heres another tip:if they throw you off or suicide you, spam the jump button while trying to move towards land, what then happens is your character uses the other player as a springboard which launches you towards the land. most of the time its very helpful.

If they try to jump off with you, try to grab whatever is around to help you cling on and while you're hand is grabbing onto whatever surface, try knocking out the person grabbing you
