That was fantastic. Thank you, Emma! Had noticed in your full time-lapse video that the eye was very true to life so it was fascinating to watch how you did it in detail. Absolutely stunning, as always. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Thank you Sandra! The Pastelmat is great for sharp detail. I can see why people find it difficult to get the detail they want on velour after it. But for me they're all different, it just depends what look you're going for.
Oh boy! Even tho I’ve seen the finished painting, & know how perfect it looks.....I was actually nervous watching you do the reflections‼️👀 But as always, it turned out brilliantly.....gonna have to try a hare of my own after watching yours ❤️🐇
I love doing eyes as well. Makes the animal come to life and they don't take much time to make them pop!
I have to say that bokeh background is the best I've seen. The in-focus buttercup at the front really sells it.
Your pastel paintings have so crazy reality in them! I just cannot get used to the thought those are not photos :)

no words......how it possible
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Have tried pastelmat a few times but i find it difficult to blend and soften the painting...back to velour and Mi Teintes.
I found those things more difficult in a way too Judith. Think I'll persevere with Pastelmat again though as there was lots I liked.
