Guys, we all took the time to find this song through different faucets of media or because of experiences and memories we share with loved ones, there is no need to make someone feel like they don't care for this song nor the genre it comes from because of that. We are all here to enjoy this piece and what brought us all here. Please, it's so ignorant to try and demean someone based off the way they found this song. None of you are more special than the other. Alright my rant is over lol
it feels like the end credits of someone who lived a happy life. And the end feels so loud like it saying time has run out, but you won't be forgotten.
This song causes me very strong feelings. I get goosebumps when I hear this. It's like I remember something, which doesn't make a lot of sense because the lyrics are about romance. I don't really know what it means, or if anyone feels the same way, but it's magical the feeling I get everytime I hear it.
Years ago, my grandmother and I danced to this song in her parlor in Lynn, MA. She loved this song and remembered hearing it at USO dances during the last year of the war. Grammy couldn’t dance very well after the car accident, but I couldn’t either. Holding her as we circled around that small room meant a lot then and means the world now. Twenty years later, Alzheimer’s and time took her away, but this song played last Fall as my boyfriend and I drove back to my house from picking up plants. It was as though Grammy was giving us her blessing from beyond this realm and it was at that moment I knew for certain that Trevor and I were meant to be and we had the go ahead from her and all our favorite people of that wonderful generation that have gone to their reward. I pray we dance to this marvelous song at our wedding.
Especially since so many others never came home to live their best lives either. Made me happy that he got his second chance because so many others never did.
@@harshshah._. Crime was low, American people loved America, men did not curse around ladies and/or children, I could play outside in safety and just go home for lunch which my stay at home mother made for me then fun back out to play with my friends. We had zero electronics and had so much fun playing with each other outside (unless it was raining and then we could make tents using sheets and dining room chairs to pretend in). We used our imaginations for everything and pretended things we could find outside were certain objects we needed for our play. We had to learn to get along with each other and we had to learn that some people had more or better abilities than others and be ok with that. I could go on and on and on about how things were in the America I grew up in and loved. Thank you for asking. ❤ P.S., I was 17 in 1965 😁 😁
@@harshshah._. Watch some movies from the 1940's and you will get some of the flavor of it. People were civil to one another, certain manners and courtesies were shown, children could play outside without their parents having to worry about someone harming them, children were allowed to just be children (I loved swinging as high as I could and then jumping out of the swing, climbing trees, digging in the dirt and making things, using my imagination by myself or with a friend or two, no electronic devices (got a transistor radio for my 13th birthday in 1962 or so). "So did something go wrong, or did something go right?"
@Joker ??? CLEARLY right
I was born in 1941. I grew up playing this music on 78 rpms. “You made me love you” is my all-time favorite.
Wow, 1941! I haven’t even been alive for a sixth that you have. Any advice you have?
Now you're 85 happy last birthday 🎉
Guys, we all took the time to find this song through different faucets of media or because of experiences and memories we share with loved ones, there is no need to make someone feel like they don't care for this song nor the genre it comes from because of that. We are all here to enjoy this piece and what brought us all here. Please, it's so ignorant to try and demean someone based off the way they found this song. None of you are more special than the other. Alright my rant is over lol
it feels like the end credits of someone who lived a happy life. And the end feels so loud like it saying time has run out, but you won't be forgotten.
dude go listen to eitbon that is litearlly the ending to it
eitbon fans 💀

This song causes me very strong feelings. I get goosebumps when I hear this. It's like I remember something, which doesn't make a lot of sense because the lyrics are about romance. I don't really know what it means, or if anyone feels the same way, but it's magical the feeling I get everytime I hear it.
Absolutely amazing and energetic
I feel same way as you Anna
How are you doing Anna?
Me recuerda a una película, pero no se cual..
@@franciscojehuhernandezhern9527 Endgame?

I think the time period it was made in brings alot of those feelings that can't be explained anymore...
It's incredible what these types of songs transmit to you.
I recently discovered this song. What is the name of this genre or type of this music? I would like to hear more of these

This song reminds me of
Ratatouille
Toy story 4
Wall-e
End game
Tom&Jerry
Up
Etc.
pucekki The end of Covid. If the vaccine comes.
Bioshock too
Wasn't Wall-e La Vie en Rose? I always get those songs mixed up
Cap's ending reminded me of Woody in the end of Toy Story 4
The Walking Dead Telltale Series The Final Season
“Everything comes to an end”
Aventureros de maravilla yeah even people
Part of the journey is the end
A harsh reality I have been used to for the last year
For every end, is a new beginning..
The end is always new beginning

Those who are here from endgame need to listen to his other songs because if you like this song I guarantee you’ll love his other ones
T-BONE ROX Harry James is so good. I hope that scenes like the one in Endgame encourage people to check out this whole genre.
And swing,/jazz in general. Harry James used to play for Benny Goodman Orchestra which his songs are good too.
T-BONE ROX I genuinely like this song
What song is that
I’m into jazz only once in a while. Like the Gershwins
Hearing this song at the end of "Everywhere in the beginning of nowhere" absolutely broke me.
10/10 song, would cry to this again.
“I had a date”
And a date he had.
And he got that dance he promised too.
😭😭😭
Time doesn't stop ⌚

1:02 Men am I the only one who will appreciate this part was?
This part was so magical
Roronoa Zoro yeah kinda reminding Wizard of Oz
I do appreciate too🥺 It felt magical
I was thinking Peter Pan
Listening to this song
I can do this all day.
Great reference
thanks marvel for making me discover this beatiful song ❤
this was the perfect ending for Steve since he was originally from the past and deserved to go back and live his life there
Especially since so many others never came home to live their best lives either. Made me happy that he got his second chance because so many others never did.
hell yeah im happy to see how many people one kid brought together
I was born in 1948 so this was my parents' music and I loved it growing up, and I still do. Precious WW ll era music. :)
And Harry James had those beautiful blue eyes. :)
Wow how was it like back then , I am just 17 and wondering how it would've been like
@@harshshah._.
P.S., I was 17 in 1965 😁
😁
@@harshshah._. Watch some movies from the 1940's and you will get some of the flavor of it. People were civil to one another, certain manners and courtesies were shown, children could play outside without their parents having to worry about someone harming them, children were allowed to just be children (I loved swinging as high as I could and then jumping out of the swing, climbing trees, digging in the dirt and making things, using my imagination by myself or with a friend or two, no electronic devices (got a transistor radio for my 13th birthday in 1962 or so). It was as different from now as day is from night.

This is the most beautiful music ever written, written by our boy Harry James.

Besides the comments to Endgame, just how absolutely beautiful the trumpet was. Takes my heart away 😭💖

I'm in a bad time right now, but this song is helping me. Thanks, Harry James.
whenever i play any of these types of old time songs, my grandma is always the first to sing along with her quiet voice and i find it adorable tbh
That’s very sweet!

Harry James' trumpet virtuosity is top drawer, and Helen Forrest's voice is so sweet and mellow, and so full of longing and wonder, that after so long, she and her love are reunited once more.

I love how they made this song to welcome everyone that fought for the World War II back to their home and love ones, this is a perfect song to let the soldiers return back to their normal lives and finally be happy with their families again and not have to worry about anything else other than the time that they had spent to protect the country
