love these new amp models! high gain amps are fun but I definitely got this modeler to emulate vintage amps I could afford! or atleast justify taking out on the road.
Can you use an external pedal such as a WahWah Pedal ??? Or is there a WahWah function on the QC that you can assign to an expression pedal ??? Anywho…I love my Quad Cortex !!!

Nice idea to add a looper but its pretty useless in a live situation if you have to tap a button to open and close it all the time. Cant 2 buttons just be set for record, overdub and delete as part of a full board?
The looper is probably the worst set up I have ever seen. Totally impractical. When performing live, reverse and half speed is not even important, fade function would have been better. More channels as opposed to confusing drop ins. Reloop? Why? In a live show I am not gonna be fucking about with the touch screen. I have a looper what I want from the Quad Cortex is an amazing profiler amp with a huge sharing community for amazing pro profiles and Neural DSP plug ins too. Freeze? Another brain fart. I would have liked to hear the amps in clean, drive and distortion with just no effects. It just seems you are selling to bedroom guitarists. Still not convinced sorry.
Good job John - clear crisp and concise explaining the new update features. Some of my colleagues, who have just bought QC wish there would be "a simple start-up guide for dummies"- constructing the chain, using external loopers & pedals etc. so they would have faster learning curve. I don't have time to do it.

Is it just me or does the amp models all sound way to reverberated. Is that a pre set or the mod?...
He’s putting those fx on it. I don’t use them myself because I just don’t like modulation fx. It’s not like they’re baked in to the amp.
Why not offer the software so I can run the os on my computer? Lot of people would prefer software over a device.
A lot of people prefer the quad over software.

Quad Cortex is clearly not made for live use. Look at anemic patch switching and the horrible wall wart.
Why the hate? There are a lot of pros switching to it. No issues. If you don’t know maybe put a plug-in in it.
