All the cases i know of where rape of minors took place was within the community and households by men who came from india. Even in the 1980s to present it's still happening. The community answer is , " brush it under the carpet." Izzat is their only concern. Don't break up a marriage. You go to court and your the one thats the black sheep of the entire pind. It's older generations mentality that need to change. Gurudwaaras can step in and help wake up the community. But the people appointed won't because Some of them themselves are culprits. What is in place to stop pedophiles on the pedophilic register entering Gurudwaaras. Yes Guru Kar is for all but what is there to protect the vulnerable? Nothing. We are all to blame for that. Noted one thing if you go to a Gurudwaara and clearly not a sikh they question you rudely in some Gurudwaaras. Yet they let their own sikh pedophiles in to do sewa. They don't know they are a pedophile. Yet they do know he could potentially be especially if they provide a good citizen letter for him for court. How is that right? Don't they have the common sense to follow up on the outcome?

Anything specific about that case regarding beadbi of sikhi by that 16 year girl . Will really want to know what were steps taken.

Bottom line it's our own community failure. Izzat izzat izzat ... What izzat is left? It's this one track thinking and why are Gurudwaaras run by a committee. Didn't Guru Gobind Singh dissolve masands. Fully initiated Panj Piaras should be appointed. Pull chuk marpf🙏
