That baby girl is EXHAUSTED. You can see it in her eyes. She’s got a long road to rebuilding her self-esteem. I’ve been in the big sister’s boots and there’s only so much you can do. You can’t replace a mom who’s choosing something over you.
😢 That poor baby wants structure and rules so that she can tell her mom loves and cares about her. She is crying out for attention. I hope she doesn’t follow her mom’s path.
How do the young daughter wants structure when she keeps doing what she wants to do when her sister and her mom was giving it to her and she did nothing but did what she wants to do like her sister said. She can’t play both sides of the fence. The young daughter needs to start listening before she ends up somewhere she doesn’t want to be. Mom needs to be sober so her kids could feel that they are loved and wanted. But both mom and daughter can’t play both sides of the fence though. It’ll be a part 2 for sure. Even though the daughter has trauma and she may act up from time to time but mom is gonna have to put in some extra work being a mom and pray for herself and her children.

She is acting out because she doesn’t have structure and rules and consequences. You’re right about saying she needs to listen but I think she will once the mom becomes a mom.

This poor young girl is hurting, she just needs love and a parental figure. And I feel for the older sister aswell though, having to take all of the family problems on her shoulders is so stressful. Both children are hurting, and the mother needs to take accountability,and be sober.
I hope both children heal, and the mother actually tries.
Gooosh, I just went through this a few months ago. My 15 year old little sister moved in with me because her mom put her own, and our dad abandoned her, leaving her and her belongings outside. I picked her up and she moved in with me. But then she stopped going to school to hang out with her girlfriend and smoke. She lied every day about going to school until I called the school and got her report card, and attendance and she was failing horribly and missing tons of days to where she can't even move up a grade. I arranged to have her in job corps and she told me that I'm not her mom, so I sent her back to her mom's house. I am going to just pray for her, as an older sister, you can only do so much.

I’m so sorry to hear. I wasn’t doing well in school & I didn’t want to go to job corps. Once I realized how bad I was failing I decide to sign up on my own. Job corps helped me get my hs diploma & a trade. It wasn’t easy but I’m glad I finished the whole program. It worked out so well for me I got a scholarship & now I have my bachelors degree in criminal justice. Continue to pray for your sister 🩷 & keep talking to her. Prayers for you & your family 🙏🏽

Same, as a child, I wouldn't know what to do if my mom said don't do drugs while she's high on a hard substance, trying to decide whether or not to kick me out. I would not trust a word she would say!

It’s so hard to be trapped between wanting your family and trigged by the trauma they’ve caused you. You can’t trust them because so many times they have been untrustworthy. You’re just floating aimlessly with no help and no guidance. Unfortunately, this will make you more likely to become the victim of a predatory male and become the next generation to repeat the pattern.

The young lady needs rules she can't break and the mother needs to adhere to them and not let it slip. The young lady wants and needs structure.

She doesn’t respect her sister or her mother in that capacity, for different reasons of course. This child needs another adult to step up and help her. Her mother is drowning and needs help herself.

This episode brought tears to my eyes. I feel for everyone involved especially the big sister. The mom is trying but it's not fair for her to let her eldest pay for her shortcomings shortcomings. I prayer she sobers up and I pray the youngest is giving the supports to heal and deal with her teenage emotions and hormones. She don't need to have no baby, so she needs to be cautious.

These two young beautiful ladies lives are highly adversely impacted by their mothers drug choice. Its sad and its painful to watch.
The bigger sister is mentally strong, hence she seem to be doing well for herself.
I pray for the 15 year old to find healing and focus in school and creating a good career for herself.

The mama doesn’t care about her!! My mama would fight tooth and nail for me at that age and at the age I’m at now. She wants her mama to fight for her not FIGHT HER. Poor baby 😢
Hope mom puts in the work behind getting sober . It’s a hard journey . I hope she means it . If not, she will disappoint her younger daughter tremendously .
I pray the mother goes to rehab and does some extensive counseling. They all need to do group / family and individual counseling to get them tools to deal with their issues.

Yeah, this was a lot.
When parents have kids and they themselves didn't come from a home that taught them love, understanding, or being seen, and their kids act out the only reaction they're taught is anger, frustration, and literally fight against their kids. They don't know how to stop for a moment and understand that a rebellious child behaves that way because they're screaming to be seen, heard, and loved.

Unpopular opinion-the child is just being a rebellious teen and wanting to do what she wants to do. She wasn't listening at her sister's house either.

she never had rules...of course she didnt follow them at the sisters house...she was never taught. in her mind everyone leaves her...nobody really cares about her...they just want control and power. so why would she listen. especially when theyre going to abandon her anyway. she only trusts herself so she only listens to herself. also, it is very normal phase for abused/neglected children to "act out" after being removed from their environment and placed in a safe home. they are testing the boundaries and seeing what the punishments look like.

This is one of the best episodes I've seen and I must say she's right about the generational curse, we a black people we have to get it together because that young lady really needs help and I totally understand why she lied because she just wants to be loved and cared about..

My mom is a recovering addict, she came back into my life around 5th grade. I definitely had to let go of a lot and trust that she wasn't going anywhere . Tbh that is the reason for acting out a lot of the time . Wanting to be seen heard and loved

Awww, when baby sis came out, I immediately started bawling. You can genuinely tell her older sister didn't wanna send her back, but as you get older you have to start making decisions for yourself. You can't constantly be that shoulder to cry on for other people. What good are you to anyone, if you aren't good to yourself first?

THANK YOU!!! I'm here like is no one going to address the she's not listening to her mom and having her "homeboys", speak to her mom etc etc. Drugs or not, not being out at 11pm at night is part of parenting. Clearly she hurting but that does not equal a free pass to behave any type of way

The young daughter can’t want her mom to be there when she still does the same thing over and over again. And I can tell she doesn’t like authority like her older sister and mom said. She can’t do what she wants to do when she wants people to care about her and get her help. The mom is wrong. Hella wrong! But you can’t play both sides of the fence. Mom needs to get herself together and be there for her children. She can’t play both sides of the fence either.
There’s serious mental issues between these 3 but the youngest need help ASAP cause self harm is NO JOKE! Even if it’s for attention, it’s a sign you need help quickly before it’s too late! They still have time to save her before she goes down the same road her mom did

This is so disgusting that a 15 year old can pack her things and go stay with her boyfriend, I wish my 18 year old would try me like that, there is no morals or respect in the home I 🙏🏽 that this young lady get the help she need!!!
You would have to ask yourself why you kid is trying to leave you. This lady said her daughter does like structure when she literally abandoned her and gave her no structure. The mother does not care about her being gone. Days weeks months go by and you don’t know where your kid is at and you don’t try to find them contact them?
