I was about to do that..
I recommend using Refined Storage instead of Applied Energistics. They are both great but RS removes some of the slighty annoying parts of AE such as the 64 type storage limit in cells and channel limit in cables. Otherwise the storage systems are very similar.

So a couple of pieces of advice if you keep this series going
1. Alot of materials can be automated
2. A Powah (yes that is the name of the mod) reactor is great for power
3. I think you could probably make your crazy good armor into allthemodium armor
