Miss Leylah, you learned from the moving courts in singles right after in the doubles darkness. You stood your ground when the referee wanted the four of you to keep playing with darkness upon you. You won that argument and waited till the next day. Bravo
Fernandez doesn't have an efficient serve, jumping too high with really no added benefit. Paolini is shorter but didn't jump like a grasshopper like Fernandez. Her serve is effective enough.
paolini is 28. she’s older than vekic by almost half a year. Leylah is 21 years old and she improved her serve compared to last year. She made much fewer double faults this grass season and her serve speed was the same as the 5’10” wozniacki.
@primelasst2955 Wozniacki has one of the worst serves on the WTA, perhaps even THE worst. What I am saying is the jump. It takes more energy to jump high. If that doesn't add anything significant, then don't do it. And I don't think it does anything for Fernandez.
@@tomsd8656 And what I am pointing out is that Fernandez is only 21. Even Iga just started changing her serve this year and she’s 23 years old. The Canadian has plenty of time to improve her serve. You’re comparing her to Paolini who is almost 30 years old. Fernandez reached a grand slam final and quarterfinal at age 19, already with 3 titles. Paolini only has 2 at 28 years old.
So proud of you Leylah, always watching you play, keep going🙏‼️🇨🇦
I love Leylah's mentality, so hard working, always trying to improve, she is an inspiration !
She's very well spoken , smart , & tons of positive energy. No doubt she'll continue to improve & be successful.
She is a class act and I believe her future is bright.
This girl is so classy...wish u the best leylah
Leylah , i now you can do it , i did see you a few years ago at US open you beat the best players that was amazing and r you still young 👍👍👍
Leylah sets a great example even for an old guy like me.
It is important to turn losses into learning experience and profit from it.
So mature Leylah
Best of luck on your quest for Olympic gold. We’ll be rooting for you! 🤞🙏
