- We provide real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
As a children’s cancer charity, our mission is to supply real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people with cancer, for the duration of their treatment.
We can also provide a single wig to children and young people who have other conditions that result in hair loss, such as alopecia. Although this is different to our support for children with cancer, we hope this one-off gesture will help families decide on their long-term plans for dealing with the condition.
Our fantastic network of recognised salons and mobile wig fitters is made up of skilled and experienced people with a positive attitude and a sensitive manner. This short film gives an insight into a a typical wig-fitting appointment with one of our lovely fitters.
These videos really need more likes. Yesterday I cut my hair for this and I’m so happy and I can’t believe people wont do it. Afterwards you have such a lovely feeling inside of you that soon you will have made someone’s day just by cutting your hair. This is a lovely idea to use proper hair that’s not made out of plastic. These people are the real princesses they look amazing and so beautiful with and without the wig
Yes I mean I cannot believe when someone told me that maybe would not go to the kids how do you know ! Well I say there is a chance a big chance this is going to make a little girl happy even the chance is going to be 1% I’m going to do it because this 1% is worth it! So please instead of cutting your hair and your hair goes to the trash please donate because it is worth it You know what is important it is that you want to do this to make someone happy wanted to share your hair with someone to make it happy I’m so proud of myself and all of the colours that donating Please let’s share the kind

Currently psyching myself up to cut off 16 inches of hair, I have very slow hair growth so it's taken nearly 10 years!

Yet if a child has confidence issues or anything that still gives them haor then they don’t want to know, children should be entitled to wigs for other reasons than being bald
