For those who brag about the rank being low , kaz is a hell to rank up at any rank even the strongest kazuya players in the world says he is bottom 5 , and you win only when you outplay your opponent .

I've quit playing Kaz as main this T8 and i've been playing since T1. If you are not Qudans, Keisuke, BoA Luv or any high level player, forget about Kazuya. He's got great damage and 50/50 sure, but damn the execution, timing, and distance management is insane. He's super lethal if the pros play him tho.
Well for second to the last claim, that is absolutely not true. It is the absolute reverse. The best Kazuya in ranked, Keisuke, right now has said that he is never bottom 5. Real_devil, the most decorated Kazuya previously in Tekken 7, even famously accused by knee of cheating. Has said very recently that his current form is either S- to A+ tier in a stream a week or two ago(i was the one who asked the question). He reached God of Destruction like 3 weeks upon playing, and prior complained about him before adjusting yet changed his opinion ever since. BoaLuvb, probably the most well-known Kazuya from Tekken 7 who championed the most hyper-aggresive style of Kaz also never echoed the sentiment of a bottom 5. Sorry to burst your bubble but , this sentiment is absolutely specific to western tekken bro.

Seriously the only character that I never get mad losing to in Tekken 8 so far is Kazuya.
Sometimes I even cheer for him if he does really good Kazuya stuff/combo.
Cause when you think about it, Kazuya's Game Plan just revolves around knocking on down and doing vortex mix-up (which is either hell sweep, ff 3 or ff 4 if you stay down)

i feel you, i play Kazuya since i started Tekken 7 and i will tell you playing him is a journey. But its fun! My tip is, play as much private lobbies to learn everthing a mishima can do., mastering thins character has a ungodly amount of time. But im glad you like kazuya! Keep it up!

I've recently started playing kazuya, well at first I didn't understand how to play him but after watching guides, I've got a good grasp on how to play him, basically if you can't do his movements his punishes and fundamentals will allow you to get past orange ranks. I just Lab other characters and learn the moves' frame advantage and disadvantages.

Idk why bandai keep bringing kazuya down every single update, it almost seems that they hate this character lol. His poking is terrible, every single good move of his is steppable, his jab has horrendous reach. Idk man, i love kaz but u need to have a lot of effort to rank him up.

Because they do hate Kazuya. I don’t even think it’s a secret lol. I’m pretty sure they want everyone to stop playing him (and many other legacy characters), which is why they’re pushing new characters so hard. Then, they will eventually kill off Kazuya and delete him just like Heihachi.
Haha I know this pain ive been stuck at shinryu on kaz ive just taken a break from ranked. One must imagine Kazuya players happy in ranked.

0:58 based kazuya laser enjoyer. one of my favorite moves to use even though I almost always get punished when I use it... really funny when it works tho so worth it
I don't even try to use his laser when I'm too close to the opponent to avoid getting punished. Otherwise it's a really fun move
