Probably my favorite gym leader is Crusher Wake (from gen 4), pretty much only because it has a funny name in Italian (my native language) being "Omar il distruttore" or Omar the destroyer, which I found hilarious as a kid!

I have to say, my favorite gym leader is probably going to be Whitney with her insane miltank. I remember way back in the day playing heartgold, I was presented with the biggest challenge that I did not anticipate. Whitney was the first time I had to really strategize to beat a gym, and I now have fond memories of that.
Rollout gave me nightmares as a kid. I had to get my starter to at least 29 to beat her 🤣🤣 plus two extra Pokémon
Me as a kid with a machop i traded for a female machop with my drowzee: i never realized she could be that hard...xD But i knew it was a normal gym and i needed something with a fightning move and i always check/talk with anyone. So that trade was just "yes"

Favorite gym leader is Misty. VCS is veterans canteen services. So this pack was most likely purchased at the gift shop in a VA hospital or on a military base.
Hmmmm fav gym leader would have to have been Volkner in sinnoh. His arc brought a realistic feeling to the gym challenge since he was never getting any real battles. Bringing his passion for battling back always made me happy as a kid lmao. Thanks for the awesome content though Leon! Love what you do for the community, keep up the good work!!!
My favourite gym leader is easily Marlon from unova, and not for the normal reasons of I really enjoyed the game he was in, don't think I even actually played black or white2.
But a couple of years ago, I begun to play the Pokémon dnd 5e, system before it got disbanded due to legal reasons, and my favourite DND character I've had the most fun playing to date, had Marlon written into the backstory, as my character eventually became a mono water type specialist.
And after playing through that campaign with my now close friends and DM, I have an emotional attachment to him and all the Pokémon that ended up on my team, sorry for the long winded comment, have a nice day anyone that took the time to read. 🤙🏼
Whitney. As kid she wreaked absolute havoc on my teams with her Miltank. She taught me that going into a gym battle required strategy and skill. No gym leader forced me to burn through AA batteries in my GameBoy Color the we she did...but after Whitney, all other gym leaders seemed like normal trainers...

My favorite gym leader is Clair, out of "Blackthorn City's Gym" in the Johto region, I love her Dragon-type Pokémon and Dragonite are one of my favorite pokemon cards.
I like Candice from the Sinnoh games. Her gym puzzle was always so cool to me.

Lt. Surge is definitely my favorite. Mainly because growing up as a kid, my first TCG tournament I used Lt. Surge's Raichu and actually made top cut. My brother took all the meta cards for his deck, so I was left to fend with the rest haha, but it worked out!
