- Freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall, it was a very tough adventure. 24 hours alone high up in the snowy mountains. Freezing wind made it especially difficult for me.

I loved watching the snow on the trees and hearing your footsteps on the ground. All while drinking a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. So relaxing. Thank you for sharing this video. 🍷 🍷

The wind is the big factor. With the right gear, cold isn’t so bad. The wind goes right through you no matter what. That’s the real challenge. Nice footage and camp, peaceful video.
I can only agree. In the beginning the wind was quite strong. Later, sheltered from the wind in the tent, it was significantly warmer.

I used to go to northern Pakistan for camping and enjoying snowing, but unfortunately due to sciatic pain, couldn't go this year...Now I'm enjoying in my bed to watch your video. Thanks for sharing

I watch a lot of camping videos to learn how people do things differently, especially in the winter, this one had some really great shots of the snowfall, would have liked it to have been longer, maybe a 2nd or 3rd night next time.

@@MatthiasOutdoors Yes, I camp year round, my favourite time of the year to be in the woods is winter. Where I live there are very few people around. My nearest human neighbours are about 10 miles away. My closest neighbours are coyotes, bears, moose and other wildlife. Best neighbours I have ever had.

Un consejo. Cuando use navaja para cortar la madera en dos , no golpee con la mano. Puede hacerse mucho daño y en un sitio aislado con nieve , puede suponerle un disgusto muy serio. Utilice un trozo de madera para golpear el cuchillo.

Just a follow-up question, do the stoves with windows radiate more heat or just more light with the illusion of more heat?
It makes more heat. the heat rays penetrate more easily through the glass than through the metal. And it's a lot cozier

Outside it was minus 10 degrees and in the tent about 18-20 degrees. I always open the roof up a little to allow air to circulate. More fresh air and more safety

Yes it is. In the tent it is around 20 degrees plus when the stove is burning. Absolutely cozy
