My daughter just turned 8 two weeks ago and came home from school today begging to show me something on youtube, it was animusic. Her music teacher introduced her class to this today and my daughter is in love with it. This piece is her favorite she said, "This piece of music makes my heart feel like it's getting a warm musical hug, it makes me feel like I've stepped into heaven itself." I hope this is on a cd somewhere! Thanks for sharing it and inspiring my daughter Lily.
Mark Grace yes you are I'm in 6th grade and I was in 1 and 2 and 3 grade in jonis Clark elementary school when I was to wach this at a surtan time of the year I miss it 😭
When I was in elementary, our music teacher showed this to us. Aqua Harp was always the one I preferred, but I didn't know why. 9 years later, I'm in high school, a sophmore, and now I see why I preferred it over the others. It's quiet, relaxing, just what an autistic child like me needs after a stressful day.

Imagine an archeologist digging around a desert, then faintly hearing music. Then walking towards it, and seeing a self playing harp surrounded in a shallow pool of water on this golden structure. And just sitting there, listening, then as he starts grabbing his camera, the structure sinks into the ground, waiting for another person to play to.
imagine a girl walking through a cavern. she goes through a side tunnel and beholds the harp. she sits and listens quietly. she puts her diamond necklace in a opal bucket near the harp. the harp begins to proceed with it's instrument variation. this girl realizes that even though no one loves her, this harp still accepts her. a few pixies whizz past her. she falls asleep and dreams of another world.
+Lawrence Keesler Well, if you consider floating picks and a hammer inside the laws of physics, also I have to question where the steam is coming from, but other than that, instrument-wise it is very realistic and a beautiful piece. Oh! And that the flute/whistles stretch out when the steam comes out.
Animation is not about what is real, it is about what the mind can imagine. So what if what you see is impossible to conceive in reality. Who never had an imaginary friend that only you could talk to and hear? The music is great, the animation is great. Appreciate it for what it is not what it isn't.
A beautiful piece that calms me after a long day of school. My teacher is strict and this makes me realize that life is not what you make of it. It can be full of choices, but things happen that you can't control. I'm stuck with this teacher for the year and I'll have to stick with it, enjoy it, embrace it, Think of positives and not negatives. Not only that but all the other situations I get myself into. I just enjoy it, stick with it, and embrace it. Love Life.
I have listened to a number of versions of this song now and this one is the closest to being RIGHT. It feels like the is a memory of a young person who had never heard any music like this before. But it feels like it was thousands of years ago. Does anyone else get this impression?
I think I get what you're saying. For certain scenes in one of my stories, I hear this song playing as the background music. It fits perfectly with whirling snowflakes. I can imagine the main character hearing it too. He's obviously never heard this piece of music, and he's not naturally musical. But I can imagine even him hearing this or something like this in a quiet scene with whirling snowflakes.
Wow, I have been looking for this for years. I remember I first heard this when I was about 11 years or so old watching a local public television station. I was mesmerized by it. They showed these Animusic Videos once a week so after that I watched every week so I could hear it again. but they never repeated this one and eventually stop showing them. This particular video has been seared in to memory ever since. I'm really glad I found this finally. 8 years later and It's still wonderful.
+Jewell Pacheco Because people do not know how to appreciate art, because they are dissatified with their own life, and can't appreciate others. It's called selfish.
+Jowell Pacheco yeah stop hating I took these people probably a long time at least there doing something and you commenting on this is making them more popular and they will make more and more songs
This is so beautiful! When I saw this video, I searched for the sheet music :D Found it and I can almost play the whole piece on my harp by now. It's awesome!!
I just realized this is animated.? I spend like 2+ hours trying to figure out what robotic mechanism they used to have the mallets play the instruments... ;_; I'm an idiot
Hey, you're not alone. I thought the same thing when I was younger... but how much work that goes into these songs is an amount that is absolutely eye-opening. Doesn't the idea of music being robotic or animated with floating instruments make you feel like machines will rule the world in some way? Technological music is already here, starting with Animusic, and then Hatsune Miku, the Japanese anime vocaloid artist-person that sings like she's on helium ._.
Some lyrics I made: I sing a song of the sea From a far away time Of the rivers and rain That gave us life Crystal fountains so clear In our palaces old So long ago Now our cities are gone But our music lives on Enchanted instruments play Crystal picks, magic strings And the silver chimes ring For a land led astray Spirits of the water, we pray unto thee Spirits of the water, bring us prosperity Spirits of the water, we pray unto you Spirits of the water, to nature we are true
Somebody needs to make this into a Vocaloid song! And I'm one of the people to do it! But, unfortunately, my laziness greatly restricts me from doing such a thing. :(
absolutely beautiful. I've like classical music since middle school when I was in orchestra, never really pursued it after but I've always had appreciation and love to listen to it once in a while. The harp is a magical instrument. Very beautiful piece. Stunning visuals. Very nice. Thank you for uploading.
When I was younger I use to dream of playing this song with my friends. This song has become a lullaby of my childhood and now even though I don't play an instrument very well I vocalize to it. This song touched me.
I have a story. Harp: it's a wonderful day, and it starts raining. Whistles: birds are chirping Those bell things: lightning/ thunder Violin: rain continues Now, make the story up.

yeah. like a scene from a Final Fantasy game where the princess dies and her ashes get scattered in a beautiful lake and sad harp music starts playing. 😞👰
Regret, grief, sorrow...over lost people, lost opportunities, lost love. Even now, in the twilight of my life, I am foolishly squandering it. Why did I never find anyone worthy of me?
Given that Animusic isn't really supposed to be a free public video and is really an album that you can buy and play on your TV or something, I can see why some people would dislike this. But I LOVE it. The best song out of the entire list of songs I've heard from them (this and the one where the instruments bounce and travel a city or something like that).
Because you have people that were never taught to enjoy music! They clump themselves on one genre of music and that is all that they listen to, or they don't listen to music at all!

this is one of the most beautifull videos by Animusic, seryouslly, this music is MARVELOUS, the harp is just perfect, and those violin and cellos notes are just the icing in the cake
I distinctively remember this exact video on some launcher back in the early 2010's and it was some multi launcher type deal. There were games and videos on that launcher which this specific video and with a cat version of the macarena, but for the life of me I don't remember what it was called.

This is a very old animation DVD.
@@Alpheamus man I remember this as a kid in music class. Back in like 2013
How's your daughter 10 years later?
watched this when I was a kid. some of the most calming music ever am I right?
Mark Grace yes you are I'm in 6th grade and I was in 1 and 2 and 3 grade in jonis Clark elementary school when I was to wach this at a surtan time of the year I miss it 😭
Mark Grace im in 4rth
Mark Grace Some of the Animusic songs scared the living shit out of me.
Imagine seeing some of these videos on LSD...it's a wild time...
You are right lad

Same here I honestly think I need to listen to more Animusic... I've strayed from my mental health routine for far too long
Animusic has so unique melodies. Being child I used to get bored with this song, but now being 18 yo, I realize... is beautiful.
so happy i found this song again. the music, the animation, the water effect int the background is so soothing.

You guys should go be a writer on a movie, book, game, what the hell ever there is. Just write a godamn masterpiece already.
Sonata lol true
I remember in third grade or whatever, we had a substitute in music and she showed us a bunch of these.
Best. Music class. Ever.
These Animusic productions are intensely faithful to the physics in play if these were real instruments. Amazing!
+Lawrence Keesler Well, if you consider floating picks and a hammer inside the laws of physics, also I have to question where the steam is coming from, but other than that, instrument-wise it is very realistic and a beautiful piece. I feel it's one of the main selling points. How the physics float and waver, it makes the experience that much better.
The playing animation is totally accurate. Somebody could learn this song in harp just looking at where the floating picks play.
Animation is not about what is real, it is about what the mind can imagine. So what if what you see is impossible to conceive in reality. Who never had an imaginary friend that only you could talk to and hear? The music is great, the animation is great. Appreciate it for what it is not what it isn't.

FOR GOD'S SAKE. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS FOR YEARS. FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY !

why so many dislikes? its SO NICE, it took lots of hard work and money! so be respectful

Probably because it's low quality but you can still listen to it without the animation
well, at least the like ratio is significantly higher than the dislikes.
this video is beautifull x3 the part where the "cello" and the "violin" start playing give me chills, such marvelous composition
i wish this would just keep playing for a few hours and i could sleep to it

every once in a while i come back to this, it's so pretty
Ikr it's so soothing and relaxing like a lullaby 😌
Agreed 😌
so much time and effort put into each of there pieces.. and the musicians are just so wonderful in working with them...
Some lyrics I made:
I sing a song of the sea
From a far away time
Of the rivers and rain
That gave us life
Crystal fountains so clear
In our palaces old
So long ago
Now our cities are gone
But our music lives on
Enchanted instruments play
Crystal picks, magic strings
And the silver chimes ring
For a land led astray
Spirits of the water, we pray unto thee
Spirits of the water, bring us prosperity
Spirits of the water, we pray unto you
Spirits of the water, to nature we are true
Somebody needs to make this into a Vocaloid song! And I'm one of the people to do it! But, unfortunately, my laziness greatly restricts me from doing such a thing. :(
I would do it if I had Vocaloid. XD
Dreigonix I'm making a mashup/remix of this song with Gary Jules's version of "Mad World".
+George Greener
Nice.
Dreigonix Why do I hear these two work so well together?
absolutely beautiful. I've like classical music since middle school when I was in orchestra, never really pursued it after but I've always had appreciation and love to listen to it once in a while. Very lovely tones. Very natural sounding. Air and water tones. like it.
I use this song as my lullaby because its so peaceful it makes you wanna sleep or makes you feel calm.

As a kid this was like super fascinating. One of the few times the classroom was actually quiet
This song is so beautiful and it is my favorite animusic song I just love it!
Wow...the scenery in this is beautiful...to accompany the piece, I guess.
I think this is the best music animation in the whole music animation in my opinion
Incredible. Lost a loved one today and came across this clip. Really helped me think about his first night in Heaven tonight. Just beautiful.
Love it, always have. It's an amazing piece and I can't get enough of it. :)

Wonderful to listen to 12 years on.
beautiful and brilliant.
Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything.
Who would dislike this calming music
Quentin Palmatier the kids like me that had to watch this same movie for two weeks straight in high school. 😂
I love the attention to detail in these videos, the you can see the vibrational waveforms in the strings...
Best way to fall asleep. So relaxing.

moonyprongs i listen to this one and resonant chamber when i go to sleep. :)
I have always loved the hands, no arms. Just a very cool visual for the harp.

This song always reminds me of DarkCloud on ps1 when I used to play it..

I've always imagined waltzing to this. Under the moonlight, near a still pond. Letting the magic of the music set us free
This sounds like it belongs in a Final Fantasy game. That would awesome.

The most peaceful music I've ever enjeoyed. Fantastic.
I have a story.

Whistles: birds are chirping
Those bell things: lightning/ thunder
Violin: rain continues
Now, make the story up.
THOSE ARE TUBULAR BELLS
Tubular Bells is one of my favorite albums.
Cool instrument too.

Its amazing what u can do with computer animation. It looks so real except no one is actually playing the song
I remember when I saw this many years ago and fell in love with it. As a young child, I woke up fairly early on school mornings (it was still dark outside) and went downstairs. Awesome, what can one say, " Its spell binding."
So beautiful smooth calm and relaxing. It really blends the instruments well: the tubular bells, the harp, the flute, the cello, and the viola
I love harp melody's Beautiful
Simply beautiful.
I can't decide between Heavy Light and this one to be my favorite Animusic video :(

Is anyone else reminded of runescape by this song?
How strange, I thought I was the only one that was reminded of Runescape by this.
😢 I miss you runescape..
Quinlan McNoland the beginning reminds me of mad world lol
Still my favorite… God I love this soundtrack. My friend recently learned to play this on her hammered dulcimer and it made me emotional.
Anyone else interpret this song in the context of piercing regret? Seems deeply tragic to me. Or perhaps not regret so much as grief?
