I’m a rock climber so I spend a lot of time trying hard problems outdoors on rock walking to and from the crag for approx 15-45 mins carrying a 35L backpack with all my gear/food/water etc and when I’m not climbing outdoors or djing I’ll train on my climbing board in my shed. Check my stories :) It’s quite specific and it’s a lifestyle. My meals are very meat/fish and vegetable focused and I don’t follow any restrictive eating. I love and celebrate food because it fuels me to do the things I love I.e rock climbing. I do my best to avoid numbers/colours/refined sugars and focus on free range/grass fed/organic/whole real foods as much as possible…. I could go on and on and on about this but i hope this helps :) You may be interested in my instagram post that’s very in depth on how I stay strong and healthy here instagram.com/p/C84TA5APdcG/?img_index=2&igsh=bWJjaWhybWt6YXB4
Excellent set! First time listening to a mix of you (you had come across already in my feed once or twice, so I really had to...), and enjoyed it a lot. Just subscribed, so expect to get more comments from me... if you continue to bring us music 😎😬
@@mr.ryanprice1438 Thanks :) do you dj too? I am only playing for fun. And that definitely shows through my track selection - they all bring a sense of either nostalgia or energy that makes me wanna either rave hard or go deep into contemplation! haha *mini speech.
@@cazzysounds I hear ya :). I used to DJ a lifetime ago, SL1200s days.. mostly for fun.. few low key public gigs.. gave up my gear and still dream about it.. but collect music playlists and still love the energy of each new generation or group that find that feeling, you seen it, usually the last people on the dancefloor clapping when the lights come on :)
It all depends on what you think is Deep House. Have a look at Beatport or Traxxsource in the category Deep House. Depending on the record label/ producer it has been put in there, and so the track is labeled Deep House. It is a wide 'genre', like all other 'genres'. Record companies/ producers have to put it in a 'box', so people can find it easier at sites. As for me... I have heard some 'minimal house' tracks in this mix, but they still give me the DEEP vibe I need. And that's what music is all about. To give you the right vibe. And I think Caroline is giving that to us in her mixes. Or am I wrong?
@@deephousetapes Your comment is greatly appreciated and thought out ❤ You are right. I am here to share the energy and experience from music I love. Given the many sub genres across electronica, it would be hard to list the tracks played in the mix to one category. I am not here to play sets pigeonholed to one sub genre of house/techno/disco or whatever it is but I still do my best to title the mix accordingly. I’ve been listening to electronica music since I was 9 years old ranging from trance-house-disco/-techno-minimal-tech house-ambient so I have pretty good understanding of what’s what and the history behind it’s inception. In saying that even if you hop onto Discogs, a single e.p release isn’t always categorized as one sub genre. Just as you mentioned for Beatport. LOL. Music is changing and evolving for e.g the techno we hear today is not like the techno Joris Voorn was making back in the early 2000’s - which I f*kn love. I’m always on the hunt for more of those sexy pads partnered with the swingy/soulful powerful energy his older stuff is synonymous for. I am NOT here to be ultra technical or to chinstroke on genres. For me music is not about that. For me music is about evoking a feeling. An experience. And that’s what I’m here for. Thanks for listening to my mixes and Happy New Year ❤ PS - well done on your channel @deephousetapes
