    One feature that no one talks about is sms delay feature... u can choose 3 seconds to 10 seconds after you hit send... just in case you misspelled something u can cancel sending! Very handy feature!

      @@TheWIZELY Yeah, 9 seconds is just enough to read the SMS before you send it. It's an "Oh Shit! That's not what I meant" button.

    So glad you mentioned registering your fingerprint sideways for one handed use. A lot of more popular tech reviewers online have been making false claims, as if you need two hands to use it. Very informative! This is what consumers need to see. A video that's going to help them figure out there device instead of swaying them to make another decision.

My mothers samsung galaxy s4 had far better resolution then my own s5.. at first I thought there must be something wrong with my phone.. but I found out science hasn't gone that far yet.

    October 2022. Welcome to the future. Great video, Actually explains what to do and because the phone is on the screen, we can pause and double check what icon you pressed. Just a thought: If the black on the OLED screen uses less power than white, "dark mode" would be a huge powere saving. So for any apps etc that have dark mode as an option , set dark mode on.

    I don't see the greyscale mode within power saving mode like shown on your phone. I have a Sprint S5 so is that why? I can get greyscale mode by going into settings > developer options > simulater color space > monochromacity. Wish there was a simpler way of turning it on and off though.

    Remember these old features that we don't have anymore And in the notification panels there used to be over 60 toggles and you could add more you can still do that now but you used to have 60 toggles out of the box and you could add more now you only get 20 or 30 you can add more still but you only get 20 or 30 standard out of the box life was better back in the day Samsung's removing features when apple is adding them pretty funny remember the pen feature to hover your pen over the display and it showed you the calendar stuff or placing your hand on the screen to mute your phone and then once you lift It off of your phone it would unmute and the ability to put your hand over The sensor to turn the screen on and then the same thing to turn it off that's completely gone the pencil Hover features where you put the pencil over a calendar and it will show you more information that's gone Samsung's busy removing features when other companies are busy adding them pretty funny🎉

    It's great to see someone else actually using the fingerprint scanner with one hand while setting it up. I see so many tech pubs decry how bad it is compared to the iPhone one. But like most things with computers they only do what you tell them to. I do think Samsung should have also have mentioned this in there tutorial for setting up the scanner.

    'Gimmicky' features available years ago will not be mentioned - then apple copies them one day and all of a sudden it is revolutionary... lol Hopefully the following are in the video! Glove mode (increase touch sensitivity), Selective focus (apple has yet to copy this but give it time...lol), Air view for videos, photos and music. Also, using gestures for photos, music and to turn on phone without touching the home button (food for when you have greasy fingers) wet fingers is not an issue as the GS5 is ip67 water resistant, smart stay, smart volume, adapt sound (which will test your hearing in your left and right ears and then automatically equalise any audio being played through the phone whether it is music or someone calling you as a phonecall - it will make the audio sound perfect for your individual ears and you can even set which ear you use to talk with on the phone so that it will EQ the incoming call to perfectly suit your ear!) No two ears are exactly the same due to hearing loss, age and so on... Even your left vs your right ears would be different and the GS5 can work this out! Forget all those preset EQ scales or the manual adjusts of the levels as THIS is the best way of EQ-ing music on your phone. One day apple will copy these old features... iVolume, iView, iSmartStay, iGesture...lmao Just like when they copied burst shot, one handed mode & ultra power saving mode a few months ago.

    • @Defensive_Wounds
      @Defensive_Wounds 8 років тому

      +Brony Legend By the way - Apple DID copy Samsung again, February 3rd 2016 Apple patented a way to interact with a phone that is EXACTLY the same as 'air view' on the 2013 Galaxy S4, 2014 Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note4 phones - plus using gestures to do things as all those phones can do YEARS before Apple patented this 'idea' (not added to an actual device keep in mind - yet Samsung has had it in devices for fkn years! lol) There is also a baby monitor mode from the Galaxy S5 onwards.
      I was right again when it comes to Apple being rotten to the core....They really need to grow up or just fade back into the shadows where they deserve to belong. I miss the early to mid 1990s when Apple were in the shadows. LOL

    1 Question! For the 'Increase touch sensivity' Does the Samsung galaxy tab S 8.4 Have that features? It is because I prefer Tab S 8.4 better than Note 8.0 ...Tab S has a better Pattern and powerful Processor for gaming...So the main purpose that i ask u that question..bcoz i like drawing~ With the 'Increase touch sensivity' features is on the Tab S, I can use pencil or pen Instead of The stylus. :)
    Reply Quickly ASAP :) TQ.

    Do you know if it is possible on my S5 to have "Voice Control" / "Answer calls with voice commands" turn on while not saying the caller's name? I don't want my coworkers to know who's calling me if I walk way from my desk without my phone. Thank you for posting these informative videos.
