Hi, we appreciate your comment.
Actually, if the design / artwork / image it has grey color, then that is the color it should print on the item.
Exception might make the color of the substrate that might alter the grey shade, but, if a white layer is printed first as a base, this method shall brighten up and preserve all the colors of the design.

Why must color be in RGB if all printer including this one use CYMK to print

If you look closer, the RGB is the color mode of the original image (Image Information), as the file logo was previously saved for online purposes.
In the artisRIP software credentials, you will notice that the color mode is indeed CMYK, for printing purposes.

hello , I would like your advice.. I worked with a Roland-Lef300 for 5 years to a company (gr8 printer) , I want to start my own stuff and my budged aint 30k for a roland :D so... This printer is the lowest price I found...u thing is good enough for producing purpose for like 10 hours for almost every day for a year maybe 2y without destroying it? until I get something better :)

Except direct printing on metallic objects, which usually require a pre-treatment for a perfect fix of the print on the substrate, all artisJet UV LED printers can direct print on multiple types of surfaces, such as plastic and wood, which won't require any pre-treatment.
Even without pre-treatment, the UV LED ink has a great adhesion to the plastic items, such the case of pen printing in this video, and are also scratch resistant.

The process is not that long as it seems to you in this video, compared to other custom production options available in the printing industry. As you can see, the video was released in 2017. Even so, the steps were not that complicated, although working with uniques graphic designs might require some graphic design knowledge, and not everyone is trained for this.
The use of custom jigs such as the ones in this video, for pen printing, allows printing a specific amount of products on demand, depending on the customer’s request (one product, 12 pcs, 24 pcs, 72 pcs etc.). The products have to be measured so you can be sure the design fits the item perfectly. Otherwise, you will waste time, products, and ink. So better to avoid this by taking the right steps in the process.
The process is not that long as it seems to you in this video.
