through the free progression path." The fact that this is an hour video breaking down ss4 shows that this season is literally the 2nd best season we’ve ever had. Also it shows that Izzy is putting all of his energy into making us happy.
For now the season is shaping up to be quite decent, most seasons of fall guy's are good at the start but fall off in quality near the later half, let's hope this season breaks that trend!

This video was a mess in terms of sections, at some points I had a structure but had to rerecord dialogue and add new voice over stuff and said screw it lmao, video was originally going to be 47 minutes, this was after the initial voice over was edited down too. Will say adding a new obstacle isn't a fix but more like an addition lmao.

On a real note this was an absolute treat to wake up to, probably my favourite video made by you.
As regards to everything said about Creative, 1000 budget is a lot more than I thought unless your making obstacle heavy round where you’ll only have like 50 budget after your level is done, I personally don’t have too much of an issue with budget, I think it’s fine. Idk if this is a bug, but for SS2 rounds with shortened timers, the end of the intro music has some instruments missing (PS5) which is a shame cuz I really liked that part of the song. I completely agree that the new maps are generally bad, Square Up in particular sucks because it’s a RNG heavy and hard to catch up on round, the newer maps seem to have the same issue especially Prismatic Parade. One of the things I like doing is watching the credits after completing a Season Pass, I haven’t been playing much this season so I haven’t noticed how much longer the credits are, congrats to everyone who got promoted. Discovery is something that is genuinely needed and they fixed the publishing issues. One of my favourite features is being able to update old maps, I even made a whole level based on that mechanic (3090-0231-4557)
The maps just feel to samey, I do wish mediatonic made a few maps with unity or found a way to combine unity with creative mode so we'd get the best of both worlds but what can you do. I've made 2 maps and its super basic I wouldn't call them good lmao I just made them to test out creative and it was fun making them to be honest after an hour I got the hang of the controls. The new finale just feel to punishable especially firewall finale.
@@Izzytorium Agreed, they seem to be going for quality over quantity and are just adding anything that could be fun, I’ve seen many community maps better than the MT ones already, highlights include a Dragon Map, A house map, A Crane map, and A Cave map. I think the only way they could salvage this is to A) ignore bigger community member maps unless they are actually good, and B) highlight their favourite 50 maps in a single playlist at the end of the season for a week. I would like to try your maps out and potentially even rate and give feedback (people are starting to know me for that) if your ok with that.

So.. I'm mixed on the new season. A lot of the updates you mentioned about what they've done to old maps like giving them some upgrades and improvements and stuff, I'm happy to see that. It was definitely needed and gives it a fresh new feeling, and I think the quickness between loading into a round helped with that too, almost changes the gaming style overall because you're not having to spend like 20 minutes on a solos round just to get blastball as the final lol. I also like the way they've arranged the new fame pass. You're right, everything feels smoother when using the interface. It's about time.
That being said... I'm really worried about the future with the devs using the same creative mode... First of all, it's hard to deny the switch kind of ruined this game. The fact that SO many original maps are in the vault is insane to me. Maybe it was wishful thinking but I genuinely thought there would be more unvaulted. It feels like they've done basically nothing to work on those maps, and I personally don't feel like the new ones compare, at least not yet. Most of them are so bland and boring and almost all blend together. It's like see saw got depressed. The basic "digital" theme is in my opinion a way of getting out of giving much detail in the designs. There's a choice of pastel, pastel, or pastel. Cube, triangle or cone. 🥱
The ltm selection going down to basically one per week is kind of crazy to me after they had finally started doing 2. They seemed to have taken the criticism of "too many repetitive ltms" as "please give us less ltms at once with a longer span of time in between" 🙄 I think they thought people would be really into the creative modes and I do enjoy some of the player made ones but I play fall guys mainly for the original maps, and now solo show is mostly the new stuff. That's kind of boring in my opinion.
Thinking about MT no longer working to fix their vaulted maps and only filling the game with the new stuff is so discouraging, so I like to think they'll EVENTUALLY get around to it..? Idk. Maybe I'm being too negative. I'm still playing the game anyway so it's definitely not too bad.

Finished making this video on the 26th of May so definitely going to take a break lmao, Honestly them making LTM's weekly is a way to hide the fact that the they were getting repetitive, since the LTMs were getting rotated every few days its easier to notice the same ones popping up time and time again but now you won't notice it as much, at least the average Joe won't anyways, kinda smart not gonna lie. The new theme is kinda meh, however we don't have all the maps yet so maybe they could make some maps with the new that could be incredible but that could be wishful thinking on my part. @@Izzytorium No, the new theme really is just boring asf especially compared to old themes. That’s something I hate about newer FG seasons, yes their themes are higher quality but they’re so much less imaginative than older themes (excluding SS2). The Original theme was unique and colourful, the Medieval theme’s focus on purple was a fresh take, the Winter theme… exists? the Future theme has some genuinely interesting buildings and the circuit grass is imaginative, the Jungle theme is actually a lot more creative than on a surface level, especially those floating gems and totem poles, the Party theme is by far the most creative with the floaties, carnival rides, and that giant rollercoaster (though I kinda wish there was an actual cart in there). But now we just have a very basic Stadium, A dome which is kinda cool but also been done a lot for games that don’t want to do swimming mechanics and the Digital theme is by far the most boring, just a boring cyan skybox with some purple lines and reused (I think?) advertisements. SS2 was pretty nice though and the Halloween theme was a quite literal treat

1: When I start my game it freezes up with the touch pad graphic and I have to restart.
2: Our dive buttons have failed on Tiltawhirl multiple times.
3: 3 times we've grabbed the crown on Fall Mountain and it said we won but on the results screen we didn't get the win.

Great video once again ^^ i noticed this season, that a lot of times that i respawn on almost every map is that they respawn u turned around to the start , instead of the way u were going. Myself and others also had internet connections problems on the midle of the show or finals even worst. Other times the game just crashed and close the window game , but the sound of the level staid xD. I think they corrected this already, very rare now. Usually i dont have fun playing new season maps, they are boring , short, cps and so on.... as u already said. They must create a MAP of the day, that maps are selected on Clubs maded by users that subscribe to have acess and give acess to ohter club menbers. Easy way to find maps, i play a lot of trackmania and also create some maps. Thanks again cheeerssss
I've had the crash happen where the music is playing but the game isn't on quite a few times but with the 10.1.0. Update that doesn't happen to me anymore thankfully. Hopefully they add in some form of discovery for Creative asap!

I tiny little addition I noticed that wasn’t mentioned in this vid was that the bollards in Roll Out and Roll Off now have bouncy physics. Granted, they don’t bounce you very far, you can tell they added this once you hear a sound effect

I didnt double check about squads or duos that u said BUT I double checked the solos maps AND we have 46 maps and if get out 3 maps which is bean hill zone , hoop scute and puzzle path we have 43 MAPS in Solos . I personally prefer NOT having Team Game Modes in Duos so if its the same maps as I said in Solos we have 46 maps in Duos as well . THATS , NOT , including the new 57 maps MT made in Creative so NOW we have more maps than we ever had before . By the end of the season we ll have 103 maps . IMAGINE when the Still Unvaulted rounds get UNVAULTED . We will have EVEN more than 103 maps which is INSANE ❤️ . Just somes corrections . GREAT video 💪🏼
Where did you get 46 from? When I said 37 maps I meant 37 regular maps and 20 maps are creator made maps, so 57 maps in total. Here's a tweet from an official FG page that lists all the levels currently in the game. Do note that slimescraper, Ski Fall & Roll Out are not in the game even though they said it was.

As a switch player something new I’ve noticed this season is that switching tabs on the Home Screen is less laggy now. It used to pause, load, and then you could do stuff but now it’s so much faster.

When you were talking about the intro music carrying over to the countdown on HexR and HexT, they actually changed the audio to match the camera sequence.
I've noticed it in those 2 maps, in all the other maps it was the same as usual, so wasn't sure if it was an overall change or not, thanks for letting me know!

The best part of the new intro is that you can see the entire map on the span of 4-9 seconds!
Also, as a fan of hex a terrestrial, the new wall on hex a terrestrial is way better and more intense.
The reason they changed the slime's speed boost was because of the strat where you can get to the invissible wall(skip is still possible, just harder)
I remember watching a speedrun of someone getting on the invisible wall, was quite funny not gonna lie but yeah I can see why they did that now.
As a switch player, our notable differences are:
Less crashes, game not entirely on life support now
Overall better stability in terms of lag unless we're running on a hotspot
Otherwise, it's more or less the same exact thing everyone else has. There's not much tech specific to our port that is present/is fixed, but the one I frequently see and use myself is jump-diving on flat slime floors

43:10 OMG, that's what I needed. I build my levels on PC, but half of the time I had to use my keyboard and controller. I mainly use my controller on PC, so when I reset my keybinds, it fixed the issue as well on PC

There's a few little things that I have noticed this season.
-Notice the 15 upward punchers variant in Tundra Run? I remembered that some of the punchers were not lined up properly. Now, they did align all the punchers this season. Just a minor detail.
- This is in custom show but when I played Xtreme Party alone yesterday, Hoverboard Heroes (a vaulted round) was still in that show! I'm guessing they never changed the round pool? Also, what the heck happened to the pinball flippers near the finish? They move slower now and I'm not getting flung as far as before. So, that's probably why they vaulted it.
-Slime Climb in regular Squads... one time I wasn't in the slime nor even reached the finish line. The round was awkwardly over. I know this might've been the same as Xtreme Squads but I think it's a bug.
-I think they changed The Swiveller a bit with the variant when the platform doesn't move. I think the fan got slower rather than normal because I timed out on that variant this season.
I think that's about it. Although, the season looks great, I've been getting so much disconnections throughout the game. :P
I haven't gotten the swiv variant this season, I did get it once in SS3 and it was a lot more difficult then I thought it be so good on them for slowing the fan down. I never noticed the 15 punchers being misaligned before, good catch!

20:06 --> I've also noticed that the booster in speed slider slows you down at first, however, if you take it from a side (you have to be at one of the edges of it), it won't slow you (at least it doesn't for me).
So be at the side of the boost and it won't slow you down? Will have to try it out, could see it being patched though lol.

27:30, the reason on why you'll still have the boost at the end is because they increased the temporarily speed timer, i think before it was 5 seconds but now they've increased it a little, i noticed this while playing track attack, but i could be wrong tho

Was a challenge making this one, it was originally 47 minutes but extended it as I learned more about the season and its changes, was going to upload this a few days ago but thought to wait till the weekend to give the video more time to shine, just hope it was worth the trouble lol
I think the bigger reason that 360 dives were removed completely and not given to everyone was because its simply not an intuitive mechanic. This game is meant for everyone and especially with the introduction of creative race finals with slime slides, it would suck to be a casual player watching others doing weird movements on the slides and gaining a lot more speed than you, and you would have no idea how or what they were doing
Didn't think about it that way, Joe Walsh one of the lead designers of fall guys did make a post saying if they should make it a feature or not so it was on the table but seems like it wouldn't be feasible.
@@Izzytorium I suppose it does make sense, If a kid or a bean with deep skill issue plays the game, they most likely not be able to take full advantage of the movement, and with complicated move like the 360 dives, it's essentially just not very noob friendly isn't it?

I don't even know if they've changed anything on Lost Temple, but one thing is the same for me for sure. A stutter to an instant Disqualification due to beans getting a headstart while I would freeze for a microsecond every a couple of seconds or so.
I think it still happens to me due to the amount of obstacles is happening but then again is likely the case for most older laptops

@@IzzytoriumOh it happens to me ever since the start of SS5. I think it really hurted my opportunity to get a crown back in pre f2p era especially since Lost Temple was a common finale.
But to be fair, it's likely just my old gaming laptop's case having thermal throttling issues as well power throttling issues (Laptop lacking enough power consumption) According to the GPU-Z monitoring tool
I did remember saying this in your Discord server about this issue I've had and tried fixing it eventually by removing thermal throttles with CPU undervolting, Jet Engine Loud Cooling Accessories and adding a battery after realizing it also needed more power. In the end it still lacked power so very demanding places with many resources like Lost Temple causes huge stutters.
I do admit that lessening the player count overall to 40 really helped with overall performance and the changes in the color pallette in most Old maps really gives it that smooth performance placebo unless those simpler colors actually made fg smoother for potato pc and switch players alike.

Couldn't give more in depth explanations on some of the changes cause of lack of info and time but I tried my best to make it as detailed as possible!
Saw another comment on switch differences, so ill name some ones I've seen myself:
- Game Lag while switching menus seems to have dimmed very down
- The glitch where you couldnt see other beans outfits has been slightly fixed, since the outfits load faster
- Creative and maps actually seem to run pretty smooth from my experience
- Game stays at a constant 30FPS on SOME maps now

i havent played much of the new season yet, but from what is mentioned in this video it seems like an alright update. im glad the intros for a lot of levels have been shortened, because im impatient and always thought they were a bit unnecessarily long. creative mode is great, but like you said in the video its a shame you cant find people's levels without a code and i hope something will be implemented soon to change that. as for the new maps added, i think theyre fine but to be entirely honest they dont feel like normal levels, im not sure what it is but they feel weird. they arent bad, just seems out of place imo (but i havent played them much yet so maybe my opinion will change once i play more)

Them being in the sky and having stuff basic blocks and not unique items crafted to fit the level is kinda the thing that makes the level feel a little off at least to me anyways, but some maps have exceed my expectations not gonna lie, especially the creator made ones like boom blaster trials and tornado trials for example both are hard maps but I enjoy the challenge.
49:38 It was true. For the patterns on the switch, every pattern before ss3 was in low quality, so anything that was from ss3 was in normal quality. And that was patched in ss4.
2:30 The likely reason why those 2 rounds were vaulted was because of a glitch with wormholes that kept sending you back to the wormhole after you go in it. (Mostly when the player has desync)
For the elimination board, there’s now Xs on the eliminated boxes, added in ss4.
11:31 I watched a new video and you can still get on the arch, but now it bounces you like a bollard to make it harder to stay on.
14:36 This caused a new bug that allows you to stand on the hexagons without disappearing when the wall reaches the smallest point.
22:02 It was like this in The Vault show in customs in ss3.
29:18 This sound already existed in the game since ss3, but it never made the sound on hexagon tiles or rollers at the time.

When you make a creative round and publish the round, it shows an error message and says it wasn’t saved, and when you exit, it doesn’t show the “under moderation” icon. But it’s actually saved in the game, just not visually. (Still not patched)

One strange thing that happened to me 2 weeks ago this season was that I actually got my Switch to run at 60FPS on a TV, instead of 30.
I was trying to write the description of a Creative round on handheld, and then when I connected it back to the TV, it loaded for a few seconds and then it was boosted up to 60FPS, with higher brightness than usual.
I’m not sure how and why this happened, but I then played it for a few hours, and 0 issues happened while playing at 60FPS. When I played it the next day it went back to 30FPS.

At around 23:40 when you were talking about thin ice not being in the game the actual reason it wasn’t in the game was because the intro was going off to the side of the map into nowhere. I still don’t understand how that was a big enough glitch to get them to remove it

I heard that puzzle path and hoop chute were vaulted because of issues with the wormholes. And those two were some of my favorite maps in the game so I'm sad they're gone.
Another comment said the same thing, I just thought they got rid of them cause the game already has too many race maps but after further inspection that reasoning is stupid. A glitch makes more sense.

also 360's are not removed and they are onyl nerfed so they don't give as much speed. My ps4 friend say he can 360 now and i for some reason can 360 with 60 fps. Idk if they made 360 for everyone.
Also blast lantis arch now ragdol and bounce you so its harder to stay there

37:40 so even in SS5, SS6, etc all we're gonna see are creative rounds? If so I'm really annoyed about that. The Unity maps just have a certain feel to it. While Creative maps feel really clunky.
With the way Joe Walsh worded it during the creative construction broadcast he said they would use creative to make the maps going forward so would have to assume future seasons would use map maker, all the maps for SS4 will be made in creative.
Oh yeah Joe Walsh is the lead developer, pretty prominent figure in the fall guys scene.
I don't know if it's only me or not but I think there are other things has changed in hex-a-terrestrial as well. Sometimes when you walk or jump dive you can accidentally touch the nearby tiles much easier than before. I'm pretty sure only hex-a-terrestrial has this issue because when I played hex-a-gone I can jump dive without touching the nearby tiles.
I haven't tried that myself actually so can't validate the claim, was able to slow dive on HAT before SS4, do assume it's a bug.

Mostly I like SS1 to SS3 introduction, because it's easy to see where some obstacles are in the map.
In SS4 the introduction is very fast, where people can't see where they need to go, but unless if some other players know they will follow them, also there is some SS3 introduction from another maps too.
I'm also glad that Fall Mountain is back!
I suppose, however after playing the maps a few times you know where everything is, and let's be honest some of these intros were way to long like leading light for example.
IIRC, hex-a-terrestrial is the only SS2 round to have it's intro music ALOT changed in sound effects and is much shorter so it doesn't carry to the countdown sequence, so i never noticed the same music in the 23:08 part, however the camera is correct.
Pixel Painters & Hex A Terrestrial are currently the only 2 maps in the game, I haven't played the vault show that's in customs but yeah HAT intro is the only to change, Pixel Painters still has the same intro.

Wait cabined accounts aren't able to play other players maps? that's quite odd, you just need to paste a code in, but I guess they don't want kids going online trying to find maps to play and coming across weird content, that's just my guess.

I often think that S8/SS2 was the game's most ambitious to date with it's massive and innovative maps, basically hitting its scope peak, and things could've gone just right if released when the game was still in only 2 platforms. I guess the new technical issues that emerged when going multiplatform and later with the release of S8 is what caused most of the cut corners (with those specific S8 maps being the first to leave) and change of direction in the general scope with longer seasons, Creative, map rotation, etc. Add this to MT getting allegedly understaffed too, and we've been left with the infamous content drought all while Creative was still being worked on. So I'm not very mad about all of these issues since the core gameplay is at least still very fun. It's just that the lack of communication from the devs or publisher is indeed leaving many players baffled.
Anyway, many are concerned that future developer maps won't stack up to the originals because of Creative's current limitations, but I think proper judgement/comparison should be reserved by the time more features and modes get added. Think it like a Mario Maker situation, its initial release compared to now in MM2 post-updates feels like something more limited and far less complex. But yeah, I wish the best for FG since it's the most fun, carefree and cozy game I've seen in a long time, and custom maps should indeed leave it with plenty of stuff to do (a lot of them fill a single player FG niche btw). We just have to wait and see how this new tool gets expanded / improved and how the rest of the game moves forward.
Definitely, SS2 was ambitious and don't think we'll get a season like it, which is a shame I did like most of the maps just the way they handled things was what made me not like the season. I'm going to wait and let them cook before I make any judgements on creative mode, I did enjoy using it which is a good thing as the foundation won't change so having a good foundation is necessary, it's not difficult creating, a bit of a learning curve but after an hour I got the hang of things.

Well not every change unfortunately haha, feels like I did but I missed quite a few like stompin grounds where the rhino will do its dash attack while on the disc whereas before it would do a light thrust. Might make a follow up to this one but that's still something I'm thinking about and not set in stone. Tiles in hex a terrestrial used to delay in fading based on your ping
Now they fade immediately at all times when stepping on them (if you ever had ping issue in that level 😅)

@@Izzytorium well, I play with potato internet and my ping is nearly always between 90 to 120 ms on eu server (it has the best performance for me)
On hex a terrestrial, tiles used to have a little bit delay for me while stepping on them, nearly 0.3 to 0.5 sec unlike hex a gone and hex a ring, even sometimes used to play on us server with +200ms ping and it delayed even more.
On ss4 all 3 hex rounds feel same at least for me, beacuse they all fade as soon as I step on them
Just to make sure I understand this, if you had bad ping and step on a tile in Hex A Terrestrial it wouldn't crumble right away? But with the season 4 update it does?

I've been body blocked on dizzy heights at the starting maze of spinning plates a few times but other than that it's been decent surprisingly.
The amount of times i got hit into oblivion in Upload Heights in immeasurable

10:00 Nope, 360 dives are still in the game, you can even do them with 60 fps. You just need slanted Lillys, that are slanted in the direction you are moving. You can make the setup in creative, you just have to spam-dive, and eventually, you will get it.
Huh interesting, only place I see slanted lily pads is in the ending part of the map, but that can change depending on the variant. The 5 side to side pad variant is probably what you're talking about that's also the default variant. According to the patch notes
Previously, players were able to exploit FPS on a computer and get “speed boosts” when using drums on levels like Lily Leapers. We have significantly reduced the ability to do this.
Thought they didn't want to say they patched it to suppress outrage but it seems like they just reduced it, any speed differences with 360?
@@Izzytorium I discovered 360 dives on a Creative map, where the Lillys are in one line. Idk if this works on Official maps. But I got a speedboost from the 360. I was just holding forward and slightly touched the right button and my Bean made a 360 dive. Very strange. But I could not do this every time I tried, maybe because this is frame perfect. And sometimes my Bean made this 90 degree dive, that you can see on some Speedruns. From that 90 degree dive I also got a speedboost.
51:30 The cool thing about playing on pc is that you can watch Videos while the game is loading. Therefore I don't get affected that much by loooooong Loading times
That is true, just alt tab and if you have fall guys stats and the overlay is enabled it'll let you know when the game is about to start.

There is a bug in Full Tilt X when it's a late Round with 3-4 Squads that should qualify it can sometime happen that the person that came first wins the game and also hus Squad even if there are people from other teams left

It is bad when multiple matchmaking is removed as there is a event u need to complete almost every show so its is bad in my view.
With multiple show selection it would be random on what show you would get, with this new show selector you have to change shows manually which is just one step.

Removed in the core modes lol, you can also get it in the vault show but for all intents purposes it's removed from the main game.

Yeah when SS4 came out and I bought the Fame Pass I didn't even notice that pop-up so that sucked lol.
Both pops up? Cause only fame pass 1 had the pop up telling you the season pass is gone and the fame pass is taking it's place.
Mediatonic fixed a Bug where if you go to the Controller key binds, it would softlock you, if there wasn't a Controller connected. This was a thing since SS1. If you got softlocked, you had to force quit (alt+F4) the game.

Explains why I can sometimes see the player cap and sometimes I can't. Most of the time it shows the 1 number for me, very interesting thanks for letting me know that. In SS3 and prior it would always show 2 numbers.

How do you feel about server owl lying about ski fall, roll ON and slimecraper being "unvaulted". I was so excited to play slimescraper because i hadn't played it since SS1, but for 1 week straight in DUOS i had NO LUCK. it so unfortunate they lie about maps being unvaulted (BTW: good on you for a 1 hour video!)
As mentioned in the video not the first time they did this sweet Thieves was unvaulted at the start of SS3 but got vaulted mid way due to people going into dead servers and farming wins, they didn't tweet saying it was gone. Could've been a mistake listing those maps but they should've corrected it as soon as possible just feels scummy to me not gonna lie.

I think that was a mistake, it doesnt make sense that a COLLAB skin of all skins would be free for everyone
Maybe its actually MT being generous but it's also likely that they forgot to make it locked for premium pass
Also i dont think its legal for them to make it exclusive to premium pass AFTER season started so thats why it hasnt changed

This was most likely intentional as to make things fair in Blast Ball
Here's the thing right, late game Blast Ball, not much room left and a blast ball is coming towards your little island. It would be annoying and difficult to dodge it, MT probably went "Huh, thats not fun instead its annoying. Lets make blast radius work backwards". Honestly this was somewhat of a good idea on MT's part but it definetely confused people as they never explained how it worked.
I mean logically when you see a bomb you go "ok throw it near the player for most knockback/damage", when it does the opposite of that you go "what"

I think this was also to make Blastlantis more intense, the arena is so big and have so many safe zones that its even harder to knock out people. It's not impossible but certainly harder than it is in Blast Ball.
With this change, i actually want to try to kill someone as its easier to kill people in Blastlantis now.

While it wastes less time (a good thing in general), they look like last minute additions.
I wish they just sped up the intros they had by 2x or maybe 1.5x instead of making new intros that kinda look meh
This is nitpicking yes, but i kinda miss the charm they had like "here's what this round looks like". I know how Whirlygig is laid out, but thank you.

Good riddance for Old Door Dash intro though, actual waste of time.
Also Next Up was ALWAYS an unnecessary addition. IT DOESNT EVEN STOP ON THE ROUND IT PICKS.

I can confirm that you were not able to dive slide on Thin Ice tiles in SS3, i guess Thin Ice was just vaulted for the sake of vaulting.
I can talk for hours about creative made levels but TLDR
This game will be ruined if they keep making levels within Creative. They are nice but they DO NOT MATCH UP to the unity made levels, even best of the best rounds in Creative are no match for what they made in the past. I do not like ANY of the finals, they are not difficult but they are too punishing.
According to a commenter thin ice was vaulted cause the intro cam sequence was broken, it wouldn't show the map and go off somewhere else, can't confirm this and it was only 1 guy who commented that so I'd take it with a grain of salt, good to know that you couldn't dive on the tiles in SS3, did say it was my theory as I wasn't sure and thought dive sliding was why it was vaulted. As for the cutest friend skin mediatonic made a blog post and it said this.

So it's intentional that cutest friend is a free skin you can unlock in the pass.

1) Thin Ice Intro Cam sequence WAS broken, but intro cameras being broken doesnt mean that the round gets vaulted (Dizzy heights in S6, Hyperdrive Heroes in SS3 (unrelated by the intro cam is fixed in SS4, but its vaulted. Lmao).
2) Thats good then, its good that MT is being generous towards F2P's now. They just got whole lot of other problems fix though.
Oh okay good to know that Thin Ice intro was broken, also hyperdrive Heroes intro was broken in SS3? Legit never noticed that 🤣
