I’m gonna be 100% honest: this is one of your best covers yet. The lyrics are relentlessly poetic & not constrained by some vain attempt to directly translate the Japanese lyrics. The vocals are powerful, vivid, & excellently hit both the high & low notes this song demands. Even the background instrumental doesn’t sound as compressed as past covers often have. TL;DR This is by far the best cover of this song to date, & a proud addition to my iTunes library :P
