Germans don't date, they accidentally spend time with someone and decide that it would be nice to spend more time with them afterwards. ;-)

It only seems that way, from the third date onwards things get extremely hot
i have been in Germany for 2 years almost but i could not date or interact with single German girls.The main problem is the language barrier and 2nd is the cultural difference and other problem is that majority of German girls are more introvert towards foreigners.They dont have that much intention to know about other culture.But its my personal experience.May be from their perspective its ok for them but i dont bother about that because i respect them too,its their choice.

Me: Well, I guess my grades are gonna be excellent because nobody will be interested in me.
What can be helpful is going to one of the clubs, such as fitness clubs or badminton clubs or tennis clubs or may orchestras, and what is totally uncommon in the US but totally common in Germany: The workplace. It is not a problem here. Or maybe team up in a learning team.

It's a little bit up to situation, if it's a serious date and both expecting something more or is it just a normal date like just friends.
The ladies i knew have a lot of self-confidence to pay their bill on her own, mostly it changed, one time i paid, next time she paid.
If she invited me to her home,
a flower, a bottle of wine if i know she drinks some or a small gift is something necessary for me and i really like do.
There must be an increase with a surprise 🙂

The people In Northern Germany,especially in the country, they don't date. They find their girl friend in the school, work, Sportverein or other Vereine or by Meeting with friends. It takes their time to get closer together. It depends of the same interests. There are a lot of german-russians, but they prefer to be by themselves. These girls have their difficulties to understand the men from here. These girls like these from US are used to be "angemacht" and dissapointed that the men ignore them. Here the girls starts conversation with eyes or speak frankly.
I date women from different countries in Europe , dating women in Europe country this is something very normal and nothing serious from beginning 😊
My future wife in Germany wanted to split the bill...I am Indo -Brit just NO WAY you pay all or I do ... she sussed it out and always that way until married babes how much do you have . Just 1st time I heard of that and dates before I am broke , you cover...Just getting on so well and she ordered her own bill... me fumed NO WAY you or me all. We got a gorgeous mixed race baby both IndoBrit/German. Say that to older Indians a total insult ....love Germany .

@Patricia O. Try to be a good camerade, be helpful, be friendly and be polite. And you can be pretty direct. It is okay to say well, you are very beautiful and i would like to know you better would you like to meet for a coffee.
It's very simple, just be yourself. Say something funny about yourself or something you love. Ask questions and remember what she said for the next date. Show that you are interested

Reicht diese Erfahrung aus, um ein 10 minütiges Video über "Dating in Germany" zu drehen oder welche Quellen hast du sonst noch dazu herangezogen?
If s.o. writes in English and talks English pay them the respect and courtesy to answer in English. Her issue is one everybody can talk about, the most of it is just as she decribes it. Source citation is for academical blabla and not really a thing for UA-cam. Content wise it is simply so that people, mostly girls for the east, have to make it through a cordon of proof that they are not only rich husband hunters. Best I have to say: Find a job where the men work, still by far the best marriage agency is work, job and not clubbing or online stuff.

@@dustyfun5944 Das ist keine wissenschaftliche Arbeit, also muss sie auch keine Quellen angeben. Zumal Quellen bei so etwas Subjektivem wohl ohnehin nicht zu beschaffen sind. Es ist doch offensichtlich, dass das ihre Erfahrung darstellen soll und gerade einen internationalen Vergleich kann sie ziehen, da sie schon viel rumgekommen ist.
@@Robschaf Natürlich ist das keine wissenschaftliche Arbeit und sie muss tatsächlich nicht wissenschaftlich zitieren. Allerdings ist sie auch sehr jung, 24 soweit ich weiß und ihre Aussagen beziehen sich auf Dating weltweit, West- und Osteuropa, Indien, USA, Deutschland und Österreich, wobei sie 5 Jahre in Deutschland, Griechenland, Österreich und Indien verbracht hat. Bei dieser breiten geografischen Streuung ihrer Ausführungen ist es eher offensichtlich, dass das nicht alles ihre eigenen Erfahrungen sein können, selbst wenn sie viel rumgekommen ist. Und ja, sind das ihre beiläufigen Beobachtungen des Alltags oder hat sie wirklich intensiv recherchiert, weiß sie das aus Gesprächen mit Freunden und Bekannten, hat sie Beziehungsratgeber gelesen oder erzählt sie uns einfach Sachen, die sie im Fernsehen gesehen hat? Du hast Recht, es ist alles sehr subjektiv und genau deshalb könnte sie die Qualität des Videos heben, wenn sie etwas genauer erläutert woher sie ihr Wissen hat, weil dann können wir es auch besser einordnen.
Offensichtlich reicht ihre Erfahrung, weil das was sie sagt, bekommt viel Zustimmung, auch von Deutschen.

Normally in Germany the man invites the woman. Most of the time I pay secretly when she is in the toilet 😂. But I really like seeing her take out her wallet, it shows me that she doesn't take it for granted that I pay. I usually meet for coffee or something on the first date. She doesn't have to spend a lot of time in the bathroom and could theoretically come in a jogging suit if she wanted 😂. We usually do something on the second date. Go to the theater or something. I even went to the sauna once. Yes, naked on the second date, that's possible in Germany (but not normal), but we got together pretty quickly
