A 'defender' who led from the front, and dropped back to win the ball high up the field. Skillful and beautiful to watch on the ball, almost caught defenders off guard because of his imposing frame. A LEADER in the most difficult moments on and off the pitch. A teacher and role-model for the young kids - as a player and a man. Just a legendary, one-off player who played for the benefit of the team ALWAYS, and not for his 'stats' - King Didier will always be cherished and have a special place in my heart as a Chelsea fan 💙
