I love how you always consider schools. This is important for families like my own. Keep up the good work!

I am currently looking at what neighborhoods to move into. I will probably be buying a house late this year or next year. The only issue is that i am trying to avoid HOA like the plague. Must have a pool, big yard, and have 4-5 rooms. Do you think 700k - 800k is a good budget or should i increase it?

Raritan has horrible flooding issues. That's why these homes are less expensive

Thanks for this. We are currently looking for a home within these areas. We are a family of 4 & only currently renting in Roselle, but we are working in Carteret, Jersey City & Newark. This list helps a lot.
I also find houses in Monmouth County affordable. What is your opinion about that area? At first, we thought Essex County would be a good option. But damn, the high taxes, crime rate especially car theft & lack of parking spaces in that county is horrible!!! And we have 3 cars! Lol.. 😂
Another problem is our pre-qualified maximum loanable amount is only $400K and we have lost so many bidding wars already for homes that we liked. 😢

Yes it is tough out there right now. If you’d like me to help you find something, I have an off market program I use for buyers as well, give me a call or shoot me a text and I would be happy to help. 732-319-6870

It's a shame that because of the mismanaged funds and over-spending by NJ Bureaucrats, a lot of prospective home buyers cannot afford to live in the state. The Education System is very costly & inefficient. The entire State has too many unecessary departments. I've seen State vehicles in NJ mark with Departments I've never heard of? Doing business with and IN the State of NJ is always complicated & requires more paper work, as least compared with Pennsylvania. The NJ Government probably uses the excuse that the population is so dense, that they HAVE to have excessive taxation? That is not a valid excuse, because obviously that translates into MORE taxpayer base. There are some beautiful areas & towns in NJ. My personal favorite town is Collingwood in Camden County. My favorite County is Hunterdon, as it reminds me of where I grew up in Rural Maryland in the Eastern Shore. As a direct result of 'greed' within the State Administration, a lot of working class people, like myself, are precluded from even thinking of buying a home i NJ. When I drive through NJ, I always look around in awe & wonder just "how" people can afford to live here? I even have family that lives there, but need three incomes, just to keep their head above water. As far as I know, the ONLY thing cheaper in NJ, as compared to other States, is fuel. .go figure?

Then why do nj idiots keep voting DEM? every layer of nj government is DEM! WHY AND why do people keep voting DEM?

Why would anyone want to live in old 1920s' style home that are way overpriced and overtaxed. No thanks I can get twice the house, newer, and much less tax in Florida.
    And no winter.
