My first time seeing Gaara as a kid, I was scared to watch this show for a second lol. Him and Orochimaru really brought the darkness to this show.

The ino-shika-chou is a mythological animal from Japanese culture. It is a mix between a wild boar (ino) a deer (shika) and butterfly (chou).

Well, Attack on Titan, Hunter X Hunter and other anime like that have a fame of being dark. You don't hear "Naruto is dark" that often, so moments like this can take you by surprise.

Edit: My point was poorly expressed so I'll try to adjust it. Yeah, Sakura is kinda bad all around at this point but you think about it, she's one of the few (I can't even think of another) ninjas without a speciality. At his point she's still a bit of an airhead (she's actually smart) like Ino except Ino had her family jutsu to fall back on when Sakura has to start from scratch

So lee isn't sh$t since you place such value on what you where born into..both lee and sakura raise past all of there teammates (barring the MC and sasuke) over the course of the anime with no kekkei genka to give them advantages which should have you praising them for what they did without a crutch.
That was Sakura before her character development. But at this point, after cutting her hair, calling her an airhead who only cares about Sasuke is ignoring her development. That's not her anymore.
@@roseofthegarden_ Especially in Shippuden, Sakura is my fav female character. I think I didn't express well what I meant to say which is that unlike most characters, she didn't have anything to fall back on so anything she does and is, is through her effort alone which at this point wasn't much.

@@nakpak8149 Because incorrect subtitles can make you hear/read things wrong. You can see in the video that they have subtitles on while the episode is playing.
Regarding sakura in part 1. The writer has given interviews saying he had no idea how to write her or what to do with her until tsunade was introduced. He also admitted he was never that good with female characters to begin with.
That is one thing the boruto writer has on him for sure.

That moment when Rob realises this isn’t a kids show. He was so shocked at a lot lol
You don't have to like Sakura, but the reason why Sasuke stopped was because of Sakura. I know you must think that he doesn't seem to care for her, but he does. That's the whole reason for him going on a rampage in the first place. He askes who hurt her, he holds back because of her. If she didn't mean a thing to him, he could have shoved her away, could have done everything else anyway. Let's say Naruto woke up instead and tried to stop Sasuke? Wouldn't have been able to stop him, if anything Sasuke would have lashed out at him. But not at Sakura - because Sasuke has a soft spot for her and I hope you don't miss that in the show. He's a sensitive person, hiding it behind a closed off demeanor. She's just as important for his development and character as Naruto.

I've never had an anime villain made me feel fear like Gaara. As a kid my heart would race anytime he's on screen. He was the definition of a monster and went through one of the craziest character arcs I've ever seen. One of my favorites character in fiction.
