I love that you're not a gatekeeper, it says a lot about your character. I do understand why people do, because once something becomes saturated, it becomes more competitive. If they only had a few hundred people reaching out, and now have thousands, how is one person going to decide who should get the sponsored trip? Will this model still work going into 2025? By now i imagine most o f the travel influencers are past this and already onto the next best kept hack.
Following - and thank you for your generosity and putting people on. It’s amazing to see how many choices we do have and what pivots we can make. Now you’re sharing that with no fear for scarcity. Love that for you 🎉may your generosity be multiplied for you as well
This is so helpful. Thank you for the tips. I have clicked on the media for particular places. Never thought of tourism board. Thank you for your help.
Great video! Any advice for someone looking to start out with travel content creation? I’ve built very modest followings on a few platforms, but not travel related at all. Found that it’s a new passion and would love to get into it, but not sure how I’d present myself to brands since I don’t have travel pages or a travel following yet
What are your suggestions if you are just trying to get started and dont have as many followers? What did you say in your pitch when you were just starting out?
Start by building your following. Without a following they have no reason to pay for u to travel. Then do actual research on how to write a pitch. U have to do the work.

@@susannahsimpson2650 I would suggest posting what you have because tourism boards usually want to see what you have to offer. I started locally by posting restaurants I would try in my city then I pivoted from there by reaching out to hotels locally, places that offered activities locally, etc. After that when I would travel on my own I would do the same thing which is reach out to different businesses based on the places I would travel to. I have a video about how I started on my channel as well.
If it’s your first time pitching? If so, you want to make sure you have at least something to show them from your own personal travels before you decide to pitch.
Hi Dominic! This is awesome I run a subscription Travel club. We negotiate deals with Hotels, cruises and excursion providers worldwide to get dozens of curated packages at HUGE discounts for our members. I'd love to partner with you to share the Affiliate link. Please let me know how to reach out. Thanks🙏
Then reach out to places individually in that city/state. Reach out to the restaurants you want to visit, boutique hotels, activities in the area. You’ll have a much better chance just reaching out to places directly if your following is low, that’s what worked for me in the beginning and I would just cover my own flights, transportation, etc.
This week or next I will be contacting my first tourism board and inquiring about a collaboration. I have a little over 1,000 followers on my Instagram, with only 4 travel/lifestyle videos posted, and I have a little over 2,500 followers on my tiktok with a decent amount of content. It’s not a lot but when I do send them an email I will inform them that I am a new lifestyle and travel blogger, looking to expand and grow with collaborative businesses/companies. Definitely let them know you’re wanting to network as a new influencer.
@@kailanistegehuis2460 I love that pitch! Also, don’t be discouraged by the no’s because I heard that a lot in the beginning and I still hear no today, but the yes’ that I’ve gotten makes everything worth while and like I said if you can’t get a yes from tourism boards start reaching out to places individually like hotels, restaurants, etc that’ll cut the cost at least for tour travels.
I love this so much! Thanks for not being a gatekeeper. ❤
You’re very welcome hun.

Hey, I’m thinking about contacting a city tourism board. When I do, do I need to put an exact place I’m trying to go there?
You can add that information, yes.

How can I apply for the tourism boards
I'm having finding my states can you help me please
Do they pay for your flight to comeback too?
@@EsePeters yes, sometimes they cover round trip travel. It just all depends on what you and the tourism board agree upon.
Hey! do you hire a photographer to travel with you to get all of your content?
No, sometimes I will have someone with me or I just shoot the content myself with a tripod.
Unfortunately I can’t find the free pitch email templates
You can find it here blogionistatv.com/product/free-pitch-to-luxury-hotels-template/
@@BlogionistaTravels it says $21.99
Do they ask you to have lots of followers on your youtube ?
Not really, it more so depends on the quality of your videos or even if you have a blog as well.
How would you do if it's your first time

How will do that I must travel first before that right
