Nishant Nair Though it sounds like he's not actually singing 95% of the time. Those are the vocals on the single. The exact same. He's improvising between bits, otherwise it's the recorded vocal track. Don't get it. Very odd, given the talent of the artist.

***** Actually I listened the performance a couple of times and I must say that you are wrong. He's singing absolutely live, you can hear the live voice of Porter's echoing through the place. The performance is live record, they are professional musicians, producers, fantastic work mixing the live voice and the records voice - they use samplers with maximal effectiveness.
CashMarley Yeah exactly: he's kinda singing over his own recorded voice throughout the whole song. That's the issue though: in my opinion, he gets trapped over the exact same version than the record's, losing the only interest of live: singing somehow differently from the studio record :-/
That's only my opinion though. I think it's ruining something I was very eager to listen: a live interpretation of his hit!

The thing I love most about Disclosure, is that they selectively seek out featuring artists who work smoothly with their track, not just because they are some big name, like Lorde and The Weeknd, but just that the vocals compliment the melodies, and vice versa. True musicians would appreciate this process. We all must.
