This Review This Motorcycle!! Man, you hit the ball right out of the park with this one Ken Da!! This is the kind of review that I, as a motorcycle enthusiast would be looking for, a review that would not give me the information that I would be looking for, but flood me with top quality excitement and enthusiasm without requiring some dramatic dialog delivery, crazy camera angle, outlandish music and school elocution style English. That's a true-blue "Biker" sharing a true-blue experience. Yes, it's a gorgeous looking machine, it's a Triumph and even overshadows a Red Street Triple in oomph (really??), but a Bobber is not for me, I would still take that Red Street Triple. That being said, I was freaking salivating the entire review, by just imagining the excitement of the details you were sharing - Total and Instant connect. I would have loved to see you launch the bike and ride away in Slo-Mo though with some intense overtones of bass playing in the background (didn't I just say that I loved the simplicity of the review minus some outlandish music and crazy camera angles few lines above? I am one confused lad it seems). Loved It!!
Excellent.Looks good for weekend rides..For long rides need a customized top rack for mounting luggage.
This guy has lots of positive energy. Would be a great friend I bet.
Whoa! Thank you so much for such a positive comment. 🙏🙏
You are awesome. 🙌
I must say, this is undoubtedly one of the best reviews I've seen on Triumph Bonneville Bobber. Love the fact that you covered all aesthetics, power, comfort, bit of exhaust note. One thing itching on my mind is the "ground clearance" which is not the best on this, keeping in mind the condition of our Indian roads do you think its practical to own it or should we be concerned before buying one.
That is a good question. Sorry about the late reply. Somehow missed in my notifications. GC is indeed an issue. But if you are careful, you will be fine.
How can I reduce the volume of the music on this video clip?
That was a great review. It shows that you're truly excited about the bike. I'm trying to decide between the Triumph Bobber Black & Indian Scout Bobber right now. Torn!!
DreadSheep What I suggest is getting the older Scout and add the Stage II exhaust which will give you 200Nm of torque.
I just bought the Indian Scout Bobber ABS. Absolutely love it. It has about 30 more horse power than the Triumph
nice review man, I love this bike too! please lose the background music all the way through the video next time though...it's very distracting.
superflea72 Oh really? Thank you for the feedback. It is interesting because I have been told several times to put in a background score to make it less monotonous. I will keep your words in mind.
Awesome and ride quality is superb with that rear suspension and single front brake disc !!
@@KrishnenduKes o come on, I love the bike but single disc is absolutely not adequate
Now I have subscribed your channel, congratulations for 1000 subs👍👍
Really? I didn't notice. Thanks man. I owe you a manual brew coffee. If you are in Delhi, let me know. 🙌🤘✌️
@@AbhijeetShinde9 Cool. If you drop by, just tweet me. We can catch up on bikes over good coffee.
Is there any accessory for rear saddle bag mount.. how is the comfy for long ride, looking by the seat it doesn't look much
You are right. Not very comfy. It is great for red light drags, coffeeshop rides. But saddlebags is a no no.
If you want to do long rides, ask a buddy to come in a car carrying your bags. 😀😀
Hii really liked the video, I have a triump bobber and a harley sportster . On my Harley I have a V&H ShortShots Exhaust which is mind blowing and my Bobber is still running the stock and I am really looking for a lounder Exhaust for that what do you suggest ... V&H or other custom made..??
Please what he says from 7:17? When he points to the fuel tank. sorry my english not good enoght. Ty!
We were on two bikes, the Red Street Triple and the Triumph Bobber. But the people ignored the Street Triple even though it is a very beautiful bike. They wanted to take photographs with this bike, the Bobber. :D
Because the Bobber is really beautiful.
Brother, could you do a review on the triumph speed twin?
Looks comportable what is your height Sir? Just for preference?
Hii I wanted to know how is the servicing and do you get all the parts easily in India because I know people with tiger explorer and all the parts are not available in India
All of North India has very good Triumph service. And no problems with parts either. Especially with the Tiger. Lots of sales of the Tiger 800.
I know the gaz reservoir is quite small, but how many Km could you do on one fill?
Yes. That's true. I would have to stop every 170 odd kilometres to fill her up. 🙄
Sir everything you said is about buying and experience with it ,
Nothing about after purchase and long term ownership like service maintenance and triumph support,
How often we need to get service.
Plz make one video for it too sir
Because your input is important.
We will soon do a report on other bikes and we will consider these aspects too.
These are new bikes in India. And people deserve to know.
Thank you again. :)
71nm of torque @ 4K rpm?! How was it on the curving mountain roads? Nice review
You are wrong! 106Nm of torque!!! Yes, that's what I said... 106Nm. Now let that sink in first. 😎😎😎👍👍
Man I am 6.1 can I ride it comfortably
hello Krishnendu Sir, I am an avid MTB rider, and I was fascinated by the hardtail design, I have never owned a motorbike, hence did all my thrill on the MTB hardtail, have also booked my triumph bobber, just wanted to know how is riding a MTB hardtail different than ride a hardtail(sorta soft) motored bike, also how is riding a bobber different than riding a bike of different category(say racing bikes or other cruisers), do u use motocross style or Motogp style for turning or handling ?, Thanks for your suggestions and responses, brilliant review, if it wasn't for the hardtail bike in the background, I wouldn't have been convinced, great stuff sir
Thank you for your comment. However, I did not quite understand your question. Could you please elaborate? Which bike do you ride?
@@KrishnenduKes thanks for the prompt response, I ride cycles(Both MTB and Road), my first motorbike is going to be the Triumph Bobber(for city commuting basically), I wanted to understand the riding skill that I might have to vary coming from a different hardtail world ?
so for ex : how would you turn a bobber at high speed, the motocross way or the Motogp way ?
Kindly also look at my channel to get some idea about the way we ride, I wanted to understand how is the bobber different in riding than traditional street or rat bikes ? not power not torque, but handling as compared to a diff bike of the same power
@@AdventuresOfDroggo-n-Human Ah! I get your question now. You see, the Bobber is not made for handling. It will not turn like a Street bike nor will it turn like an off road bike. It turns with some amount of counter steer and some leaning. Not the best handling machines out there in terms of cornering. Just had a look at your Bir Billing video. Very good production value! Bravo! 👏🏽👏🏽
@@KrishnenduKes thanks a ton for your genuine response, we shall ride soon :)
A few points! u can buy a luggage rack for the rear fender. You can more the seat forward so your not stretch out. The rear shock and be soften with a spanner 🔧 for a softer ride.
I am pretty sure that these options did not exist in India when I was given the bike to test out. But hey... thank you for pointing them out to me. I thought that rear shock had a vendetta on my spine! Gosh!
Thank you again. :)
I want to see RE make a bobber. The way they set their path, I think we can see one in 4 to 6 years from now.
Maybe. 6 years is a fairly long time. Anything can happen. RE may even start to make reliable motorcycles! 🤔🤔
Is there any chance to fit a pillion seat?
A Bobber by definition is a single seater bike. If you add a pillion seat, it is not a Bobber anymore. But if you want, you can add one.
Can we do customization like back seat and luggage..??
That's a good question. You can customise a back seat. But it is going to be darn uncomfortable. A Bobber by tradition will not take a rear seat. But if you add one, there is not much suspension available for that person. Totally not advisable.
As for luggage customisations, as I say in the video, carry a backpack and a tank bag. More than that, it is not possible.
You cannot really tour with a Bobber with a pillion sitting behind.
What will you recommend Speedmaster or Bobber???
Personally Speedmaster. Because I like to often share my riding with someone intimate. Bobber cannot be shared. Bobber is also quite stiff in the rear as I have shown in the video.
Indian scout bobber OR Triumph bobber OR Harley Davidson fat Bob . which one?
Thanks for the reply!
Can it be changed to double seat
If it is a double seat, then it is not a Bobber anymore.
You can personally modify and put a double seat. But rear suspension is extremely stiff. See the video for the suspension at 3:35, very stiff.
Hello Ken Daa...I hope you are doing well....you are doing such a fantastic work and i really enjoyed your video. . I am planning for Jawa Perak based on budget, liking and I am short ride with height 5.3.. Ken Da could you please give me your opinion about this bike?
The Jawa Bobber is a good bike for the budget. If you like Bobbers, you will enjoy and it will turn a few heads. The engine is good. So you will not go wrong. Go for it and enjoy. :)
Hey man this video was just so amazing but I heard that it doesn’t contain any gear ....... is it true or not I wanna know plz reply back many people recommended me this bike but I wanted to if it contains gear or not
Totally untrue. This has gears. You can hear me shifting through the gears while accelerating! There is a huge gearbox and massive clutch plates.
আপনার accent টা খুব ভালো। n the way u presented this video, i really liked it.
Anirban Chowdhury Wow. You write bong on UA-cam. Bravo. Where are you from?
Krishnendu Kes ... আমাদের শহর কলকাতা থেকে. But I was born n brought up at Asansol.
Anirban Chowdhury That's pretty cool. If you come to Delhi, lets meet up. 🙌
Krishnendu Kes ... Absolutely Sir. Same goes for u also...For Kolkata. Cheers to our new বন্ধুত্ব।
Dude, try to mute the background music atleast when u give acceleration. So that we also get a chance to hear the silencer...
Why don't you upload your own video , that's right, you don't have a bike !
Great video Krish, the choice of background music is great, Lovely bike, this is what I am working towards.
Thank you so much for dropping by, looking at my channel and leaving a comment. Let's meet up some time James and reconstruct the world. 😀😀
Try using image stabiliser or a gimbal, too much of shaky footage
this vs forty eight
which one is good?
Interesting question. How would you define "good"? What do you want from the motorcycle?
@@JithinPv 1. Looks: subjective.
2. Comfort: 48
3. Quality: both
4. Service: both.
@@KrishnenduKes thq. im 5'1" looking for a harley. which model will good for me
cool bike, really👍😁
For touring and luggage, get a trailer. Maybe it would help. Love Triumph motorcycles. God bless.
Depends what you compare it to and what you need on your travels. I am looking to buy this bobber but have travelled with a Harley bobber in the past. I just mounted a sissy bar and stripped my waterproof roll laguage to it and put two leather bags to the sides, DONE.
No clock?
Any bobber looks bad-ass and it's meant for singles 😎. But if you need one and can't afford for triumph ? Jawa perak is on the way in mid of 2019.
better than hardly
I'm looking for me a old triumph of the 60 years it's got to be a chopper
@@calvinriddle2696 No idea. But where are you based? I'm in the North East, in the Philly area.
sir bobber single sheet hi aa rhi h kya
Sir, Bobber ka matlab hi single seat. Agar 2 seats ho toh voh Bobber nahin kahlayega. ✌️
Jab larki ki jaga motor cycle say ishq hoga fir tenu samajh legegi k Bobber asal may hay kia...;-)
Sir I would like to know your opinion on Triumph Bonneville T120 on Indian Roads ....
We are planning to do this.
First I have to come back from my roadtrip in Europe.
Anant Parameshwaran Don't go for a T120. It's not as comfy as a T100. I have driven both for about 400kms and chose a T100 as a daily driver over a T120.
Koustav Mondal Thank you very much for the insight I will note that.
the most sexiestt old school bike still alive
Triumph Bougainvillea
I think the bobber is a perfect 2nd bike, but you really need something more practical for day to day riding.
You are absolutely right.
What do you use for day to day riding?
I use a KTM Duke 390.
Krishnendu Kes I'm on a Triumph Street Scrambler. I test rode the bobber and scrambler at the same time, fell in love with both but the scrambler just won out due to practicality.
Again I agree with you. But that is not a bike that is available in India yet.
Krishnendu Kes Huh? Street Scrambler? Not available in India? I'm sure I met 6 owners at our coffee meet last week
Correct! You are right. It was officially available since autumn last year and actually on the roads in Nov 2017.
I will try for the media bike for a review hopefully soon.
Thank you for the correction.
Hi.. 1st time in ur vlog.. nice.
Seem u r Bengali by name?
Bingo! You got it right. Typical Bengali. Born in Calcutta, brought up in multiple places. Bringing you content to keep you guys informed and somewhat entertained! :D :D
Kitna deti hai...???
😄😄😄😄😄
You will consume around 4L to a 100 kms. Tank range is around 200-220 odd. Beyond that is at your own risk and peril!
@@KrishnenduKes oh that's why you have a bicycle 🚲 on hand.... 🤑🤑... Just kidding...
I have RE stealth black 500... Which gives about the same.
Reduce volume of background music ...quite noisey ....
Personally would not say that’s a HUGE wheelbase
You are right. However, when one sits one it, one gets the impression of a fairly long wheelbase for a production motorcycle.
Is malshej ghat ghat mumbai
Krishnendu Kes i said is this place where you were riding is is malshej ghat in mumbai
No. The place where I was riding was in the Himalayas, Uttarakhand, near Mussoorie. Not very high though, around 2000 metres.
Krishnendu Kes i m about to buy an motorcycle 10lkh category will this suffice or i may have another choice. Too
RAJIV RAI You see, depending upon the kind of motorcycling you want to do, there are different choices.
Classic 500 Ka vikasit roop 😂😋😘 beautiful bobber
ashwin nair Any triumph rider would prefer their bikes not to be compared to Enfields. That's just an insult. Unless you've ridden any triumph post their 2016/17 redesign..you wouldn't know
Re-edit the video without the music, or at least dial it down a bit. It's very distracting. Otherwise nice review.
The suspension is adjustable....was it adjusted to fat basted...you need to adjust to skinny whimp settings 🤣😂
Just watched the full video and ilI must say amazing motorcycle and amazing review . Hope to see more videos from your side as i just subscribed to your channel no need for a subscribe back because my subscribe is for just learning 🙏🙏 . All the very best for your coming videos .
Pls cut the BGM
Lower the background music. Very distracting.
Music a little annoying brotha sorry brotha !
Not a problem. Thank you for coming and leaving a comment and a feedback. Means a lot. Check out my new MT09 Review. :)
