I'm glad you do this for us, the first 5 minutes at Macy's my nose is overwhelmed by the people behind the counter trying to make a sell. My nose gives up and I can't make out what is what after a while, and the coffee can doesn't help either. You my friend are appreciated.

I agree to you. I prefer the EDT over the EDP in almost every case. Mostly because the EDP changes the original DNA from the EDT too much for me. Stronger, but not better.

EDT is good for the fresh summer fragrances, EDP & Parfum are suitable for Winter times.
The problem for me is EDT doesn’t last on my skin like when I was using Dior savage edt it wouldn’t last on my skin I need something strong to last on my skin
Stronger with you EDT is nice, but it lacks character. Stronger with you intensely performs just as good and has a slightly more unique and tapered scent than the original
I prefer the EDT. Though it really comes down to personal preferences because fragrance smells different on each individual.
For me if you are looking for Projection then pick the EDT and oppositely pick the EDP if looking for longevity anyhow for summer always pick the EDT version you can consider this as a rule

I find the Sauvage way to "summery" in the winter. It's kind of a cooling smell, which fits more for warmer Days.

Stronger with you EDT is definitely one of my, if not my favourite cologne. I like the sweet fragrances and this one just smells so fucking good

Thank you so much for this. I am new to the fragrance world and I have been refusing to buy any eau de toilettes because I always assumed it was just a cheaper weaker stomped on thinned out watered down version of eau de parfume.
And you were correct.

@@keepitraw1 Then use less or dilute it with ethanol. I don't like neat whisky it's too strong but it's great in lemonade or Sparkling water.

Actaully it also depends on the Brand which you buy not all EDT are long lasting some fly away within 2-3 hours

Hi Folks, much like Jeremy mentions in this video EDT VS EDP is very personal to each fragrance, i.e some fragrances are much better EDP than their EDT counterpart. As an avid collector myself, out of all the fragrances I've trialed EDP for Dior Savuage is an absolute must, the difference between the two is immense IMO whereas Versace Eros there is really no difference between the EDT and EDP. If you're looking to buy Dior Savuage I 1000000% recommend you spend that little bit extra and get the EDP
I was very late to Sauvage having not bought my last fragrance for several years. Of the two I also went with the EDP as a Christmas present request.
I did buy the elixir as it’s different, long lasting and strong for the winter.
I have all the 4 versions of Sauvage and he is not lying, the original toilete is the best

You would wear Prada Lhomme and Prada Lhomme intense at different times so doesn’t really apply. EDT can be spring summer, INTENSE can be fall and winter.

EDT vs EDP. No difference really. Depends on the ingredients and quality of them. My Dylan Blue and Le Male, both in EDT. Can last and project much more than some EDP fragrances.

And in some cases last longer! The longevity of a fragrance is based on the amount of essential oil.

I like your ideal as 1st come is the best Jeremy. But to my personal taste, I prefer the Dior Savage EDP > EDT, also the Bleu the Chanel EDP > EDT too, maybe because my skin didn't keep the smell last long so I would prefer the stronger version of the fragrances, again this is my personal experience so maybe different from the other.
May i ask do you think EDP is good fragrance for acidic than EDT?

The edt Stronger with you is pretty unremarkable, and Stronger with you Intensely is much better.
My first bottle of fragrance was Prada L'Homme which when I bought it I thought was Intense but when I opened it, it ended up being the EDT. To this day I'm glad for the mistake because Prada L'Homme is the best fragrance in my collection (except for Office for Men).

I've had the most positive responses from the Bleu de Chanel, #1. A close 2nd has been the Versace Eros.

If you work in an office you can already forget about EDPs. I tested EDPs and Intense flankers of Light Blue, Savauge, Stronger With You and Lacoste L'Homme and most co-workers would cough and even I myself was sometimes distracted from the smell. It disrupts your concentration and overwhelms those around you.
Then I tested them using the EDT or non-intense version and only once did a female client cough to Lacoste L'Homme, propably because of the Rhubarb.
Guys listen to Jeremy, save your EDPs for outdoors and parties and use some casual EDTs during the day. Even better if you work in an office you can use your Summer/Spring freshies like Azzaro Chrome all year round.

I have the edt and I'm loving it, baught the edp because of the hype and it smells like Buble gum floor cleaning solution! Not sure if I got a bad one.

What happened to EDT Resist for men?
EDC = Weak and vague dry scent barely projects unless doused
EDT= stronger projects from clothing easier than oil due to alcohol evap and surface area but for a shorter period and has average less projecting dry down scent that doesn’t project well over time
EDP = Projects massively from warm skin areas clothing spray not needed ie head back of neck will fill a room obnoxiously if too much applied, not as projecting from clothing but will linger on clothing longer, projection of dry down scent way more prominent and enduring if applied to the correct area in the correct amount.
Parfum and Oil = Like EDP awesome in small amounts on warm skin areas. Its all about the application with Oil, Parfums and EDP less is more any less concentration such as EDT and EDC is a false economy unless your paying a quarter the price!. Stronger concentrations win in every aspect and smell and project as they should if applied correctly to the right areas don’t fall for marketing hype and bs anecdotes about less projecting and different smell. Higher concentrations can cause nose blindness to the wearer prompting further application because they think its not projecting causing everybody elses eyes to burn out.

Hey I’’m so confused about EDT and EDT, 4 years ago I went overseas to work and when I finally have my chance to have vacation back in my country I always thinking what should I bring with me. Then Perfume comes in my mind so I start researching what perfume is good and what should I know about it. Then EDT and EDP confusion came in. It says that EDT has less oil concentration which means it doesn’t last longer compare to EDP, so I start buying EDP perfumes like Dior Sauvage, D&G The One, Dior Fahrenheit etc. Then I become obsessed with perfumes. Then everytime I watched your videos for a possible choice of perfumes again I became confused. I came from a country that is tropical but most of the time is hot so sometimes I sweat and my worried is that the perfume I sprayed will last. should I buy EDP or EDT?

Aloha Jeremy, J’adore. Excellent, to the point, unbiased review. I loved the original GIO and always received compliments on it - AND - they discontinued it! I did fragrance modeling at that time and it was a big seller. Honestly have still to find a scent I enjoy as much🕊.
EDT and EDP are concentrations, right? So why do they add notes? I understand that some notes are heavier molecules and last longer, but still.

I like the stronger with you intensly. The heavy sweetness is only in the First Half an hour. After that its more on the smokey and leathery side. In the drydown it is a bit similar to jazz club (with a caramelle note).
