Please just PLEASE make a really long video like a 40 min video of you sketching. Just like this.. its so relaxing and amazing.
Already exists
ua-cam.com/video/SSvp9vvL1FA/v-deo.html
@@rhetrochips9471 there is a huge difference in both videos bro..!
he has a youtube channel called Karl Kopinski
Kopinski is such a mad lad, the skill, the looseness, the fact he's so relaxed doing his thing. Truly enjoys what he's doing. Seems like he could pump out ANYTHING and it looks breathtaking.
No reference, let's also not forget he didn't draw anything beforehand for self-created reference.
*_What an amazing artist, who else agrees?_*
And that's not even mentioning that he's ambidextrous!
@@artawhirler hes left handed
@@charliebaker1427 he's ambidextrous to a certain degree
He did draw beforehand, there's a light sketch on the paper.
Karl is Brilliant
Your not lazy, you figured out something unique for the values. Brilliant!
This is a really great video with great tips I’m just confused on why you don’t have a lot of subs, UA-cam needs to recommend this guy to artists alike
Its not his personal youtube its an online art course website
Radu Cris There are only a handful of exceptional true artists on youtube imho and these tend to have far less subs than the one trick pony type “artists” that appeal to young viewers. A lot of these younger viewers are attracted to the entertaining personalities who do the “art” rather than the artwork itself, and these are more of an entertainment channel imho. There are a couple or so highly subbed channel content providers in the art community who are exceptions to this though to be fair, just as there are a couple of highly subbed channels with artists like Karl too. However, the artists like Karl are few and far between on UA-cam imho. I’ve just subbed to Karl so I am pleased this channel showcased his work. 🙂
youtube isn't really a great place to learn art it's mostly focused on entertaining children with youtube influencers. It used to be a few years ago when channel's like Sycra did really well.
Dogar Doogin There are still a few good art channels out there who are dedicated to teaching rather than entertaining, but 90 percent of the art channels are repetitive with little imagination or effort put in place. The main problem is over saturation of art channels which means quantity is now over riding quality, sadly.
@@Kyomiibrown you know that channels like those help the younger generations get into art? those channels are meant to entertain kids because kids cant understand the basic fundamentals for art nor would they care so of course they would gravitate to those cartoonish colorful drawing channels. Since most art channels that do realistic art can't really make an earning here they usually need to find a better source of income and those that do have a following are usually either mostly trying to get you to join their art classes/patreon with only a small percentage joining them. Quantity over quality is inevitable with the art community since there's also a lot of people who do it for fun or try to make a living out of it. So imo those that teach what you to become a better artist also need to make a living out of it and the same with entertainment channels, expect repetitivenes since more people watch those so the ad revenue is better . Don't shit on channels on UA-cam just because you're into more detailed art, they need a living too =+
Kopinski has such a unique, method to the madness style with his lines -- I can't get enough of his work. Even going back to his Games Workshop stuff, its just maddening how perfect it FEELS, not just looks.
When he made the marks at 4:25 that ended with a loose hair sweep my brain and heart experienced great joy.
I could listen to master Kopinski speak all day. him and Kim Jung Gi both have such calm and meticulous manners of speaking. the zweihander method Kopinski uses is just ridiculous, love to see the both of them draw.
I so agree
Love Karl! He's such a great artist and seems like a chill amazing guy
Awsome...So simple and organic... watching you drawing is very inspiring and illuminating
tnx for sharing your skills with us...
Absolutely incredible technique. You make it looks so easy. BRB gonna go grab me some of these pens
Love this guy! Bought his sketchbook volume one a while back and was blown away. Amazing artist!
I'm not even an artist or anything and happened by this by chance but I do enjoy listening to him speak. Very nice energy about him.
Phenomenal! A masterpiece in less than 10 minutes! So remarkable to see such talent and how an artist can create such magic with pen and paper! You are an artist extraordinaire!
When a master speaks you listen :-)
Great artist. Very interesting to see him work. You feel the massive amount of experience behind it.
man i love this guy's accent and voice so much i can literaly listen to him to sleep
Random person walks up : "Who's that?"
Damn I hated that shit in school
BURN İTT
🤦🏻♂️
Yo I love your content man. That pixel art mistake one helped me a ton.
That is so annoying for me, cause then you be like “idk”
Can't even draw like that with one hand. Haha.
You just motivated me to become better. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your amazing skills Karl. Much appreciated.
It’s amazing how quickly you can make such a great drawing.
Fast artist.. the best kind of artists
Excellent video, good technique, very ambidextrous.
Been drawing since i was a kid decades ago yet i never really liked sitting there doing it for long at all. It's more of an obsession to see what i can complete and have as a final thing, final piece of art. I know that those who have the patience and actually enjoy the minute by minute, second by second process are often the ones who do well if they have creativity and talent. Hell i still do art for a living and the process drives me nuts 85% of the time. Results however can make it feel good when it's complete and after i clean up
I don't think artists enjoy the minute to minute either. I think that's what being an artist is. Looking at your own work and thinking it's shit until you finish the last 10%.
“Here’s a quick tip”
….creates a masterpiece
Love this tip! I use the brush pen in a painterly way, too, and I was thinking whether I should get a waterbrush pen or mix grays. This video tipped my decision in favor of the waterbrush pen.
Great video!!!! Always awesome seeing Karl and his commentary (for this video) is so helpful. Thank you for sharing!
in the minute 4, the model is looking like vladimir ilich lennin.
dude your right
I am the walrus?
Really usefull, Mr. Kopinski es uno de los dibujantes más didácticos que conozco. Ojalá lo tuviera a mi lado siempre :)
Great video, super helpful for new artist to see this type of content. It would be great if you posted all materials used when you make these videos, recommended paper, pens, etc etc.
Amazing Artist!! Huge fan of his work!!
Amo a este artista , te amo Karl Kopinski
Dam! you are fun to watch! So good!
It seems the earlier you practice the right techniques from the ground up the easier it will be not to feel constrained by former practices. Having done things the wrong way, I can say it is really frustrating to undo your ways and force yourself to start over, but it’s probably what alot of us need to do.
Amazing! I love how quickly you can see the results with this technique. Keep it up Karl!!
Fantastic artist
Yes, indeed!

Mesmerizing
Very rad & cool!
wow.. great and great drawing 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey Karl, Pentel makes a white paint brush pen now!! It's great though not as opaque as a correction pen.
Thank you for posting
At first i was like "freddie mercury" but then i saw it "Lenin with hair"
Out of nowhere, Double wielding Karl Kopinski appears
great tips!!!
Going to file this one under aspirational.
Very skilled and informative. Quite nice!
Amazing video
I just got the Pentel Aquash light black brush pen to try it out. It's damn hard to use. I'm wondering if the brushes on brush pens need to be cleaned after use like actual paint brushes or is it good with the cap on? I see Karl seems to already have the pen good to go when he uncapped it and he just capped it again afterwards unless he cleaned it later on.
He's great!
Genius!
The Big Kopinski!
Man, I love this guy
Thank you Karl!
I've only watched this like 5 times.
Karl is amazing such a fantastic artist, I love love sketching with ink, that’s 90% of what my sketchbook sketches are done in! Like karl mentioned I love how lose you can be and the painterly Feel drawings can have.
Little did Karl know that he was drawing the first and founding head of the government of Soviet Russia in the beginning of his sketch.
quick tips . draws with both hands :)))) my man good tips
That was awesome
Subscribe plz
Didnt expect him to have such a british accent. I love his stuff. Amazing artist
I'm in love with you Karl
so basically the "Quick Tip" is: understand shapes, know head and facial features from all angles, get lighting in a way to can visualize it with your eyes closed from any angle on any 3 diminutional angle, train your week hand to draw in a good enough way, have a huge visual bank for faces...and yea.. use a good paper that handles ok with water :)))
all jokes aside, love Karl's work he is an amazing artists. Any show case of him drawing and talking is pure gold for me..
still made me giggle :)
I have since bought some of these brush pens and find them to be the best thing ever. Especially the grey one with the water brush!
This reminds me of metal gear cover art similar to Yoji Shinkawa
Amaaaazing ! Thank you !
I really enjoyed this.
Wow Cool !! Thanks!
My god! Drawing with both arms!..
Hah, I wonder if it’s twice faster to draw that way) it’d be cool. No problems with deadline...
Ambidextrious, i thought this was only a thing in D&D
i have a similar style in pencil" a smearer of graphite", i've been called. water coloresque without the color. just learned there is an eraser for ink, thank you Karl.
God that's gorgeous
So, your quick tip is to be ambidextrous?
😉
No kidding, it is a beautiful little sketch!
Thank you
