Fried livers are my husband's favorite. He usually gets them from KFC but found out last week they no longer have them. I'm going to surprise him with your recipe. He'll be in hog heaven.
They still got them up in gordonsville Tennessee as far as I know but when I worked at kfc they told us we could eat whatever we wanted for free other than the big chicken I was the reason we never had livers everytime I walked past the drawer I was grabbing 4 or 5😂😂😂

My grandmother taught me how to make smothered chicken livers with a little chopped garlic, seasoning and salt ,pepper, and onions and fry them in a minimal amount of oil..so tasty 😋

YES!!! Fried chicken livers and gizzards were a favorite meal when I was a kid! Still love them to this day. --- Sometimes I like just pan fry chicken livers and serve them with scrambled eggs for breakfast. There's a small independent market near my house where I get the best chicken livers and turkey gizzards.

These are so good. My mother made the best liver and chicken liver. She made gravy with carmelized onions and fresh bisquits from scratch. Liver marinated in milk a few minutes seasoned with pepper, salt and onion powerder tossed in flower. I moved to Florida and surprised how many of the younger generations have never tried liver or turn their nose up at even trying it. They have no idea what their missing and that's more cheap priced liver for me :)
As much as my wife and I love chicken livers, I hate cooking them because they explode hot grease all over you. I wear clothing and safety googles when cooking them. Thanks for the tip on poking them with a fork before you cook them. I also discovered I don't use enough grease. Thanks man!

My sister likes fried gizzards, I love fried chicken livers. When we were little, we had to attend church on Sunday, morning and evening. My sister and I snuck some left over gizzards and livers to the evening service l, my mom and dad nearly lost it when they found out. We weren’t allowed to have gum in church much less food.
