I usually do a manual bend to the Frova introducer, rolling it in my hand resulting in a sort of hook shape. I call it "hook boogie", in order to follow the curvature of hyperangulated blades. As soon as the tip passes through the cords I turn the boogie 90/degrees to avoid the impingement of the boogie against the cricothyreoid membrane (or anterior aspect of the trachea).
