Van is a city in eastern Turkey and is also the capital of Van province. The city had about 370,190 inhabitants in 2012, but in reality the population is much higher.
I visited this city During Eid al-Adha, or the “Festival of Sacrifice” , which is one of the most important Islamic celebrations. That is why you can see thousands of people on the streets shopping and preparing.
Van is also close to Iranian border, therefore many Iranians come to this city for their shoppings or holidays.
