      Draorei eregor cara, vai estudar transexualidade antes de entrar em qualquer assunto assim. Não tente argumentar se vc não tem o mínimo de conhecimento sobre o assunto. Não confunda jamais HOMOSSEXUALIDADE com TRANSEXUALIDADE. Transexualidade não se ensina, as pessoas trans nascem assim, e é assim, e ponto.

      Deixa de ser ridículo. E o pai do garoto ficava triste pelo que a sociedade pensava a respeito, a partir do momento que ele entendeu que o filho dele era assim mesmo, e que se ele reprimisse o garoto daquele jeito, isso só traria sofrimento, ele aceitou a "condição" do garoto, e demonstrou todo seu amor por ele, perante todos aqueles pais na saída do colégio. Ele "passou vergonha" sem se importar, pra demonstrar pro filho que o ama de qualquer jeito, acima de qualquer coisa.

    I haven't been able to watch this without crying yet. This is how God intended parents to raise their children. Unconditional love. I fall apart during the scene with the dad sitting in the child's room, holding the dress in one hand, and realizing how many gendered stereotypes they were raised on and just how much he was EXPECTING from them when you should never have pressure on a kid for what they're going to grow up to be.

    De tudo o que eu vi neste vídeo, a mãe é a maior heroína... O pai passa o vídeo inteiro discriminando o filho pra no final levar todo o mérito? Ele não fez mais que a obrigação em aceitar o filho como ele realmente é. Mas quem lutou, brigou, protegeu foi a mãe.

    • @MoniqueCampos
      @MoniqueCampos 9 років тому +92

      Oi *****, tudo bem? Concordo com vc sobre a mãe ser guerreira e protetora, mas não acho que seja sobre o pai "levar o mérito". A mãe amou o filho independente de qualquer coisa, mas o pai era preconceituoso, e a partir da visão da esposa e do filho foi capaz de superar o preconceito. Quando se é uma pessoa compreensível como a mãe, entender outras situações às quais não se está acostumada é mais fácil, mas mudar tudo aquilo que vc foi ensinado desde sempre e re-aprender a pensar e agir (principalmente por amor) é algo que devemos realmente apoiar. Gostei do vídeo em tantas maneiras que sou incapaz de descrever!

      ***** mas concordo plenamente sobre a mãe ser a heroína... mas se você for ver a letra da música, ela fala, "vamos deixar a luz entrar, vamos acreditar em nossas mentes, etc..." acho que a intenção não foi mostrar quem é melhor, quem é herói, mas sim, mostrar a desconstrução social de preconceitos preconcebidos de juízo de valor, o pai finalmente vil a filha como ela é, uma filha linda, digna de todo amor, toda educação, proteção e respeito a sua dignidade

    • @LorenzoBarichello
      @LorenzoBarichello 9 років тому +10

    The thing is with boys and girls, girls can go around like a tom-boy, with the baggy clothes and the hoodie and stuff and not get judged for it because its one of the feminine personalities that is recognized now-a-days.(Correct me if I'm wrong, I am a tom-boy and I have not been bullied or judged for my male like actions) But if a boy is caught doing feminine things like playing with dolls and wearing dresses its a completely different story. I see nothing wrong with it myself, of course yes it may take a while to get used to it for some people. You people just gotta get you heads out of the sand and haul your asses back into the present time. This is not the 1800's, this is today, and today we should have some sort of respect for one anothers personalities and choices.

    • @dadoowXD
      @dadoowXD 9 років тому +20

      Rodebert Cairon Córtes
      Cachorro, gato, elefante, tartaruga, dragão e unicórnio não são identidades de gênero, você deveria ser menos ignorante ao se referir a uma criança ou a uma pessoa trasgênera desta maneira, além de estúpido, é desrespeitoso.
      1. Vestir-se com roupas socialmente consideradas femininas, apropriadas para o corpo da mulher não lhe faz uma mulher, não lhe faz querer sentir como uma, necessariamente. São apenas expressões, papeis de gênero, e em nada mudam sua identidade de gênero, a não ser que você queira.
      2. Imaginar, curtir, fantasiar, brincar... Não são deturpações da infância, muito menos manipulações, entenda isso. Nenhuma criança nasce preconceituosa, se torna, com influências como você.
      3. Nunca mais compare um homossexual ou um transexual, que assim como você, são adultos, possuem relações adultas e consensuais com outros adultos, possuem os mesmos direitos e deveres que você e, assim como você, pagam a todos os impostos, com um pedófilo, que normalmente é de grande maioria HÉTERO e CLÉRIGO.
      Mais respeito, mais amor, menos ódio.

    Certains disent que cette vidéo suggère qu'un Dieu se serait trompé. Je ne vois pas où ce message apparaît. Si quelqu'un se trompe, ce sont ceux qui refusent de tendre la main à l'autre, celui qui n'est pas comme eux. Je ne crois pas qu'il soit utile de mêler un Dieu à la haine de l"humanité, d'autant plus que les messages religieux vont rarement dans ce sens.
    C'est une très belle vidéo, avec un message fort, une image poignante.

    What a beautiful message.
    Regardless of what a person's sex is, they have the right to express themselves in whatever ways they choose, as long it's not harmful to themselves and others (and yes, a male expressing himself by "feminine" expectations is not harmful to himself, or anyone else).
    What I would love for society is to get to the point where the words masculinity/femininity are ONLY associated with primary and secondary SEX characteristics and have no "gender" implications. Gender is a SOCIALLY constructed idea, and because it is constructed, it can be deconstructed. I would love to get to the point in society where the term gender, or the idea of it (that idea being SOCIAL characteristics associated with masculinity and femininity, or characteristics associated with the male and female sexes of people) are no longer in existence. I believe that this is possibly the only way human beings will ever live in harmony.

    De todas as lições contidas no vídeo a maior é que; não podemos nos anular como seres humanos que somos, para agradar uma sociedade hipócrita e mesquinha, que tanto nos cobra e nada nos oferece em troca!

    I'm literally crying so hard right now. This is amazing. For a girl that looks like a boy (short hair, masculine clothes, a masculine body shape) it's not nice to deal with people calling me a boy all the time, or asking if I'm a lesbian because I have short hair (hair doesn't correlate with sexuality!). I'm also planning to wear some sort of suit for Leavers Day this year and already I can see everybody staring and the comments I'm going to get. But you know what? I don't care - I will just do what I want because I'm the only one who should and can make a decision about what I look like.
    That is why this video is so uplifting! A parents' understanding and recognition about who you are is the most important thing, because parents are the only ones who can teach kids what's right.

    I love this video. Because at first the dad is angry and annoyed by the sons love of dresses (amongst other things). But he eventually comes to understand that his son happiness is more important. And he manages to pull his heard out of his arse and do something brave for his son. It shows that people can change.

    Estou aqui pensando em como minha vida se modificou no último ano.
    Desenvolvi uma depressão severa, fui abandonada por todo mundo que eu colocava em um pedestal, me endividei...
    Hoje busco forças pra seguir em frente, todos os dias eu travo uma batalha pra poder resgatar a pessoa que eu fui, sinto saudade de mim. O único lado bom é que mesmo depois de todos os meus medos se tornarem reais, eu percebi que eu ainda tô viva, agora é olhar pra frente.
    O desabafo é pq eu quis mesmo, um beijo pra quem tá triste e pra quem tá feliz também. ♡

    La felicidad comienza desde la familia, una madre es la mejor amiga para los hijos, muy pocos padres varones entienden el corazón de sus hijos.
    No hay cosa más linda que familia unida, permanezca unida, todos somos iguales.

    This is gorgeous. It's so sad that femininity is hated so much by society that males cannot be in any way "girly" while girls are allowed, sometimes encouraged, to be more masculine. I was always allowed to be a tomboy, play football, never wear dresses, be the male parts in role play - I dread to think what I would have felt if I were a boy who liked feminine things. When you take a step back, gender roles are absolutely ABSURD. Even when you're in favour of freedom of expression and enjoy this video, most of us are still so used to the strict social norms that we don't find it odd that they're even there.

    Kids need to feel the right to be who they are, in a world that is constantly trying to mold you into someone you aren't, it's rather fabulous to see someone stand up for their child (a little late) but still nice to see.
    I will also admit that I wanted to beat the shit out of that dad for 2/3 of the video, but the fact that he change, that he found the courage inside himself to change, that is what makes him a real man.

    I must say, i am most impressed. After watching came here to the comments expecting a lot of hatred comments, instead i see that most people are understanding and supportive. I am not a transgendered person, but empathy is human ability and i know how dreadful and sad is a life when everyone mocks, bullies and mistreat you. So it makes me really happy knowing that people are growing out of ignorance and hatred towards compreehension and love. Thank you artists for the music, which is touching, thank you people for being adorable.
