This has the potential to be the best 4DX experience in a theatrical movie , ever !!!
My best 4DX experiences in the past was Solo : Star wars Story and Ford v Ferrari , absolutely amazing !!!
You watch IMAX for the visual satisfaction , but 4DX truly gives you a thriller ride , for the right movie of course .

Godzilla: King of the Monsters was my best 4DX. I'd go see it again every month if I could. The Rodan hurricane scene was ridiculous.

Just been and, well, the experience was underwhelming not because of the movie (we've now seen twice, it is incredible) but because whoever mapped the movements for the seats has never been in an aircraft, or on a boat... The movements were totally counter intuitive which brings you back into the room rather than deeper into the movie; over-egged which took the punch out of the big moments; squeaky, nothing a little maintenance couldn't solve... Overall, it has a lot of potential, but get a pilot to map it. Trying to simulate G forces when you can't even get the center of gravity shift direction correct is useless, and less is definitely more when you also need to leave enough to simulate dogfights at 10Gs.

People don't understand the physics of this. They don't care, it's some rolercoaster for them. But I do care, and I was afraid it wouldn't be realistic, so I will not watch it in 4dx. Dolby Atmos must be better.

Wow you mean to tell me that a cinema chair isn't the same as an F18 fighter jet? Thank you so much professor for your valuable insight.

I heard that the movements match the camera, instead of the plane. So, when the plane turns left, you go right. When they take off, you pitch down, because the camera looks down. If this is the case, that was a silly decision.
