Hi there, you're correct that they're harmless within the enclosure. There are a few options for containing them to just the enclosure: 1) Diatomaceous earth can be sprinkled around the perimeter however if you have other pets that roam your house this may not be the best option 2) you can put duct tape facing with the sticky side up
I just bought the fire skink kit and am exited but couldn’t find ANY pictures of the kits online and am just hoping it turns out like yours but worried I won’t fill up the entire 40 gallon tank
Hey Josh I have a question about putting bones into bioactive terrariums, I have a California Kingsnake and someone gifted me a deer skull that wasn’t cleaned properly so I soaked it in a diluted bleach solution then a diluted vinegar solution then I boiled it afterwards and I’m just nervous as to how the cleaning agents (bleach and vinegar) would affect my cuc. I just would like to know if it’s safe to put in the terrarium
First off that's very cool and your CuC will love it. As for safety of putting into the enclosure, because you boiled it after the bleach it should be okay. With anything you get from outside, boiling/baking is the best thing to do.
I really appreciate your efforts! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
Petrified wood is generally safe. If you're getting it from outside, wood should be baked in the oven at about 200°F for 1 hour, boiled for 20 minutes, or frozen for at least two weeks :)
Thanks for sharing these guys! They're gorgeous and of course, showing how you set them up.
Love seeing some love for the sunk geckos! I've been working with them for 3 years now! Hands down my favorites.
So glad to be here josh. Love all you do. I'm actually using some of your desert biobedding in a small tub for when my Porcellio dilatatus arrive
how do you guys deal with soil mites leaving the enclosure, I don't mind them, but I would prefer them to stop crawling outside of the tank.

Does anyone know if petrified wood is safe to use in a setup
