Good Mowers, Had two given to me, walk behinds, Gave one to my son gave the other to my neighbor for one of his friend who had a large property that needed a extra tough mower to get through some tall weeds and overgrown field. Since they were gifted to me I just wanted them to get used.

I bought one of them a few years ago. Manual is on line free. I put a new fuel injection engine on mine old carb motor was grenaded. New seat, new wheels and tires, new spindles. Had less then then 2500. In it.
Too true...him looking at loose wires and not knowing what goes to where vs pulling up the exact make and model with photos to look at. Had me wondering what the hey???

Jeff spray it down with rust check that will loose up all your tread on the bolts . Might have start look 👀 for chew wires from the squirrel 🐿 sitting for 2 yrs . 😊

You two started crowing and the Rottweiler across the street started howling and he's still going and the only other thing he does that for is sirens and I don't hear any of those you guys have a good day and good luck. Hey Jeff, not that I think you need it but you can find the user manuals for free for that machine on the Scag website. Also, the safety features are usually: the handbrake on, steering arms out and deck disengaged. Great job getting it running!
The bar you folded up is the R O P Bar Roll Over Protection Bar. OSHA thing...People have a tendency to roll things over on themselves.... But You already know that I'm sure!

I seen a man one time make a gasket out of a cereal box cut it to fit and put sealer on it and it really did work! that mower will last a long time she sounded good! thanks jeff and paige! Ok , Jeff I noticed that you were using an adjustable wrench for a hammer !! Every Southern Boy knows that’s not the correct tool. You supposed to use Channel Locks for a hammer. LOL that looks like a Bad Boy that I bought from my son, after he tortured it for a while

Those Scags are built like tanks with all that heavy plate steel. I operated a walk behind Scag for many years. It worked great and was very reliable.
