Hailey did an excellent job. She has grown alot in areas she wasnt comfortable in since I've been a viewer. She shouldnt worry about haggling until the day comes she feels its the right time to try. Garage sales are such a hit and miss and you have to really go to a lot. The flea market is like a bunch of garage sales all in one.

With flea markets you often deal with more "professional" sellers who want more $$ for what they have. Yard sales are where the deals are, especially those big church/rummage sales!

Great job, Hayley! Comparing apples to oranges on which is better. Garage/yard sales is usually individuals wanting to get rid of their excess, so prices will tend to be cheaper, but it's a lot of work going from sale to sale. Flea markets are usually people who make a business out of buying and selling, so the prices will be higher but it's all right there. Just depends on your preference, I guess. Love all your videos!

I think garage sales are a great start for starting haggling, as although it might be a little more awkward, it's equally more awkward for them, since they are opening their guts of products out to everyone, so a great place to learn, plus more often than not, it's sweet families that are not so intimidating like professional flea market sellers. Great job guys!

Hi Hayley, When at a yard sale or rummage sale, ask prices so you can decide if you want to put that much money into the item. (Like the shoes in this video or learn to negotiate, if their prices are too high. 😁) Do not be afraid to leave things if they do not come down on their price.
Way to go Hayley!! I think you both did well, because it’s a little hard to compare the two venues. There are more opportunities to buy at the flea market, but sometimes you can get really good deals with a garage sale. Although the garage sales do take up more time to drive from this went to that. I always ask if the yard sale seller if "that's the best they can do" and most of the time they do. Never hurts to ask.

I prefer garage sales over flea markets any time. I set up at the flea amd i rarely find anything good I can resell when I shop around...most people are just too high at the flea markets I been too. Garage/yard sales are the best!
Hey Josh, my father-in-law had a massive heart attack & his cardiologist told him to stay away from those Red Bulls & any other energy drinks. I think it's hard to compare the flea market that you go to all the time vs random gargage sales.
Josh, you are able to get better deals on higher quality items due to you familiarity with the vendors vs Hayley going to gargage sales at unknown homes.
How about going to a flea market you never been vs gargage sales, it would make the playing field more even.

I *finally* found a pair of Hokas in good shape! I made a little squeak, I was so surprised. They were dirty, but after the washing machine and baking soda toothpaste on the side soles (is that a thinh? LOL!l), they look almost new. Bondi 6 Vapor Blue, size 11! Thanks for teaching us about these brands, and wish me luck!

Sometimes I have problems haggling. Practice on Josh. Practice on the people who know you at the flea market. Even if it's $1, it's a start and will help the panic.
I DONT haggle at church sales, or charity sales. Unless I think they are just way off.

Wearing a gopro to a garage sale is definitely something you have to get used to. But it's worth it once you do, especially with your following!

I don't haggle as a buyer either,. I feel embarrassed. It's good to pay anyhow because no one likes dealing with a difficult buyer. Also you build a better relationship because when a good deal comes up you'll be the first buyer they think of. I try to avoid buyers who haggle or buyers who minimize the value of my item when they know it's much more than I'm asking.

The flea market has become more expensive as they have realized you're making more profit from their items. Garage sales may not have the quality items you get at flea markets but prices are definitely lower. Hailey you just need to learn to haggle when prices are higher than you like. My Grandson used to yard sale with me when he was 4 and 5 and he had it down pat. He was much cuter than me, so that helped too. I enjoy all of your content, thank you.
